Dok je veći dio svijeta još uvijek u "zagrljaju" koronavirusa, ljubitelji tenisa u Australiji moći će se vratiti na tribine na prvom Grand Slam turniru sezone, Australian Openu koji će započeti 8. veljače, tri tjedna kasnije nego inače.

Naime, lokalne zdravstvene vlasti odobrile su do 30.000 gledatelja dnevno u prvih osam dana turnira, te do 25.000 od četvrtfinala, što je približno polovica prosječne posjećenosti posljednih godina.

- Ovo će biti najvažniji međunarodni događaj s gledateljima koji će svijet moći pratiti nakon mnogo mjeseci - rekao je ministar sporta Martin Pakula.

- To znači da ćemo u Rod Laver Areni, kako se približavamo kraju turnira, imati nevjerojatnu atmosferu koja se neće razlikovati od atmosfere koju smo vidjeli tijekom godina - rekao je ministar.

Državna vlada rekla je da će se provoditi "rigorozne" mjere kontrole i prevencije infekcije.

Gotovo 1.000 igrača i djelatnika Australian Opena provelo je proteklih 14 dana u karanteni

- Tijekom turnira u Melbourne Parku imat ćemo ukupno do 390.000 ljudi, oko 50 posto prosjeka u posljednjih nekoliko godina - rekao je Pakula.

Grand Slam u Melbourneu započet će 8. veljače, tri tjedna kasnije nego inače zbog pandemije koronavirusa.

Trenutačno postoje samo 23 aktivna slučaja zaraženih s infekcijom covida-19 širom Viktorije, a samo je jedan novi slučaj otkriven u posljednja 24 sata. Pakula je rekao da slučaj nije povezan s Australian Openom i da je zaražena osoba već bila u hotelskoj karanteni.

Nti jedan lokalni slučaj Covida-19 nije zabilježen u Victoriji 24. dan zaredom.

Dok je veći dio svijeta još uvijek u "zagrljaju" koronavirusa, ljubitelji tenisa u Australiji moći će se vratiti na tribine na prvom Grand Slam turniru sezone, Australian Openu koji će započeti 8. veljače, tri tjedna kasnije nego inače.

Naime, lokalne zdravstvene vlasti odobrile su do 30.000 gledatelja dnevno u prvih osam dana turnira, te do 25.000 od četvrtfinala, što je približno polovica prosječne posjećenosti posljednih godina.

- Ovo će biti najvažniji međunarodni događaj s gledateljima koji će svijet moći pratiti nakon mnogo mjeseci - rekao je ministar sporta Martin Pakula.

- To znači da ćemo u Rod Laver Areni, kako se približavamo kraju turnira, imati nevjerojatnu atmosferu koja se neće razlikovati od atmosfere koju smo vidjeli tijekom godina - rekao je ministar.

Državna vlada rekla je da će se provoditi "rigorozne" mjere kontrole i prevencije infekcije.

Gotovo 1.000 igrača i djelatnika Australian Opena provelo je proteklih 14 dana u karanteni

- Tijekom turnira u Melbourne Parku imat ćemo ukupno do 390.000 ljudi, oko 50 posto prosjeka u posljednjih nekoliko godina - rekao je Pakula.

Grand Slam u Melbourneu započet će 8. veljače, tri tjedna kasnije nego inače zbog pandemije koronavirusa.

Trenutačno postoje samo 23 aktivna slučaja zaraženih s infekcijom covida-19 širom Viktorije, a samo je jedan novi slučaj otkriven u posljednja 24 sata. Pakula je rekao da slučaj nije povezan s Australian Openom i da je zaražena osoba već bila u hotelskoj karanteni.

Nti jedan lokalni slučaj Covida-19 nije zabilježen u Victoriji 24. dan zaredom.

Dok je veći dio svijeta još uvijek u "zagrljaju" koronavirusa, ljubitelji tenisa u Australiji moći će se vratiti na tribine na prvom Grand Slam turniru sezone, Australian Openu koji će započeti 8. veljače, tri tjedna kasnije nego inače.

Naime, lokalne zdravstvene vlasti odobrile su do 30.000 gledatelja dnevno u prvih osam dana turnira, te do 25.000 od četvrtfinala, što je približno polovica prosječne posjećenosti posljednih godina.

- Ovo će biti najvažniji međunarodni događaj s gledateljima koji će svijet moći pratiti nakon mnogo mjeseci - rekao je ministar sporta Martin Pakula.

- To znači da ćemo u Rod Laver Areni, kako se približavamo kraju turnira, imati nevjerojatnu atmosferu koja se neće razlikovati od atmosfere koju smo vidjeli tijekom godina - rekao je...
