Ne trebamo biti iznenađeni što je južnoafrički soj koronavirusa, koji je već prisutan u mnogim europskim zemljama, stigao u Hrvatsku. Sreća je da zaraženi turisti nisu bolest prenijeli na nikoga drugog, kazala je molekularna biologinja i članica Znanstvenog savjeta Vlade RH Andreja Ambriović Ristov u emisiji Studio 4 HTV-a. Istaknula je i kako nije točno da prebolijevanje bolesti štiti bolje od cjepiva.

Ambriović Ristov kaže kako očekuje da će Hrvatska dobiti više doza cjepiva te se nada da ćemo postići procijepljenost od barem 50 posto.

- Procijepljenost populacije ovisi o širenju varijanti, za varijante koje se brže šire trebat će veća procijepljenost. Možda će se podaci o 70 posto, što bi bilo dosta za kolektivni imunitet, morati revidirati. Borba protiv novih varijanti je držati epidemiju pod kontrolom i smanjiti broj cirkulirajućih varijanti u populaciji.

Razlike između britanskog i južnoafričkog soja

- Trebamo nastaviti pratiti sve te varijante, sekvenciranjem ili uvođenjem jedne prilagođene PCR metode koja će tražiti te varijante, kazala je, naglasivši prvenstveno južnoafričku varijantu, jer za britansku već znamo da je prisutna u našoj populaciji (20-ak posto). Kako znamo da je ta varijanta brže širuća, očekujemo da će se natjecati sa starim sojem i preuzeti vodstvo, objasnila je.

- Za britansku varijantu znamo da se brže širi, ali simptomi su jednaki kao i za prethodne varijante. Za južnoafrički soj znamo da se brže širi, ali ne znamo koliko. Za južnoafrički soj nemamo dovoljno podataka, uzrokuje li teži oblik bolesti ili ne. Bit će zanimljivo vidjeti u populacijama u kojima se nađu dvije brzoširuće varijante - koja će pobijediti.

Građani ni na koji način ne mogu detektirati radi li se o nekoj varijanti, simptomi su isti. Ovaj virus uzrokuje različite simptome u ljudima različite dobi, od toga da su asimptomatski do toga da ljudi koji su i mlađi završe s teškim simptomima - rekla je Ambriović Ristov.

Sva cjepiva štite od teških oblika bolesti

Naglasila je da su sva cjepiva dobra jer štite od teških oblika bolesti.

- Postoji samo podatak za Pfizerovo cjepivo da neutralizirajuća protutijela protiv južnoafričke varijante štite samo jednu trećinu od zaraze. To ne znači da je ta jedna trećina ukupni imunosni odgovor jer se on sastoji od protutijela i stanica koje ubijaju stanice zaražene virusom, rekla je Ristov dodajući da nije prošlo dovoljno vremena da možemo tvrditi koliko će cjepiva štititi protiv južnoafričkog soja.

- Za ostala cjepiva postoje samo indikacije, zna se da AstraZeneca manje štiti, sva cjepiva koja su napravljena na temelju proteina S manje štite. Proizvođači su reagirali, Moderna i Pfizer su najavili kako će pripremati nova cjepiva temeljena na slijedu za južnoafričke varijante - dodala je Ristov.

Istaknula je kako nije točno da prebolijevanje bolesti štiti bolje od cjepiva.

- Imunitet dobiven cjepivom je bolji od prebolijevanja bolesti upravo zato jer su simptomi različiti, stoga je preporučeno da se ljudi koji su preboljeli Covid cijepe.

Sars-Cov-2 nije sezonalni virus

- Jasno je da Sars-Cov-2 nije sezonalni virus i da je prisutan tijekom cijele godine, poručila je Ristov. 

Pojasnila je i zašto postoji porast oboljelih u zemljama u kojima je sad ljeto:

- Sve ovisi o epidemiološkim mjerama, broju ljudi i broju cirkulirajućih virusa. ako jedna varijanta koja je zaraznija, onda uz postojeće epidemiološke mjere epidemija se razbuktava. Ne treba paničariti oko novih varijanti, stalno se stvaraju. Očekujemo stvaranje novih varijanti i zato ih se stalno pratimo. Način borbi protiv novih varijanti su epidemiološke mjere koje smanjuju cirkulaciju virusa.

Govoreći o situaciji u Hrvatskoj, Ambriović Ristov ustvrdila je da su mjere krajem godine kasnile što se pokazalo na broju novih slučajeva koronavirusa.

- U slučaju da vidimo povećanje broja zaraženih i s obzirom koja će varijanta biti u pitanju, svakako ćemo predložiti uvođenje strožih mjera, poručila je.

Ambriović Ristović je preporučila građanima da se cijepe AstraZenecom dodajući da očekuje kako njegova učinkovitost kod starijih neće biti puno manja nego kod mlađe populacije.

- Svi se čudimo što se događa s malom iskorištenosti AstraZenecina cjepiva. U stručnoj literaturi stoji da ima učinkovitost od 62 posto. Cjepiva protiv gripe učinkovita su 40 do 60 posto i svatko tko se cijepio imao je puno manje simptome i nitko nije umro. Ne vidim razloga da se cjepiva koja imaju učinkovitost od 62 posto ne smatraju jednako dobrim kao i cjepiva Moderne ili Pfizera.

Ne trebamo biti iznenađeni što je južnoafrički soj koronavirusa, koji je već prisutan u mnogim europskim zemljama, stigao u Hrvatsku. Sreća je da zaraženi turisti nisu bolest prenijeli na nikoga drugog, kazala je molekularna biologinja i članica Znanstvenog savjeta Vlade RH Andreja Ambriović Ristov u emisiji Studio 4 HTV-a. Istaknula je i kako nije točno da prebolijevanje bolesti štiti bolje od cjepiva.

