Mateo Žugec i Jakov Vlahek plasirali su se u finale konja s hvataljkama na Mediteranskim igrama u Oranu, dok je aktualno olimpijsko srebro, Tin Srbić, prva rezerva za finale preče.

Gimnastičari su svoj posao odradili još u ponedjeljak, u noći s ponedjeljka na utorak dobili su službene rezultate u kojima je stajalo da je Žugec finale izborio s prvoM ocjenom kvalifikacija (14.350), Vlahek sa četvrtom (14.000), a Srbić s osmom (13.350). Te rezultate potpisao je tehnički delegat FIG-e, ujedno predsjednik Tehničkog odbora muške sportske gimnastike Svjetske federacije, Arturs Mickevics, međutim, sada, večer prije finala objavljena je startna lista na kojoj je Tin Srbić deveti, odnosno prva rezerva za finale. 

Problem je nastao jer su uz Srbića istu ocjenu imali i Grk Iliopoulos i Španjolac Mir. Prema pravilima FIG-a, bolju poziciju ima onaj koji ima slabiju startnu ocjenu, a Srbić je u ovom slučaju imao veću od ovog dvojca. Međutim, službeni rezultati su došli drukčiji. Na upit Srbićevog trenera Lucijana Krcea što se događa i zašto su jedan dan službeni rezultati jedni, a onda večer kasnije izlaze drugi, Mickevics nije želio dati odgovor. Niti se ispričati, možda ponuditi opciju da zbog njegove pogreške i cijelog cirkusa oko rezultata svih devet prečaša bude u finalu, što ne bi bilo prvi put. 

"Nakon dva dana čekanja rezultata, s obzirom da je to bilo nemoguće znati odmah nakon natjecanja, kao što se to uvijek zna, prvo sam bio osmi. Ostao sam ovdje čekati finale, a sad sam na kraju deveti. Po svim pravilima je tako, ali po službenim rezultatima je izašlo da sam osmi, pa onda više ništa nismo znali, s obzirom da se u živo nikakvi rezultati nisu mogli pratiti, nikakav ranking se nije znao. Službeni delegat FIG-e je potpisao te rezultate pa smo mislili da sam u finalu i idemo odraditi još jedan nastup, a sad s obzirom da nema tog nastupa, čak i da slučajno upadnem u finale ako netko odustane, neću sigurno nastupiti u njemu jer ovo je prevršilo sve granice i nema nikakvog smisla", rekao je Srbić. 

"To je sport, nisam razočaran s devetim mjestom, stvarno sam se borio od početka do kraja vježbe jer ništa mi jednostavno nije krenulo kako sam si zamislio, ali došao sam do kraja i odradio vježbu ne onako kako znam, nego borbeno i do kraja. Ponio sam se sportski i pokazao da se uvijek treba boriti od početka do kraja i eto, to je na kraju bilo blizu finala. Jer da sam se predao ne bih bio ni blizu. Vjerojatno sad idem na avion i dalje se pripremati za Europsko prvenstvo koje je u kolovozu pa Svjetsko prvenstvo na jesen u Liverpoolu, Svjetske kupove. Ništa, idemo se pokazati u puno boljem svjetlu. Ovo je bio nastup na Gymnova preči koja mi nikako ne odgovara, ali mi je dobra priprema za SP i to je to. Dogodila se ogromna greška koja se jednostavno ne smije događati na nijednom natjecanju, a kamoli na jednim Mediteranskim igrama ili bilo čemu većem od toga, ali stvari koje ne možeš promijeniti niti utjecati na njih, ne trebaš se ni ljutiti. Idemo dalje, još jače pokazati svima da smo bolji nego što misle”, poručio je Tin Srbić.

Na žalost u sjeni ovakvog raspleta s Tinom Srbićem ostali su odlični nastupi našeg dvojca na konju s hvataljkama. Mladi Varaždinac, 20-godišnji Mateo Žugec kao najbolji se plasirao u finale, a po formi koju pokazuje posljednje vrijeme u njemu će biti jedan od favorita za vrh postolja.

