Najbolje rangirana hrvatska tenisačica Petra Martić (39. na WTA listi) i drugi njemački reket Eva Lys (123.) otvorit će susret doigravanja Billie Jean King Cupa u Rijeci u petak u 16 sati. Tako je odlučio ždrijeb, napravljen u četvrtak u Guvernerovoj palači u Rijeci, a istovremeno je određen program za oba dana.

Nakon Martić i Lys na igralište će Donna Vekić (69.) i Jule Niemeier (61.), a u subotu (14 sati) raspored je obrnut. Martić protiv Niemeier, Vekić protiv Lys, te na kraju Ana Konjuh i Petra Martić protiv Anna-Lene Friedsam i Laure Siegemund.

„Praktički ništa ne znam o suparnici. Nikad nisam igrala protiv nje, nisam ju ni gledala. No Ana Konjuh je igrala protiv nje prošlog tjedna, pa će sigurno imati koji dobar avjet za nas“, rekla je Petra. Na pitanje hoće li nazvati i Aninog trenera Antonija Veića, odličnog za analizu suparnika, dodala je: “Definitivno. Sigurna sam da i Iva ima tu informaciju, pa ćemo sutra ujutro sjesti pred meč i složiti taktiku.“

Petra će imat status prve igračice, što donosi očekivanje osvajanja boda protiv druge njemačke tenisačice. Je li to dodatni pritisak?

„Očekivanja su uvijek tu, koji god meč igraš. Ako ne osjećaš pritisak onda nema smisla ni ići na teren. No to je više uzbuđenje i stvarno se veselim da ću izaći pred hrvatsku publiku nakon toliko godina.“

Suparnica Donne Vekić je igračica koja se ove sezone odlično osjeća u Hrvatskoj, jer je osvojila WTA 125 u Makarskoj i Zagreb Ladies Open.

„Da, to stoji, ali sad ćemo joj prekinuti pretplatu na uspjehe u Hrvatskoj. Veselim se sutrašnjem meču, nadam se velikoj podršci publike i imamo pozitivan stav. Napravit ćemo dobar plan i taktiku s izbornicom, vjerujem da neće biti iznenađenja“, rekla je Donna Vekić, koja je prije nepunih mjesec dana bila finalistica jakog WTA turnira u San Diegu, gdje je svladala i dvije igračice plasirane među deset najboljih na svijetu. Je li ta forma zadržana? „Vjerujem da je ostalo, da se dobra igra nastavi i ovog vikenda.“

Prijenos svih mečeva iz dvorane Zamet bit će na Sportskoj televiziji.

Najbolje rangirana hrvatska tenisačica Petra Martić (39. na WTA listi) i drugi njemački reket Eva Lys (123.) otvorit će susret doigravanja Billie Jean King Cupa u Rijeci u petak u 16 sati. Tako je odlučio ždrijeb, napravljen u četvrtak u Guvernerovoj palači u Rijeci, a istovremeno je određen program za oba dana.

Nakon Martić i Lys na igralište će Donna Vekić (69.) i Jule Niemeier (61.), a u subotu (14 sati) raspored je obrnut. Martić protiv Niemeier, Vekić protiv Lys, te na kraju Ana Konjuh i Petra Martić protiv Anna-Lene Friedsam i Laure Siegemund.

„Praktički ništa ne znam o suparnici. Nikad nisam igrala protiv nje, nisam ju ni gledala. No Ana Konjuh je igrala protiv nje prošlog tjedna, pa će sigurno imati koji dobar avjet za nas“, rekla je Petra. Na pitanje hoće li nazvati i Aninog trenera Antonija Veića, odličnog za analizu suparnika, dodala je: “Definitivno. Sigurna sam da i Iva ima tu informaciju, pa ćemo sutra ujutro sjesti pred meč i složiti taktiku.“

Petra će imat status prve igračice, što donosi očekivanje osvajanja boda protiv druge njemačke tenisačice. Je li to dodatni pritisak?

„Očekivanja su uvijek tu, koji god meč igraš. Ako ne osjećaš pritisak onda nema smisla ni ići na teren. No to je više uzbuđenje i stvarno se veselim da ću izaći pred hrvatsku publiku nakon toliko godina.“

Suparnica Donne Vekić je igračica koja se ove sezone odlično osjeća u Hrvatskoj, jer je osvojila WTA 125 u Makarskoj i Zagreb Ladies Open.

„Da, to stoji, ali sad ćemo joj prekinuti pretplatu na uspjehe u Hrvatskoj. Veselim se sutrašnjem meču, nadam se velikoj podršci publike i imamo pozitivan stav. Napravit ćemo dobar plan i taktiku s izbornicom, vjerujem da neće biti iznenađenja“, rekla je Donna Vekić, koja je prije nepunih mjesec dana bila finalistica jakog WTA turnira u San Diegu, gdje je svladala i dvije igračice plasirane među deset najboljih na svijetu. Je li ta forma zadržana? „Vjerujem da je ostalo, da se dobra igra nastavi i ovog vikenda.“

U Rijeci održan ždrijeb, Martić otvara protiv Lys: ‘Praktički ništa ne znam o suparnici‘

Najbolje rangirana hrvatska tenisačica Petra Martić (39. na WTA listi) i drugi njemački reket Eva Lys (123.) otvorit će susret doigravanja Billie Jean King Cupa u Rijeci u petak u 16 sati. Tako je odlučio ždrijeb, napravljen u četvrtak u Guvernerovoj palači u Rijeci, a istovremeno je određen program za oba dana.

Nakon Martić i Lys na igralište će Donna Vekić (69.) i Jule Niemeier (61.), a u subotu (14 sati) raspored je obrnut. Martić protiv Niemeier, Vekić protiv Lys, te na kraju Ana Konjuh i Petra Martić protiv Anna-Lene Friedsam i Laure Siegemund.

„Praktički ništa ne znam o suparnici. Nikad nisam igrala protiv nje, nisam ju ni gledala. No Ana Konjuh je igrala protiv nje prošlog tjedna, pa će sigurno imati koji dobar avjet za nas“, rekla je Petra. Na pitanje...
