Sve je spremno za 22. izdanje Split maratona. Ova sportska manifestacija rasla je iz godine u godinu, a ove se opet vratila u svoj originalnu termin – u veljači. Lani je, podsjetimo, zbog pandemijskih (ne)prilika održana u rujnu.
Utrka je sada već postala jednim od simbola Splita. Prepoznatljiva je u trkačkom svijetu. Brojni (polu)maratonci rado se odazivaju i dolaze trčati u Split. Čitavu organizaciju na svojim su leđima iznijeli brojni volonteri na čelu s čelnim čovjekom Kristijanom Sindikom.
Pun pogodak bilo je „raščlanjivanje” utrke. U Splitu se, sada već tradicionalno, ne trči samo maraton, već i polumaraton, a tu je i utrka od pet kilometara za trofej „Slobodne Dalmacije”, kao i štafetni maraton.
Za svakoga po nešto. Za one najspremnije tu je maraton. Ostali zaljubljenici u trčanje mogu se okušati u polumaratonu, dok se rekreativci za svoj gušt mogu okušati u borbi za trofej „Slobodne Dalmacije”.
Split je sada već na daleko poznat po prekrasnim lokacijama kroz koje se trči. Utrka zahvaća brojne znamenite lokacije, od splitske Rive i Dioklecijanove palače, do vranjičkog poluotoka s pogledom na Salonu, a prolazi i kroz samo srce Grada.
Start i cilj maraton je, dakako, na Rivi. Staza je duga 41 kilometar i 195 metara, a organizatori su namijenili 12 okrjepnih stanica te deset punktova za mjerenje prolaznog vremena. Sve trkače bit će moguće pratiti uživo na stranicama splitskog maratona.
Štafetni maraton nešto je drugačiji. Trči se u četiri izmjene: tri dionice po 10 i jedna od 12, 195 kilometara. Ostavljeno je na izbor, želite li trčati mušku, žensku ili, pak, miješanu štafetu s po dva trkača i(li) dvi trkačice.
Službeni program starta u sedam sati glazbom s razglasa. U 8 i 20 intonirat će se himna u izvedbi limene glazbe. Prigodne govore održat će direktorica Turističke zajednice grada Splita Alijana Vukšić i zamjenik gradonačelnika grada Splita Antonio Kuzmanić.
Od 8.35 zagrijavanje će voditi Ana Rogulj. Slijede opće informacije i govor zamjenika župana Splitsko-dalmatinske županije Stipe Čogelja.
Na startu se očekuje tri tisuće trkača. Točno u devet sati počinju maraton i polumaraton, Deset minuta iza počet će i utrka za trofej „Slobodne Dalmacije”. U 10.30 predviđeno je proglašenje pobjednika ove utrke. U 12.30 proglasit će se najbolji polumaratonci, a u 13 sati i maratonci.
Ne sumnjamo kako će fotografije s ovog, 22. izdanje Split maratona otići u svijet, baš kao i prethodne. Kako su i najavljivali organizatori, događaj je već prerastao granice samog sportskog natjecanja. Postao je dio turističke ponude grada Splita, ali i čitave županije. Prilika je to za dodatnu promociju Hrvatske i produživanje sezone.

Sve je spremno za 22. izdanje Split maratona. Ova sportska manifestacija rasla je iz godine u godinu, a ove se opet vratila u svoj originalnu termin – u veljači. Lani je, podsjetimo, zbog pandemijskih (ne)prilika održana u rujnu.
Utrka je sada već postala jednim od simbola Splita. Prepoznatljiva je u trkačkom svijetu. Brojni (polu)maratonci rado se odazivaju i dolaze trčati u Split. Čitavu organizaciju na svojim su leđima iznijeli brojni volonteri na čelu s čelnim čovjekom Kristijanom Sindikom.
Pun pogodak bilo je „raščlanjivanje” utrke. U Splitu se, sada već tradicionalno, ne trči samo maraton, već i polumaraton, a tu je i utrka od pet kilometara za trofej „Slobodne Dalmacije”, kao i štafetni maraton.
Za svakoga po nešto. Za one najspremnije tu je maraton. Ostali zaljubljenici u trčanje mogu se okušati u polumaratonu, dok se rekreativci za svoj gušt mogu okušati u borbi za trofej „Slobodne Dalmacije”.
Split je sada već na daleko poznat po prekrasnim lokacijama kroz koje se trči. Utrka zahvaća brojne znamenite lokacije, od splitske Rive i Dioklecijanove palače, do vranjičkog poluotoka s pogledom na Salonu, a prolazi i kroz samo srce Grada.
Start i cilj maraton je, dakako, na Rivi. Staza je duga 41 kilometar i 195 metara, a organizatori su namijenili 12 okrjepnih stanica te deset punktova za mjerenje prolaznog vremena. Sve trkače bit će moguće pratiti uživo na stranicama splitskog maratona.
Štafetni maraton nešto je drugačiji. Trči se u četiri izmjene: tri dionice po 10 i jedna od 12, 195 kilometara. Ostavljeno je na izbor, želite li trčati mušku, žensku ili, pak, miješanu štafetu s po dva trkača i(li) dvi trkačice.
Službeni program starta u sedam sati glazbom s razglasa. U 8 i 20 intonirat će se himna u izvedbi limene glazbe. Prigodne govore održat će direktorica Turističke zajednice grada Splita Alijana Vukšić i zamjenik gradonačelnika grada Splita Antonio Kuzmanić.
Od 8.35 zagrijavanje će voditi Ana Rogulj. Slijede opće informacije i govor zamjenika župana Splitsko-dalmatinske županije Stipe Čogelja.
Na startu se očekuje tri tisuće trkača. Točno u devet sati počinju maraton i polumaraton, Deset minuta iza počet će i utrka za trofej „Slobodne Dalmacije”. U 10.30 predviđeno je proglašenje pobjednika ove utrke. U 12.30 proglasit će se najbolji polumaratonci, a u 13 sati i maratonci.
Ne sumnjamo kako će fotografije s ovog, 22. izdanje Split maratona otići u svijet, baš kao i prethodne. Kako su i najavljivali organizatori, događaj je već prerastao granice samog sportskog natjecanja. Postao je dio turističke ponude grada Splita, ali i čitave županije. Prilika je to za dodatnu promociju Hrvatske i produživanje sezone.