Ovo je bila moja najbolja izvedba na konju s hvataljkama u karijeri. I najbolja ocjena ikada. Jako me to iznenadilo, sam sebe sam iznenadio, ali znao sam da sam u jako jako dobroj formi i da sam u stanju napravi takvu ocjenu. Nakon srebra i zlata na Svjetskim kupovima u Varni i Kopru sad još i finale Mediteranskih igara… Izvan sebe sam. Prezadovoljan sam. Ništa, u finalu idemo po medalju!”, jasno je poručio Mateo.

Oduševljenje s finalom nije krio ni Jakov Vlahek.

“Vježba je generalno bila dobra, imao sam jednu grešku koju moram ispraviti u finalu, a mimo toga sam zadovoljan. Ovo je definitivno bila moja najbolja vježba ove godine. Uživao sam natjecati ovdje, bio je baš pravi doživljaj, puna dvorana, još smo bili u rotaciji s Alžircima, bio je kaos, navijali su nevjerojatno, bilo je i pozitivnih i negativnih dovikivanja, osjećao sam se kao na nogometnom stadionu, a ne u gimnastičkoj dvorani. Za finale planiram ići ponovno 5.7 start,  veselim se nastupiti u finalu”, rekao je Jakov.

Hrvatska će sutra uz dva muška imati i tri ženska finala - Ana Đerek loviti će medalje na tlu i gredi, a Tijana Korent na preskoku.

Mateo Žugec i Jakov Vlahek plasirali su se u finale konja s hvataljkama na Mediteranskim igrama u Oranu, dok je aktualno olimpijsko srebro, Tin Srbić, prva rezerva za finale preče.

Gimnastičari su svoj posao odradili još u ponedjeljak, u noći s ponedjeljka na utorak dobili su službene rezultate u kojima je stajalo da je Žugec finale izborio s prvoM ocjenom kvalifikacija (14.350), Vlahek sa četvrtom (14.000), a Srbić s osmom (13.350). Te rezultate potpisao je tehnički delegat FIG-e, ujedno predsjednik Tehničkog odbora muške sportske gimnastike Svjetske federacije, Arturs Mickevics, međutim, sada, večer prije finala objavljena je startna lista na kojoj je Tin Srbić deveti, odnosno prva rezerva za finale. 

Problem je nastao jer su uz Srbića istu ocjenu imali i Grk Iliopoulos i Španjolac Mir. Prema pravilima FIG-a, bolju poziciju ima onaj koji ima slabiju startnu ocjenu, a Srbić je u ovom slučaju imao veću od ovog dvojca. Međutim, službeni rezultati su došli drukčiji. Na upit Srbićevog trenera Lucijana Krcea što se događa i zašto su jedan dan službeni rezultati jedni, a onda večer kasnije izlaze drugi, Mickevics nije želio dati odgovor. Niti se ispričati, možda ponuditi opciju da zbog njegove pogreške i cijelog cirkusa oko rezultata svih devet prečaša bude u finalu, što ne bi bilo prvi put. 

"Nakon dva dana čekanja rezultata, s obzirom da je to bilo nemoguće znati odmah nakon natjecanja, kao što se to uvijek zna, prvo sam bio osmi. Ostao sam ovdje čekati finale, a sad sam na kraju deveti. Po svim pravilima je tako, ali po službenim rezultatima je izašlo da sam osmi, pa onda više ništa nismo znali, s obzirom da se u živo nikakvi rezultati nisu mogli pratiti, nikakav ranking se nije znao. Službeni delegat FIG-e je potpisao te rezultate pa smo mislili da sam u finalu i idemo odraditi još jedan nastup, a sad s obzirom da nema tog nastupa, čak i da slučajno upadnem u finale ako netko odustane, neću sigurno nastupiti u njemu jer ovo je prevršilo sve granice i nema nikakvog smisla", rekao je Srbić. 

