Guvernerica Tokija Yuriko Koike je u četvrtak izjavila kako će možda biti potrebno organizirati "pojednostavljene" olimpijske igre sljedeće godine zbog utjecaja pandemije koronavirusa te da su organizatori već razgovarali o uvođenju eventualnih promjena.

List "Yomiuri" je objavio da organizatori razmatraju različite opcije - od obaveznog testiranja na koronavirus do manjeg broja gledatelja.

John Coates, šef inspekcije Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) za Tokio, kazao je da organizatori imaju plan za "jako različite" olimpijske igre ako COVID-19 do sljedeće godine ne bude iskorijenjen.

"Održavanje olimpijskih i paraolimpijskih igara traži suosjećanje i razumjevanje za stanovnike Tokija i za sav japanski narod", kazala je Koike.

"Zbog toga moramo biti racionalni i pojednostaviti sve što se može pojednostaviti."

List "Yomiuri" je, pozivajući se na vladine izvore i izvore unutar organizacijskog odbora, objavio da će test na koronu biti obavezan za sve gledatelje te za sportaše i trenere, a da je ograničavanje kretanja unutar i izvan olimpijskog sela jedna od opcija o kojoj se pregovara s MOO-om.

"Na ovoj razini nemamo konkretan rezultat, ali smo skloni tome da se razgovori nastave. Širenje koronavirusa je nešto što ne razumijemo u potpunosti i nemamo znanja da posve razumijemo kakva će situacija biti sljedeće godine", rekao je Takaya.

MOO i japanska vlada su u ožujku zbog pandemije donijeli zajedničku odluku da se Igre, koje su trebale početi 24. srpnja u Tokiju, prebace na sljedeću godinu. Odgode nakon 2021. su iskjučene.

Guvernerica Tokija Yuriko Koike je u četvrtak izjavila kako će možda biti potrebno organizirati "pojednostavljene" olimpijske igre sljedeće godine zbog utjecaja pandemije koronavirusa te da su organizatori već razgovarali o uvođenju eventualnih promjena.

List "Yomiuri" je objavio da organizatori razmatraju različite opcije - od obaveznog testiranja na koronavirus do manjeg broja gledatelja.

John Coates, šef inspekcije Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) za Tokio, kazao je da organizatori imaju plan za "jako različite" olimpijske igre ako COVID-19 do sljedeće godine ne bude iskorijenjen.

"Održavanje olimpijskih i paraolimpijskih igara traži suosjećanje i razumjevanje za stanovnike Tokija i za sav japanski narod", kazala je Koike.

"Zbog toga moramo biti racionalni i pojednostaviti sve što se može pojednostaviti."

List "Yomiuri" je, pozivajući se na vladine izvore i izvore unutar organizacijskog odbora, objavio da će test na koronu biti obavezan za sve gledatelje te za sportaše i trenere, a da je ograničavanje kretanja unutar i izvan olimpijskog sela jedna od opcija o kojoj se pregovara s MOO-om.

Glasnogovornik OI 2020 Masa Takaya nije potvrdio te napise, ali je naglasio kako sudionici razmatraju načine kako "optimizirati i pojednostaviti opseg i razinu usluga u priprema za Igre". 

"Na ovoj razini nemamo konkretan rezultat, ali smo skloni tome da se razgovori nastave. Širenje koronavirusa je nešto što ne razumijemo u potpunosti i nemamo znanja da posve razumijemo kakva će situacija biti sljedeće godine", rekao je Takaya.

MOO i japanska vlada su u ožujku zbog pandemije donijeli zajedničku odluku da se Igre, koje su trebale početi 24. srpnja u Tokiju, prebace na sljedeću godinu. Odgode nakon 2021. su iskjučene.

Guvernerica Tokija Yuriko Koike je u četvrtak izjavila kako će možda biti potrebno organizirati "pojednostavljene" olimpijske igre sljedeće godine zbog utjecaja pandemije koronavirusa te da su organizatori već razgovarali o uvođenju eventualnih promjena.

List "Yomiuri" je objavio da organizatori razmatraju različite opcije - od obaveznog testiranja na koronavirus do manjeg broja gledatelja.

John Coates, šef inspekcije Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) za Tokio, kazao je da organizatori imaju plan za "jako različite" olimpijske igre ako COVID-19 do sljedeće godine ne bude iskorijenjen.

"Održavanje olimpijskih i paraolimpijskih igara traži suosjećanje i razumjevanje za stanovnike Tokija i za sav japanski narod", kazala je Koike.
