Hrvatski rukometni reprezentativac Luka Šebetić prešao je u srijedu iz ukrajinskog Motor Zaporožja u španjolskog prvoligaša Viver Herol Navu, a u  razgovoru za Hinu ispričao je kako je automobilom napustio ratom pogođenu Ukrajinu.

Šebetić je prošlo ljeto iz francuskog Tremblaya stigao u Zaporožje, grad sa 716.000 stanovnika na jugoistoku Ukrajine. S Motorom je potpisao ugovor na dvije godine.

"Bio sam jako zadovoljan u Motoru. Igrali smo Ligu prvaka, borili se prolaz dosta jake skupine, sve je bilo na svom mjestu", kaže 27-godišnji desni vanjski igrač.

Sve se promijenilo 24. veljače kada je Rusija pokrenula invaziju na Ukrajinu. Tog dana se Šebetić vraćao sa suigračima iz susjedne Poljske gdje su igrali utakmicu Lige prvaka s Kielcem. Sletjeli su na aerodrom u glavnom gradu Kijevu.

"Taj dan sam čuo bombardiranje. Rekli su nam da je bombardiran dio aerodroma", kaže Šebetić.

Isti dan je zaustavljeno ukrajinsko prvenstvo, a deseci rukometaša našli su se u neizvjesnoj situaciji. Idući dan su se u Zaporožju začule sirene za opasnost pa je 198 centimetara visoki igrač završio u skloništu s ostalim građanima.

"Atmosfera je bila loša", napominje.

Što je duže protjecalo vrijeme u skloništu postajalo je sve izvjesnije da mu je utakmica s Kielcem bila posljednja u dresu Motora. Zabio je 27 golova u 11 susreta Lige prvaka no sport je prestao postojati u gradu na rijeci Dnjepar. 

Šebetić je idući dan, 26. veljače, krenuo automobilom prema Kijevu. Uz njega su bili djeca, supruga i njen otac.  

"S obzirom na situaciju stalo bi još deset osoba da je trebalo", kaže osmjehujući se nevoljko.

Vojne patrole su zaustavile automobil nekoliko puta no nije bilo problema. Nastavili su prema granici pa u večernjim satima ušli u Moldaviju. Odande su krenuli prema Hrvatskoj.

U Zagrebu, gdje je igrao od 2010. do 2017. godine, čekao je rasplet situacije.

"Nakon što je Svjetska rukometna federacija (IHF) odlučila da smijemo potpisati ugovore s drugim klubovima do kraja sezone, dobivao sam informacije da su neki zainteresirani za mene", kaže ljevoruki šuter. "Odlučio sam se za Navu. Dobio sam preporuke za njihovog trenera", dodaje iz stana u Zagrebu gdje se priprema za putovanje prema Španjolskoj.

Nava je klub iz mjesta Nava de Asunción koje ima nešto manje od 3.000 stanovnika, a nalazi se pored grada Segovije u središnjem dijelu zemlje.

"Letim u nedjelju za Madrid. Tamo će me dočekati ljudi iz kluba i prevesti do Nave", objašnjava. S njima je dogovorio suradnju do kraja sezone pa se nada "bolje upoznati španjolski stil rukometa i ostati u formi".

Nava zauzima 10. mjesto među 16 klubova u prvenstvu, a u srijedu je uprava priopćila kako je iskoristila situaciju za dovođenje igrača najviše razine.

Šebetić, koji je s Hrvatskom osvojio brončanu medalju na Europskom prvenstvu 2016. u Poljskoj, prošli tjedan je boravio s reprezentacijom na pripremama u Varaždinu. Hrvatska će u travnju igrati protiv Finske kvalifikacijske utakmice za odlazak na Svjetsko prvenstvo. Finska je prethodno trebala igrati s Ukrajinom koja je odustala.

"U našoj reprezentaciji je odlična atmosfera. Dobro smo trenirali pa sada čekamo kvalifikacije s Finskom", ističe Šebetić.

Dok U Zagrebu sprema stvari, prati događanja u Ukrajini.

"Koliko čujem, Zaporožje je relativno dobro u usporedbi s nekim drugim gradovima", napominje. Njegovi suigrači iz Motora izašli su iz Ukrajine prošli vikend preko reprezentacije, a u gradu su ostali tek liječnik ekipe i kondicijski trener.

"Ne znam što je s njima", ističe Šebetić. "Baš sam ih sada zvao no nisam ih uspio dobiti. Doista se nadam da su dobro...", dodaje zabrinuto.

Hrvatski rukometaš nije rekao zbogom Motoru, ali ne zna hoće li se moći vratiti na parket njegove dvorane.

"Zasad i dalje imam ugovor s Motorom za iduću sezonu, no u ovom trenutku ne znam što će biti s time", zaključio je.

Hrvatski rukometni reprezentativac Luka Šebetić prešao je u srijedu iz ukrajinskog Motor Zaporožja u španjolskog prvoligaša Viver Herol Navu, a u  razgovoru za Hinu ispričao je kako je automobilom napustio ratom pogođenu Ukrajinu.

Šebetić je prošlo ljeto iz francuskog Tremblaya stigao u Zaporožje, grad sa 716.000 stanovnika na jugoistoku Ukrajine. S Motorom je potpisao ugovor na dvije godine.