Ambriović Ristov kaže kako očekuje da će Hrvatska dobiti više doza cjepiva te se nada da ćemo postići procijepljenost od barem 50 posto.

- Procijepljenost populacije ovisi o širenju varijanti, za varijante koje se brže šire trebat će veća procijepljenost. Možda će se podaci o 70 posto, što bi bilo dosta za kolektivni imunitet, morati revidirati. Borba protiv novih varijanti je držati epidemiju pod kontrolom i smanjiti broj cirkulirajućih varijanti u populaciji.

Razlike između britanskog i južnoafričkog soja

- Trebamo nastaviti pratiti sve te varijante, sekvenciranjem ili uvođenjem jedne prilagođene PCR metode koja će tražiti te varijante, kazala je, naglasivši prvenstveno južnoafričku varijantu, jer za britansku već znamo da je prisutna u našoj populaciji (20-ak posto). Kako znamo da je ta varijanta brže širuća, očekujemo da će se natjecati sa starim sojem i preuzeti vodstvo, objasnila je.

- Za britansku varijantu znamo da se brže širi, ali simptomi su jednaki kao i za prethodne varijante. Za južnoafrički soj znamo da se brže širi, ali ne znamo koliko. Za južnoafrički soj nemamo dovoljno podataka, uzrokuje li teži oblik bolesti ili ne. Bit će zanimljivo vidjeti u populacijama u kojima se nađu dvije brzoširuće varijante - koja će pobijediti.

Građani ni na koji način ne mogu detektirati radi li se o nekoj varijanti, simptomi su isti. Ovaj virus uzrokuje različite simptome u ljudima različite dobi, od toga da su asimptomatski do toga da ljudi koji su i mlađi završe s teškim simptomima - rekla je Ambriović Ristov.

Sva cjepiva štite od teških oblika bolesti

Naglasila je da su sva cjepiva dobra jer štite od teških oblika bolesti.

- Postoji samo podatak za Pfizerovo cjepivo da neutralizirajuća protutijela protiv južnoafričke varijante štite samo jednu trećinu od zaraze. To ne znači da je ta jedna trećina ukupni imunosni odgovor jer se on sastoji od protutijela i stanica koje ubijaju stanice zaražene virusom, rekla je Ristov dodajući da nije prošlo dovoljno vremena da možemo tvrditi koliko će cjepiva štititi protiv južnoafričkog soja.

- Za ostala cjepiva postoje samo indikacije, zna se da AstraZeneca manje štiti, sva cjepiva koja su napravljena na temelju proteina S manje štite. Proizvođači su reagirali, Moderna i Pfizer su najavili kako će pripremati nova cjepiva temeljena na slijedu za južnoafričke varijante - dodala je Ristov.

Istaknula je kako nije točno da prebolijevanje bolesti štiti bolje od cjepiva.

- Imunitet dobiven cjepivom je bolji od prebolijevanja bolesti upravo zato jer su simptomi različiti, stoga je preporučeno da se ljudi koji su preboljeli Covid cijepe.

Sars-Cov-2 nije sezonalni virus

- Jasno je da Sars-Cov-2 nije sezonalni virus i da je prisutan tijekom cijele godine, poručila je Ristov. 

Pojasnila je i zašto postoji porast oboljelih u zemljama u kojima je sad ljeto:

- Sve ovisi o epidemiološkim mjerama, broju ljudi i broju cirkulirajućih virusa. ako jedna varijanta koja je zaraznija, onda uz postojeće epidemiološke mjere epidemija se razbuktava. Ne treba paničariti oko novih varijanti, stalno se stvaraju. Očekujemo stvaranje novih varijanti i zato ih se stalno pratimo. Način borbi protiv novih varijanti su epidemiološke mjere koje smanjuju cirkulaciju virusa.

Govoreći o situaciji u Hrvatskoj, Ambriović Ristov ustvrdila je da su mjere krajem godine kasnile što se pokazalo na broju novih slučajeva koronavirusa.

- U slučaju da vidimo povećanje broja zaraženih i s obzirom koja će varijanta biti u pitanju, svakako ćemo predložiti uvođenje strožih mjera, poručila je.

Ambriović Ristović je preporučila građanima da se cijepe AstraZenecom dodajući da očekuje kako njegova učinkovitost kod starijih neće biti puno manja nego kod mlađe populacije.

- Svi se čudimo što se događa s malom iskorištenosti AstraZenecina cjepiva. U stručnoj literaturi stoji da ima učinkovitost od 62 posto. Cjepiva protiv gripe učinkovita su 40 do 60 posto i svatko tko se cijepio imao je puno manje simptome i nitko nije umro. Ne vidim razloga da se cjepiva koja imaju učinkovitost od 62 posto ne smatraju jednako dobrim kao i cjepiva Moderne ili Pfizera.

Ne trebamo biti iznenađeni što je južnoafrički soj koronavirusa, koji je već prisutan u mnogim europskim zemljama, stigao u Hrvatsku. Sreća je da zaraženi turisti nisu bolest prenijeli na nikoga drugog, kazala je molekularna biologinja i članica Znanstvenog savjeta Vlade RH Andreja Ambriović Ristov u emisiji Studio 4 HTV-a. Istaknula je i kako nije točno da prebolijevanje bolesti štiti bolje od cjepiva.

Ambriović Ristov kaže kako očekuje da će Hrvatska dobiti više doza cjepiva te se nada da ćemo postići procijepljenost od barem 50 posto.

- Procijepljenost populacije ovisi o širenju varijanti, za varijante koje se brže šire trebat će veća procijepljenost. Možda će se podaci o 70 posto, što bi bilo dosta za kolektivni imunitet, morati revidirati. Borba protiv...
