Ruski internetski gigant Yandex u srijedu je javnosti predstavio svoj prvi pametni telefon u sklopu nastojanja obrane udjela u matičnom ruskom tržištu od prodora divova poput Googlea, Applea i Samsunga.
Kompanija koja stoji iza najčešće korištene internetske tražilice u Rusiji i na području nekadašnjeg Sovjetskog Saveza u posljednje vrijeme nastoji proširiti poslovanje na nova područja kako bi obranila tržišni udio od Googlea. Kreirali su tako telefonske aplikacije za naručivanje taksija i hrane.
Njihov novi pametni telefon Yandex.Phone bit će pušten u prodaju u četvrtak u Rusiji, a bit će dostupan i u internetskoj prodaji. Stajat će 17.990 rubalja (269 dolara) a kao operativni sustav koristit će Android.
Projektirao ga je Yandex a proizveden je u Kini.
Uređaj ima instalirane Yandexove aplikacije za plaćanje, glazbu, karte, naručivanje taksija i hrane, te 'sekretaricu' Alisu, sličnu Amazonovoj Alexi.
"Napravili smo Yandex.Phone kako bismo ruskim korisnicima ponudili pametni telefon opremljen svim lokaliziranim alatima koji korisnicima olakšavaju obavljanje svakodnevnih rutinskih poslova", izjavio je u priopćenju Fjodor Ježov iz Yandexa.
"Na pametnom su telefonu Yandexove aplikacije predstavljene u obliku ekosustava s Alisom u središtu. Za rješavanje zadaća nije potrebno otvarati pojedinačne aplikacije - samo pitajte Alisu", pojasnio je Ježov.
Telefon predstavlja novu veliku fazu u razvoju Yandexa koji njime želi konkurirati divovima poput Applea, Samsunga i Huaweija.
Yandex je ušao u upotrebu devedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća kao tražilica slična Googleu a u međuvremenu se proširio na sve dijelove ruskog Interneta preko aplikacija koje Rusi koriste svakodnevno.
Yandexov telefon nije prvi kojeg je razvila neka ruska kompanija. Tu poziciju drži YotaPhone kojeg je 2013. godine lansirala ruska tvrtka Wonderful a također se proizvodi u Kini. Njegova su posebna karakteristika bili zasloni na obje strane telefona, što ipak nije bilo dovoljno za značajniji odaziv na tržištu.
Yandex je puno utjecajnija kompanija od Wonderfula, njegove su dionice uvrštene u kotaciju Njujorške burze a poznat je po sklonosti kreativnim rješenjima, napominje agencija AFP.

Ruski internetski gigant Yandex u srijedu je javnosti predstavio svoj prvi pametni telefon u sklopu nastojanja obrane udjela u matičnom ruskom tržištu od prodora divova poput Googlea, Applea i Samsunga.
Kompanija koja stoji iza najčešće korištene internetske tražilice u Rusiji i na području nekadašnjeg Sovjetskog Saveza u posljednje vrijeme nastoji proširiti poslovanje na nova područja kako bi obranila tržišni udio od Googlea. Kreirali su tako telefonske aplikacije za naručivanje taksija i hrane.
Njihov novi pametni telefon Yandex.Phone bit će pušten u prodaju u četvrtak u Rusiji, a bit će dostupan i u internetskoj prodaji. Stajat će 17.990 rubalja (269 dolara) a kao operativni sustav koristit će Android.
Projektirao ga je Yandex a proizveden je u Kini.
Uređaj ima instalirane Yandexove aplikacije za plaćanje, glazbu, karte, naručivanje taksija i hrane, te 'sekretaricu' Alisu, sličnu Amazonovoj Alexi.
"Napravili smo Yandex.Phone kako bismo ruskim korisnicima ponudili pametni telefon opremljen svim lokaliziranim alatima koji korisnicima olakšavaju obavljanje svakodnevnih rutinskih poslova", izjavio je u priopćenju Fjodor Ježov iz Yandexa.
"Na pametnom su telefonu Yandexove aplikacije predstavljene u obliku ekosustava s Alisom u središtu. Za rješavanje zadaća nije potrebno otvarati pojedinačne aplikacije - samo pitajte Alisu", pojasnio je Ježov.
Telefon predstavlja novu veliku fazu u razvoju Yandexa koji njime želi konkurirati divovima poput Applea, Samsunga i Huaweija.
Yandex je ušao u upotrebu devedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća kao tražilica slična Googleu a u međuvremenu se proširio na sve dijelove ruskog Interneta preko aplikacija koje Rusi koriste svakodnevno.
Yandexov telefon nije prvi kojeg je razvila neka ruska kompanija. Tu poziciju drži YotaPhone kojeg je 2013. godine lansirala ruska tvrtka Wonderful a također se proizvodi u Kini. Njegova su posebna karakteristika bili zasloni na obje strane telefona, što ipak nije bilo dovoljno za značajniji odaziv na tržištu.
Yandex je puno utjecajnija kompanija od Wonderfula, njegove su dionice uvrštene u kotaciju Njujorške burze a poznat je po sklonosti kreativnim rješenjima, napominje agencija AFP.
