Na Wall Streetu su burzovni indeksi pali i u srijedu, treći dan zaredom, jer je ulagače neugodno iznenadio podatak da je inflacija u SAD-u dosegnula 9,1 posto, najvišu razinu od 1981. godine.
Dow Jones oslabio je 208 bodova ili 0,67 posto, na 30.772 boda, dok je S&P 500 skliznuo 0,45 posto, na 3.801 bod, a Nasdaq indeks 0,15 posto, na 11.247 bodova.
Tijekom trgovanja ti su indeksi bili u minusu i više od 1 posto jer je ulagače šokirao podatak da je inflacija u SAD-u u lipnju dosegnula 9,1 posto, novu najvišu razinu u više od 40 godina.
Analitičari su očekivali rast inflacije s 8,6 posto, koliko je iznosila u svibnju, na 8,8 posto, pa je ovaj podatak učvrstio uvjerenje na tržištu da će američka središnja banka u srpnju povećati ključne kamatne stope za agresivnih 0,75 postotnih bodova.
Neki sada čak špekuliraju da bi Fed mogao podignuti kamate za cijeli postotni bod.
U nastojanju da suzbije inflaciju, američka središnja banka povećala je od početka godine ključne kamate u raspon od 1,5 do 1,75 posto, a morat će i dalje agresivno podizati cijenu novca.
Zbog toga se rast gospodarstva usporava, a pitanje je samo hoće li Fed uspjeti 'mekano' prizemljiti gospodarstvo ili ga gurnuti u recesiju.
„Mislim da je recesija neizbježna. Fed će morati biti agresivan kratkoročno i spustiti potražnju, a to vodi u recesiju”, kaže Liz Ann Sonders iz tvrtke Charles Schwab.
Ipak, u drugom dijelu trgovanja burzovni su indeksi ublažili gubitke.
„Nakon ovakvog izvješća o inflaciji, očekivali biste veliko povlačenje iz rizičnih investicija, no tržište se nakon početnog pada smirilo. Mislim da je to zbog toga što ulagači ionako već od prije očekuju agresivno povećanje kamata Feda”, kaže Ross Mayfield, analitičar u tvrtki Baird.
U fokusu ulagača bit će idućih dana kvartalni poslovni rezultati kompanija.
U anketi Reutersa analitičari procjenjuju da su kompanije iz sastava S&P 500 indeksa u drugom tromjesečju ostvarile rast zarada za 5,7 posto u odnosu na isto lanjsko razdoblje, što bi bio znatno manji rast nego u prethodnim kvartalima.
Osim rezultata, ulagači će pažljivo analizirati i procjene kompanija o daljnjem poslovanju, s obzirom na rast kamatnih stopa, visoku inflaciju, usporavanje rasta gospodarstva i poremećaje u nabavnim lancima.
I na europskim su burzama cijene dionica jučer pale. Londonski FTSE indeks oslabio je 0,74 posto, na 7.156 bodova, dok je frankfurtski DAX skliznuo 1,16 posto, na 12.756 bodova, a pariški CAC 0,73 posto, na 6.000 bodova.

Na Wall Streetu su burzovni indeksi pali i u srijedu, treći dan zaredom, jer je ulagače neugodno iznenadio podatak da je inflacija u SAD-u dosegnula 9,1 posto, najvišu razinu od 1981. godine.
Dow Jones oslabio je 208 bodova ili 0,67 posto, na 30.772 boda, dok je S&P 500 skliznuo 0,45 posto, na 3.801 bod, a Nasdaq indeks 0,15 posto, na 11.247 bodova.
Tijekom trgovanja ti su indeksi bili u minusu i više od 1 posto jer je ulagače šokirao podatak da je inflacija u SAD-u u lipnju dosegnula 9,1 posto, novu najvišu razinu u više od 40 godina.
Analitičari su očekivali rast inflacije s 8,6 posto, koliko je iznosila u svibnju, na 8,8 posto, pa je ovaj podatak učvrstio uvjerenje na tržištu da će američka središnja banka u srpnju povećati ključne kamatne stope za agresivnih 0,75 postotnih bodova.
Neki sada čak špekuliraju da bi Fed mogao podignuti kamate za cijeli postotni bod.
U nastojanju da suzbije inflaciju, američka središnja banka povećala je od početka godine ključne kamate u raspon od 1,5 do 1,75 posto, a morat će i dalje agresivno podizati cijenu novca.
Zbog toga se rast gospodarstva usporava, a pitanje je samo hoće li Fed uspjeti 'mekano' prizemljiti gospodarstvo ili ga gurnuti u recesiju.
„Mislim da je recesija neizbježna. Fed će morati biti agresivan kratkoročno i spustiti potražnju, a to vodi u recesiju”, kaže Liz Ann Sonders iz tvrtke Charles Schwab.
Ipak, u drugom dijelu trgovanja burzovni su indeksi ublažili gubitke.
„Nakon ovakvog izvješća o inflaciji, očekivali biste veliko povlačenje iz rizičnih investicija, no tržište se nakon početnog pada smirilo. Mislim da je to zbog toga što ulagači ionako već od prije očekuju agresivno povećanje kamata Feda”, kaže Ross Mayfield, analitičar u tvrtki Baird.
U fokusu ulagača bit će idućih dana kvartalni poslovni rezultati kompanija.
U anketi Reutersa analitičari procjenjuju da su kompanije iz sastava S&P 500 indeksa u drugom tromjesečju ostvarile rast zarada za 5,7 posto u odnosu na isto lanjsko razdoblje, što bi bio znatno manji rast nego u prethodnim kvartalima.
Osim rezultata, ulagači će pažljivo analizirati i procjene kompanija o daljnjem poslovanju, s obzirom na rast kamatnih stopa, visoku inflaciju, usporavanje rasta gospodarstva i poremećaje u nabavnim lancima.
I na europskim su burzama cijene dionica jučer pale. Londonski FTSE indeks oslabio je 0,74 posto, na 7.156 bodova, dok je frankfurtski DAX skliznuo 1,16 posto, na 12.756 bodova, a pariški CAC 0,73 posto, na 6.000 bodova.