"Bio sam jako zadovoljan u Motoru. Igrali smo Ligu prvaka, borili se prolaz dosta jake skupine, sve je bilo na svom mjestu", kaže 27-godišnji desni vanjski igrač.

Sve se promijenilo 24. veljače kada je Rusija pokrenula invaziju na Ukrajinu. Tog dana se Šebetić vraćao sa suigračima iz susjedne Poljske gdje su igrali utakmicu Lige prvaka s Kielcem. Sletjeli su na aerodrom u glavnom gradu Kijevu.

"Taj dan sam čuo bombardiranje. Rekli su nam da je bombardiran dio aerodroma", kaže Šebetić.

Isti dan je zaustavljeno ukrajinsko prvenstvo, a deseci rukometaša našli su se u neizvjesnoj situaciji. Idući dan su se u Zaporožju začule sirene za opasnost pa je 198 centimetara visoki igrač završio u skloništu s ostalim građanima.

"Atmosfera je bila loša", napominje.

Što je duže protjecalo vrijeme u skloništu postajalo je sve izvjesnije da mu je utakmica s Kielcem bila posljednja u dresu Motora. Zabio je 27 golova u 11 susreta Lige prvaka no sport je prestao postojati u gradu na rijeci Dnjepar. 

Šebetić je idući dan, 26. veljače, krenuo automobilom prema Kijevu. Uz njega su bili djeca, supruga i njen otac.  

"S obzirom na situaciju stalo bi još deset osoba da je trebalo", kaže osmjehujući se nevoljko.

Vojne patrole su zaustavile automobil nekoliko puta no nije bilo problema. Nastavili su prema granici pa u večernjim satima ušli u Moldaviju. Odande su krenuli prema Hrvatskoj.

U Zagrebu, gdje je igrao od 2010. do 2017. godine, čekao je rasplet situacije.

"Nakon što je Svjetska rukometna federacija (IHF) odlučila da smijemo potpisati ugovore s drugim klubovima do kraja sezone, dobivao sam informacije da su neki zainteresirani za mene", kaže ljevoruki šuter. "Odlučio sam se za Navu. Dobio sam preporuke za njihovog trenera", dodaje iz stana u Zagrebu gdje se priprema za putovanje prema Španjolskoj.

Nava je klub iz mjesta Nava de Asunción koje ima nešto manje od 3.000 stanovnika, a nalazi se pored grada Segovije u središnjem dijelu zemlje.

"Letim u nedjelju za Madrid. Tamo će me dočekati ljudi iz kluba i prevesti do Nave", objašnjava. S njima je dogovorio suradnju do kraja sezone pa se nada "bolje upoznati španjolski stil rukometa i ostati u formi".

Nava zauzima 10. mjesto među 16 klubova u prvenstvu, a u srijedu je uprava priopćila kako je iskoristila situaciju za dovođenje igrača najviše razine.

Šebetić, koji je s Hrvatskom osvojio brončanu medalju na Europskom prvenstvu 2016. u Poljskoj, prošli tjedan je boravio s reprezentacijom na pripremama u Varaždinu. Hrvatska će u travnju igrati protiv Finske kvalifikacijske utakmice za odlazak na Svjetsko prvenstvo. Finska je prethodno trebala igrati s Ukrajinom koja je odustala.

"U našoj reprezentaciji je odlična atmosfera. Dobro smo trenirali pa sada čekamo kvalifikacije s Finskom", ističe Šebetić.

Dok U Zagrebu sprema stvari, prati događanja u Ukrajini.

"Koliko čujem, Zaporožje je relativno dobro u usporedbi s nekim drugim gradovima", napominje. Njegovi suigrači iz Motora izašli su iz Ukrajine prošli vikend preko reprezentacije, a u gradu su ostali tek liječnik ekipe i kondicijski trener.

"Ne znam što je s njima", ističe Šebetić. "Baš sam ih sada zvao no nisam ih uspio dobiti. Doista se nadam da su dobro...", dodaje zabrinuto.

Hrvatski rukometaš nije rekao zbogom Motoru, ali ne zna hoće li se moći vratiti na parket njegove dvorane.

"Zasad i dalje imam ugovor s Motorom za iduću sezonu, no u ovom trenutku ne znam što će biti s time", zaključio je.

Luka Šebetić se u zadnji tren spasio iz pakla rata: Nadam se da su ljudi iz Zaporožja dobro

Hrvatski rukometni reprezentativac Luka Šebetić prešao je u srijedu iz ukrajinskog Motor Zaporožja u španjolskog prvoligaša Viver Herol Navu, a u  razgovoru za Hinu ispričao je kako je automobilom napustio ratom pogođenu Ukrajinu.

Šebetić je prošlo ljeto iz francuskog Tremblaya stigao u Zaporožje, grad sa 716.000 stanovnika na jugoistoku Ukrajine. S Motorom je potpisao ugovor na dvije godine.

"Bio sam jako zadovoljan u Motoru. Igrali smo Ligu prvaka, borili se prolaz dosta jake skupine, sve je bilo na svom mjestu", kaže 27-godišnji desni vanjski igrač.

Sve se promijenilo 24. veljače kada je Rusija pokrenula invaziju na Ukrajinu. Tog dana se Šebetić vraćao sa suigračima iz susjedne Poljske gdje su igrali utakmicu Lige prvaka s Kielcem. Sletjeli su na aerodrom u glavnom...
