Američka kompanija za usluge prijevoza Uber kupila je aplikaciju za dostavu hrane Postmates u dogovoru vrijednom gotovo tri milijarde dolara, prenosi Bloomberg.

Pandemija koronavirusa snažno je utjecala na poslovanje Ubera koji je u svibnju otpustio četvrtinu radnika i premjestio je težište na uslugu dostave hrane Uber Eats.

Uber je početkom godine izvijestio o kvartalnom gubitku od gotovo tri milijarde dolara a u travnju su mu prihodi od taksiranja pali oko 80 posto. Usluga dostave hrane bilježila je pak snažan rast prihoda.

Odlučili su stoga kupiti američku aplikaciju za dostavu hrane Grubhub, za šest milijardi dolara, ali je ponuda odbijena. Kasnije je Grubhub kupio Uberov europski konkurent Just Eat Takeaway.

Pozivajući se na upućene izvore, Bloomberg sada piše da će tokom dana Uber izvijestiti da je kupio za aplikaciju za dostavu hrane Postmates za 2,65 milijardi dolara.

Transakcija bi ojačala Uber i pomogla devet godina starom Postmatesu koji se trenutno teško nosi s konkurencijom, prema pisanju New York Timesa.

Ni u Uberu ni u Postmatesu nisu komentirali informaciju o mogućem sporazumu.

Američka kompanija za usluge prijevoza Uber kupila je aplikaciju za dostavu hrane Postmates u dogovoru vrijednom gotovo tri milijarde dolara, prenosi Bloomberg.

Pandemija koronavirusa snažno je utjecala na poslovanje Ubera koji je u svibnju otpustio četvrtinu radnika i premjestio je težište na uslugu dostave hrane Uber Eats.

Uber je početkom godine izvijestio o kvartalnom gubitku od gotovo tri milijarde dolara a u travnju su mu prihodi od taksiranja pali oko 80 posto. Usluga dostave hrane bilježila je pak snažan rast prihoda.

Odlučili su stoga kupiti američku aplikaciju za dostavu hrane Grubhub, za šest milijardi dolara, ali je ponuda odbijena. Kasnije je Grubhub kupio Uberov europski konkurent Just Eat Takeaway.

Pozivajući se na upućene izvore, Bloomberg sada piše da će tokom dana Uber izvijestiti da je kupio za aplikaciju za dostavu hrane Postmates za 2,65 milijardi dolara.

Transakcija bi ojačala Uber i pomogla devet godina starom Postmatesu koji se trenutno teško nosi s konkurencijom, prema pisanju New York Timesa.

Ni u Uberu ni u Postmatesu nisu komentirali informaciju o mogućem sporazumu.
