Epidemiolog Bernard Kaić iz Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo komentirao je za N1 pojavu majmunskih boginja u Europi: koliko su opasne, kako se liječe, trebamo li se brinuti?

Kaić je kazao da je to virusna bolest koju izaziva virus sličan virusu velikih boginja, međutim, postoje bitne razlike.

“Ova bolest je puno manje zarazna nego što su bile velike boginje i niža je smrtnost nego što je bila kod velikih boginja. To zapravo nije prvenstveno bolest ljudi, nego glodavaca u centralnoj i zapadnoj Africi, a povremeno bude prelaza na ljude, te s čovjeka na čovjeka, ali ne često jer nije jako zarazna”, rekao je epidemiolog Kaić za N1.

Pojašnjavajući kako se širi s čovjeka na čovjeka, kazao je da se u početku to odvija kapljičnim putem, ali je napomenuo da se mora raditi o direktnom kontaktu.

“Dakle, mora se biti u dugotrajnom bliskom kontaktu da bi se prenijela kapljičnim putem”, kazao je Kaić pa otkrio da je druga opcija prijenosa putem izlučevina iz kožnih promjena, a moguće je zaraziti se i spolnim putem.

“Ovi zadnji slučajevi koji se javljaju u Europi su u najvećem dijelu spolnim putem preneseni”, rekao je Kaić.

Rekao je i da se smatra da su rezervoar ovog virusa glodavci u divljini u Africi.

“Mogu prijeći na majmune pa se zovu majmunske boginje, ali oni nisu pravi izvor ove bolesti. Na čovjeka može prijeći tako da životinja ugrize ili ogrebe čovjeka, ili ako čovjek prilikom manipuliranja s bolesnom ili uginulom životinjom dođe u kontakt s njezinim izlučevinama putem oštećene kože i sluznice”, rekao je Kaić.

Kaić kao najčešće simptome navodi slabost, povišenu tjelesnu temperaturu, iscrpljenost, bolove u mišićima, bolove u leđima, kazao je za N1.

Epidemiolog Bernard Kaić iz Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo komentirao je za N1 pojavu majmunskih boginja u Europi: koliko su opasne, kako se liječe, trebamo li se brinuti?

Kaić je kazao da je to virusna bolest koju izaziva virus sličan virusu velikih boginja, međutim, postoje bitne razlike.

“Ova bolest je puno manje zarazna nego što su bile velike boginje i niža je smrtnost nego što je bila kod velikih boginja. To zapravo nije prvenstveno bolest ljudi, nego glodavaca u centralnoj i zapadnoj Africi, a povremeno bude prelaza na ljude, te s čovjeka na čovjeka, ali ne često jer nije jako zarazna”, rekao je epidemiolog Kaić za N1.

Pojašnjavajući kako se širi s čovjeka na čovjeka, kazao je da se u početku to odvija kapljičnim putem, ali je napomenuo da se mora raditi o direktnom kontaktu.

“Dakle, mora se biti u dugotrajnom bliskom kontaktu da bi se prenijela kapljičnim putem”, kazao je Kaić pa otkrio da je druga opcija prijenosa putem izlučevina iz kožnih promjena, a moguće je zaraziti se i spolnim putem.

“Ovi zadnji slučajevi koji se javljaju u Europi su u najvećem dijelu spolnim putem preneseni”, rekao je Kaić.

Rekao je i da se smatra da su rezervoar ovog virusa glodavci u divljini u Africi.

“Mogu prijeći na majmune pa se zovu majmunske boginje, ali oni nisu pravi izvor ove bolesti. Na čovjeka može prijeći tako da životinja ugrize ili ogrebe čovjeka, ili ako čovjek prilikom manipuliranja s bolesnom ili uginulom životinjom dođe u kontakt s njezinim izlučevinama putem oštećene kože i sluznice”, rekao je Kaić.

Kaić kao najčešće simptome navodi slabost, povišenu tjelesnu temperaturu, iscrpljenost, bolove u mišićima, bolove u leđima, kazao je za N1.

Epidemiolog Bernard Kaić iz Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo komentirao je za N1 pojavu majmunskih boginja u Europi: koliko su opasne, kako se liječe, trebamo li se brinuti?

Kaić je kazao da je to virusna bolest koju izaziva virus sličan virusu velikih boginja, međutim, postoje bitne razlike.

“Ova bolest je puno manje zarazna nego što su bile velike boginje i niža je smrtnost nego što je bila kod velikih boginja. To zapravo nije prvenstveno bolest ljudi, nego glodavaca u centralnoj i zapadnoj Africi, a povremeno bude prelaza na ljude, te s čovjeka na čovjeka, ali ne često jer nije jako zarazna”, rekao je epidemiolog Kaić za N1.

Pojašnjavajući kako se širi s čovjeka na čovjeka, kazao je da se u početku to odvija kapljičnim putem, ali je napomenuo da se mora raditi...
