Već danima naša daljinska plivačica Dina Levačić čeka u Španjolskoj kako bi se poklopili svi uvjeti potrebni za preplivavanje gibraltarskog tjesnaca

Kao da vjetar i nemirno more nisu dovoljno otegotna okolnost; Maroko još uvijek ne otvara granice za strane državljane.

Koronavirus, dakle, zadaje velike glavobolje Levačićima.

– Trenutna mogućnost da zaplivam preko tjesnaca je minimalna – javila se Dina iz Španjolske. 

– U Maroku je situacija s koronom i dalje vrlo ozbiljna, stoga ne žele otvarati granice.

Kako smo već pisali, Dina je krenula u pohod na svoj na peti od ukupno sedam plivačkih maratona, takozvanih „oceanovih sedam“. Plivajući kroz gibraltarski tjesnac spojila bi Europu i Afriku, no sada je neizvjesno hoće li se to i ostvariti. Već prije puta, Dina je na press konferenciji najavila kako kreće „na slijepo“ ne znajući hoće li Maroko ublažiti mjere. Dionica duga 15 km mogla bi tako pričekati neka sretnija vremena.

- Termin u kojem sam dobila dozvolu za plivanje ističe za nekoliko dana, a tada bi se dodatno trebale pogoršati i morske struje, tako da su šanse stvarno jako male – dodala je.

Na ruku joj ne ide ni neprestani vjetar po kojem je to područje karakteristično.

- I dalje ostajem optimistična. Ako ne ovaj put, vjerujem da ću se ponovo vratiti u nekim boljim okolnostima i preplivati gibraltarski tjesnac –zaključila je Levačić.

Iduća postaja Sjeverni kanal

Odmora za Dinu nema jer već od 10. do 16. kolovoza termin je za Sjeverni kanal između Sjeverne Irske i Škotske. Duplo je to duža i zahtjevnija dionica od one gibraltarske. Naime, na temperaturi mora od 12 Celzijevih stupnjeva pred Dinom su čak 34 kilometra. Na ovom izrazito zahtjevnom podvigu opasnost će, osim vjetra i valova, predstavljati i meduze.

Podsjetimo, 24-godišnjakinja za sobom već ima četiri najveća svjetska plivačka maratona. Svladala je prolaz Catalina u Kaliforniji, La Manche između Francuske i Engleske, Moloka’i na Havajima i Tsugaru u Japanu.

Već danima naša daljinska plivačica Dina Levačić čeka u Španjolskoj kako bi se poklopili svi uvjeti potrebni za preplivavanje gibraltarskog tjesnaca

Kao da vjetar i nemirno more nisu dovoljno otegotna okolnost; Maroko još uvijek ne otvara granice za strane državljane.

Koronavirus, dakle, zadaje velike glavobolje Levačićima.

– Trenutna mogućnost da zaplivam preko tjesnaca je minimalna – javila se Dina iz Španjolske. 

– U Maroku je situacija s koronom i dalje vrlo ozbiljna, stoga ne žele otvarati granice.

Kako smo već pisali, Dina je krenula u pohod na svoj na peti od ukupno sedam plivačkih maratona, takozvanih „oceanovih sedam“. Plivajući kroz gibraltarski tjesnac spojila bi Europu i Afriku, no sada je neizvjesno hoće li se to i ostvariti. Već prije puta, Dina je na press konferenciji najavila kako kreće „na slijepo“ ne znajući hoće li Maroko ublažiti mjere. Dionica duga 15 km mogla bi tako pričekati neka sretnija vremena.

- Termin u kojem sam dobila dozvolu za plivanje ističe za nekoliko dana, a tada bi se dodatno trebale pogoršati i morske struje, tako da su šanse stvarno jako male – dodala je.

Na ruku joj ne ide ni neprestani vjetar po kojem je to područje karakteristično.

- I dalje ostajem optimistična. Ako ne ovaj put, vjerujem da ću se ponovo vratiti u nekim boljim okolnostima i preplivati gibraltarski tjesnac –zaključila je Levačić.

Iduća postaja Sjeverni kanal

Odmora za Dinu nema jer već od 10. do 16. kolovoza termin je za Sjeverni kanal između Sjeverne Irske i Škotske. Duplo je to duža i zahtjevnija dionica od one gibraltarske. Naime, na temperaturi mora od 12 Celzijevih stupnjeva pred Dinom su čak 34 kilometra. Na ovom izrazito zahtjevnom podvigu opasnost će, osim vjetra i valova, predstavljati i meduze.

Podsjetimo, 24-godišnjakinja za sobom već ima četiri najveća svjetska plivačka maratona. Svladala je prolaz Catalina u Kaliforniji, La Manche između Francuske i Engleske, Moloka’i na Havajima i Tsugaru u Japanu.

Već danima naša daljinska plivačica Dina Levačić čeka u Španjolskoj kako bi se poklopili svi uvjeti potrebni za preplivavanje gibraltarskog tjesnaca

Kao da vjetar i nemirno more nisu dovoljno otegotna okolnost; Maroko još uvijek ne otvara granice za strane državljane.

Koronavirus, dakle, zadaje velike glavobolje Levačićima.

– Trenutna mogućnost da zaplivam preko tjesnaca je minimalna – javila se Dina iz Španjolske. 

– U Maroku je situacija s koronom i dalje vrlo ozbiljna, stoga ne žele otvarati granice.
