Na ovogodišnjem, 66. izdanju svečanosti dodjele "Zlatne lopte" magazina France Football, koja će se održati 17. listopada u pariškom kazalištu Chatelet, prvi put dodijelit će se i nagrada "Prix Socrates" za društvenu predanost nogometaša.

Nagradu Socrates, nazvanu po legendi brazilskog nogometa, liječniku, filozofu i predanom građaninu koji je umro 2011. godine, osnovala je monegaška nevladina organizacija Peace&Sport, koja se zalaže za mir kroz sport.

"Socrates ostaje simbol prvaka posvećenog pravednijem svijetu. Socrates je oduvijek vjerovao u mobilizirajuću i transformativnu moć sporta kako bi društvo učinio egalitarnijim. Nakon svoje karijere ostao je vrlo aktivan, podržavajući brazilsku mladež kroz nekoliko društvenih institucija. Gotovo jedanaest godina nakon njegove smrti, on ostaje simbolom prvaka posvećenog pravednijem svijetu," poručili su iz organizacije.

"Željeli smo stvoriti nagradu koja pozdravlja često nevidljivi rad nogometaša, koji se sastoji od podržavanja inicijativa u korist društvene integracije, razvoja okoliša ili pomoći populaciji u velikoj nesigurnosti ili žrtvama sukoba," dodao je Jerome Cazadieu, direktor uredništva L‘ Equipe i France Football.

Trofej će biti dodijeljen nogometašu 17. listopada tijekom ceremonije 66. Ballon d‘Or.

Ove godine će se na svečanosti dodijeliti čak sedam nagrada. Uz Socratesovu nagradu, dijelit će se i Zlatne lopte za najboljeg nogometaša i nogometašicu, zatim Kopa trofej za najboljeg igrača do 21 godine, Jašin trofej za najboljeg golmana, Gerd Muller Trophy za napadača godine, te Nagrada za klub godine.

Ballon d‘Or je godišnja nogometna nagrada koju dodjeljuje francuski časopis France Football od 1956. Između 2010. i 2015., nagrada je privremeno spojena s FIFA-inim svjetskim igračem godine, poznatom kao FIFA Ballon d‘Or. Njihova suradnja je završila 2016. Od tada Frane Football ponovo ima svoju (Ballon d‘Or), a FIFA svoju (The Best FIFA Player) nagradu.

Prvi osvajač "Zlatne lopte" bio je Englez Stanley Matthews, a jedini hrvatski nogometaš koji je dobio ovu prestižnu nagradu bio je Luka Modrić 2018. godine.

Na ovogodišnjem, 66. izdanju svečanosti dodjele "Zlatne lopte" magazina France Football, koja će se održati 17. listopada u pariškom kazalištu Chatelet, prvi put dodijelit će se i nagrada "Prix Socrates" za društvenu predanost nogometaša.

Nagradu Socrates, nazvanu po legendi brazilskog nogometa, liječniku, filozofu i predanom građaninu koji je umro 2011. godine, osnovala je monegaška nevladina organizacija Peace&Sport, koja se zalaže za mir kroz sport.

"Socrates ostaje simbol prvaka posvećenog pravednijem svijetu. Socrates je oduvijek vjerovao u mobilizirajuću i transformativnu moć sporta kako bi društvo učinio egalitarnijim. Nakon svoje karijere ostao je vrlo aktivan, podržavajući brazilsku mladež kroz nekoliko društvenih institucija. Gotovo jedanaest godina nakon njegove smrti, on ostaje simbolom prvaka posvećenog pravednijem svijetu," poručili su iz organizacije.

"Željeli smo stvoriti nagradu koja pozdravlja često nevidljivi rad nogometaša, koji se sastoji od podržavanja inicijativa u korist društvene integracije, razvoja okoliša ili pomoći populaciji u velikoj nesigurnosti ili žrtvama sukoba," dodao je Jerome Cazadieu, direktor uredništva L‘ Equipe i France Football.

Trofej će biti dodijeljen nogometašu 17. listopada tijekom ceremonije 66. Ballon d‘Or.

Ove godine će se na svečanosti dodijeliti čak sedam nagrada. Uz Socratesovu nagradu, dijelit će se i Zlatne lopte za najboljeg nogometaša i nogometašicu, zatim Kopa trofej za najboljeg igrača do 21 godine, Jašin trofej za najboljeg golmana, Gerd Muller Trophy za napadača godine, te Nagrada za klub godine.

Ballon d‘Or je godišnja nogometna nagrada koju dodjeljuje francuski časopis France Football od 1956. Između 2010. i 2015., nagrada je privremeno spojena s FIFA-inim svjetskim igračem godine, poznatom kao FIFA Ballon d‘Or. Njihova suradnja je završila 2016. Od tada Frane Football ponovo ima svoju (Ballon d‘Or), a FIFA svoju (The Best FIFA Player) nagradu.

Prvi osvajač "Zlatne lopte" bio je Englez Stanley Matthews, a jedini hrvatski nogometaš koji je dobio ovu prestižnu nagradu bio je Luka Modrić 2018. godine.

Na ‘Zlatnoj lopti‘ prvi put dodijelit će se i nagrada ‘Prix Socrates‘ za društvenu predanost nogometaša

Na ovogodišnjem, 66. izdanju svečanosti dodjele "Zlatne lopte" magazina France Football, koja će se održati 17. listopada u pariškom kazalištu Chatelet, prvi put dodijelit će se i nagrada "Prix Socrates" za društvenu predanost nogometaša.

Nagradu Socrates, nazvanu po legendi brazilskog nogometa, liječniku, filozofu i predanom građaninu koji je umro 2011. godine, osnovala je monegaška nevladina organizacija Peace&Sport, koja se zalaže za mir kroz sport.

"Socrates ostaje simbol prvaka posvećenog pravednijem svijetu. Socrates je oduvijek vjerovao u mobilizirajuću i transformativnu moć sporta kako bi društvo učinio egalitarnijim. Nakon svoje karijere ostao je vrlo aktivan, podržavajući brazilsku mladež kroz nekoliko društvenih institucija. Gotovo jedanaest godina...