"To je sport, nisam razočaran s devetim mjestom, stvarno sam se borio od početka do kraja vježbe jer ništa mi jednostavno nije krenulo kako sam si zamislio, ali došao sam do kraja i odradio vježbu ne onako kako znam, nego borbeno i do kraja. Ponio sam se sportski i pokazao da se uvijek treba boriti od početka do kraja i eto, to je na kraju bilo blizu finala. Jer da sam se predao ne bih bio ni blizu. Vjerojatno sad idem na avion i dalje se pripremati za Europsko prvenstvo koje je u kolovozu pa Svjetsko prvenstvo na jesen u Liverpoolu, Svjetske kupove. Ništa, idemo se pokazati u puno boljem svjetlu. Ovo je bio nastup na Gymnova preči koja mi nikako ne odgovara, ali mi je dobra priprema za SP i to je to. Dogodila se ogromna greška koja se jednostavno ne smije događati na nijednom natjecanju, a kamoli na jednim Mediteranskim igrama ili bilo čemu većem od toga, ali stvari koje ne možeš promijeniti niti utjecati na njih, ne trebaš se ni ljutiti. Idemo dalje, još jače pokazati svima da smo bolji nego što misle”, poručio je Tin Srbić.

Na žalost u sjeni ovakvog raspleta s Tinom Srbićem ostali su odlični nastupi našeg dvojca na konju s hvataljkama. Mladi Varaždinac, 20-godišnji Mateo Žugec kao najbolji se plasirao u finale, a po formi koju pokazuje posljednje vrijeme u njemu će biti jedan od favorita za vrh postolja.

Ovo je bila moja najbolja izvedba na konju s hvataljkama u karijeri. I najbolja ocjena ikada. Jako me to iznenadilo, sam sebe sam iznenadio, ali znao sam da sam u jako jako dobroj formi i da sam u stanju napravi takvu ocjenu. Nakon srebra i zlata na Svjetskim kupovima u Varni i Kopru sad još i finale Mediteranskih igara… Izvan sebe sam. Prezadovoljan sam. Ništa, u finalu idemo po medalju!”, jasno je poručio Mateo.

Oduševljenje s finalom nije krio ni Jakov Vlahek.

“Vježba je generalno bila dobra, imao sam jednu grešku koju moram ispraviti u finalu, a mimo toga sam zadovoljan. Ovo je definitivno bila moja najbolja vježba ove godine. Uživao sam natjecati ovdje, bio je baš pravi doživljaj, puna dvorana, još smo bili u rotaciji s Alžircima, bio je kaos, navijali su nevjerojatno, bilo je i pozitivnih i negativnih dovikivanja, osjećao sam se kao na nogometnom stadionu, a ne u gimnastičkoj dvorani. Za finale planiram ići ponovno 5.7 start,  veselim se nastupiti u finalu”, rekao je Jakov.

Hrvatska će sutra uz dva muška imati i tri ženska finala - Ana Đerek loviti će medalje na tlu i gredi, a Tijana Korent na preskoku.

Skandal na Mediteranskim igama! Tin Srbić naknadno izbačen iz finala bez objašnjenja: ‘Ovo je prevršilo sve granice i nema nikakvog smisla‘

Mateo Žugec i Jakov Vlahek plasirali su se u finale konja s hvataljkama na Mediteranskim igrama u Oranu, dok je aktualno olimpijsko srebro, Tin Srbić, prva rezerva za finale preče.

Gimnastičari su svoj posao odradili još u ponedjeljak, u noći s ponedjeljka na utorak dobili su službene rezultate u kojima je stajalo da je Žugec finale izborio s prvoM ocjenom kvalifikacija (14.350), Vlahek sa četvrtom (14.000), a Srbić s osmom (13.350). Te rezultate potpisao je tehnički delegat FIG-e, ujedno predsjednik Tehničkog odbora muške sportske gimnastike Svjetske federacije, Arturs Mickevics, međutim, sada, večer prije finala objavljena je startna lista na kojoj je Tin Srbić deveti, odnosno prva rezerva za finale. 

Problem je nastao jer su uz Srbića istu ocjenu imali i Grk...
