Jednoj od najuspješnijih tenisačica svih vremena, 66-godišnjoj Martini Navratilovoj, liječnici su dijagnosticirali rak grla i dojke, koji je još uvijek u ranoj fazi.

Nekadašnja najbolja tenisačica svijeta i osvajačica 59 Grand Slam naslova u pojedinačnoj i konkurenciji parova, već je 2010. prošla liječenje raka dojke koji joj je također bio dijagnosticiran u ranoj fazi.

"Ovaj dvostruki udarac je ozbiljan, ali je još uvijek rješiv, i nadam se povoljnom ishodu. Neko vrijeme će biti neugodno, ali borit ću se svim raspoloživim sredstvima", izjavila je Navratilova koja zbog bolesti neće otputovati na Australian Open, gdje je trebala raditi kao stručna sukomentatorica u programu Tennis Channela.

"Prognoze su dobre i Martina će ovaj mjesec započeti s liječenjem. Radi se o karcinomu tipa HPV, a za taj tip raka postoje efikasne metode liječenja", priopćili su predstavnici slavne tenisačice.

"Martina je primjetila zadebljani limfni čvor na vratu u vrijeme odigravanja WTA Finala u Forth Worthu. Kako se oteklina nije povlačila, podrvgnuta je biopsiji, a nalaz je pokazao početni stadij raka grla. Liječnici su kod dijagnostičkih postupaka na vratu kod nje uočili i sumnjivu tvorbu u dojci, a pokazalo se da se isto tako radi o karcinomu koji nije povezan s onim u grlu", stoji u priopćenju.

Jednoj od najuspješnijih tenisačica svih vremena, 66-godišnjoj Martini Navratilovoj, liječnici su dijagnosticirali rak grla i dojke, koji je još uvijek u ranoj fazi.

Nekadašnja najbolja tenisačica svijeta i osvajačica 59 Grand Slam naslova u pojedinačnoj i konkurenciji parova, već je 2010. prošla liječenje raka dojke koji joj je također bio dijagnosticiran u ranoj fazi.

"Ovaj dvostruki udarac je ozbiljan, ali je još uvijek rješiv, i nadam se povoljnom ishodu. Neko vrijeme će biti neugodno, ali borit ću se svim raspoloživim sredstvima", izjavila je Navratilova koja zbog bolesti neće otputovati na Australian Open, gdje je trebala raditi kao stručna sukomentatorica u programu Tennis Channela.

"Prognoze su dobre i Martina će ovaj mjesec započeti s liječenjem. Radi se o karcinomu tipa HPV, a za taj tip raka postoje efikasne metode liječenja", priopćili su predstavnici slavne tenisačice.

"Martina je primjetila zadebljani limfni čvor na vratu u vrijeme odigravanja WTA Finala u Forth Worthu. Kako se oteklina nije povlačila, podrvgnuta je biopsiji, a nalaz je pokazao početni stadij raka grla. Liječnici su kod dijagnostičkih postupaka na vratu kod nje uočili i sumnjivu tvorbu u dojci, a pokazalo se da se isto tako radi o karcinomu koji nije povezan s onim u grlu", stoji u priopćenju.

Jednoj od najuspješnijih tenisačica svih vremena, 66-godišnjoj Martini Navratilovoj, liječnici su dijagnosticirali rak grla i dojke, koji je još uvijek u ranoj fazi.

Nekadašnja najbolja tenisačica svijeta i osvajačica 59 Grand Slam naslova u pojedinačnoj i konkurenciji parova, već je 2010. prošla liječenje raka dojke koji joj je također bio dijagnosticiran u ranoj fazi.

"Ovaj dvostruki udarac je ozbiljan, ali je još uvijek rješiv, i nadam se povoljnom ishodu. Neko vrijeme će biti neugodno, ali borit ću se svim raspoloživim sredstvima", izjavila je Navratilova koja zbog bolesti neće otputovati na Australian Open, gdje je trebala raditi kao stručna sukomentatorica u programu Tennis Channela.
