Aktualni svjetski prvak u reliju Francuz Sebastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris) vodeći je nakon 16 od 20 predviđenih brzinskih ispita prvog izdanja WRC Croatia Rallyja, a u posljednji dan ulazi s 6.9 sekundi prednosti pred momčadskim kolegom Britancem Elfynom Evansom te 10.4 sekundi ispred Belgijca Thierrya Neuvillea (Hyundai i20). 

Neuville je vodio nakon prvog natjecateljskog dana relija, ali je na jutarnja četiri subotnja brzinca promašio s izborom guma i već na prvom izgubio svu prednost koju je imao pred Ogierom i Evansom.

Neuvilleov zaostatak nakon jutarnja četiri brzinska ispita iznosio je 19.6 sekundi, a u poslijepodnevnom dijelu programa ga je s dvije etapne pobjede uspio prepoloviti i ponovno ući u utrku za ukupnu pobjedu s Ogierom i Evansom.

Ogier je dan započeo i završio pobjedom, što mu je popravilo raspoloženje, jer je u poslijepodnevnom dijelu dvaput na cilj stigao s probušenim gumama.

"Drago mi je da sam imao dva rezervna kotača! Mislim da je današnji rezultat doista dobar. Bez tih oštećenja guma, prednost bi bila uvjerljivija, ali kako nije, onda neću o tome govoriti. Samo trebamo tako nastaviti voziti i izbjegavati poteškoće. Bit će zabavno u nedjelju", poručio je Sebastien Ogier na kraju drugog dana. 

Nakon što je Hyundai, zahvaljujući Neuvilleu i Tanaku slavio na četiri od prvih pet brzinca, na sljedećih 11 vozači za upravljačem Toyote ostvarili su devet pobjeda. Šest puta je najbrži bio Ogier, dvaput Japanac Takamoto Katsuta, a jednom Elfyn Evans.

Došlo je do promjene i u redosliedu hrvatskih predstavnika na Croatia Rallyju. Do poslijepodnevna subotnja četiri brzinca, još uvijek je najbolju poziciju imao Krešimir Ravenščak, ali je u 15. etapi bio prisiljen odustati. Željko Magličić je već na jutarnjem, devetom brzincu imao kvar na automobilu.

Tako je kraj drugog dana kao najbolji hrvatski predstavnik dočekao Mateo Butorac na 40. mjestu sa zaostatkom od 40:06.1 minuta za Ogierom. Na 42. mjestu je Ivan Siladić (+42:24.3), a zaostatak veći od sat vremena imaju Krešimir Ravenščak na 51. mjestu, Martin Ravenščak na 52. poziciji i Željko Magličić koji je na posljednjem, 57. mjestu.

Nakon što su dva dana jurili uskim lokalnim cestama i brdovitim krajolicima Žumberačkog gorja, odnosno Zagrebačke i Karlovačke županije, pred vozačima su u nedjelju četiri brzinca na području Grada Zagreba i Krapinsko-zagorske županije.

Prvi i treći brzinac su ujedno najduži u itinereru (25,2 km), a prolaze sljemenskom cestom od Blizneca do Pila. Jutarnja akcija kreće već u 7.20 sati. Drugi i četvrti brzinac su dužine 14,09 km od Zagorskih Sela do Kumrovca, a posljednja etapa će biti i tzv. "power stage" na kojem su vozačima na raspolaganju dodatni bodovi za Svjetsko prvenstvo.

Aktualni svjetski prvak u reliju Francuz Sebastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris) vodeći je nakon 16 od 20 predviđenih brzinskih ispita prvog izdanja WRC Croatia Rallyja, a u posljednji dan ulazi s 6.9 sekundi prednosti pred momčadskim kolegom Britancem Elfynom Evansom te 10.4 sekundi ispred Belgijca Thierrya Neuvillea (Hyundai i20). 

Neuville je vodio nakon prvog natjecateljskog dana relija, ali je na jutarnja četiri subotnja brzinca promašio s izborom guma i već na prvom izgubio svu prednost koju je imao pred Ogierom i Evansom.

Neuvilleov zaostatak nakon jutarnja četiri brzinska ispita iznosio je 19.6 sekundi, a u poslijepodnevnom dijelu programa ga je s dvije etapne pobjede uspio prepoloviti i ponovno ući u utrku za ukupnu pobjedu s Ogierom i Evansom.

Ogier je dan započeo i završio pobjedom, što mu je popravilo raspoloženje, jer je u poslijepodnevnom dijelu dvaput na cilj stigao s probušenim gumama.

"Drago mi je da sam imao dva rezervna kotača! Mislim da je današnji rezultat doista dobar. Bez tih oštećenja guma, prednost bi bila uvjerljivija, ali kako nije, onda neću o tome govoriti. Samo trebamo tako nastaviti voziti i izbjegavati poteškoće. Bit će zabavno u nedjelju", poručio je Sebastien Ogier na kraju drugog dana. 

Nakon što je Hyundai, zahvaljujući Neuvilleu i Tanaku slavio na četiri od prvih pet brzinca, na sljedećih 11 vozači za upravljačem Toyote ostvarili su devet pobjeda. Šest puta je najbrži bio Ogier, dvaput Japanac Takamoto Katsuta, a jednom Elfyn Evans.

Došlo je do promjene i u redosliedu hrvatskih predstavnika na Croatia Rallyju. Do poslijepodnevna subotnja četiri brzinca, još uvijek je najbolju poziciju imao Krešimir Ravenščak, ali je u 15. etapi bio prisiljen odustati. Željko Magličić je već na jutarnjem, devetom brzincu imao kvar na automobilu.

Tako je kraj drugog dana kao najbolji hrvatski predstavnik dočekao Mateo Butorac na 40. mjestu sa zaostatkom od 40:06.1 minuta za Ogierom. Na 42. mjestu je Ivan Siladić (+42:24.3), a zaostatak veći od sat vremena imaju Krešimir Ravenščak na 51. mjestu, Martin Ravenščak na 52. poziciji i Željko Magličić koji je na posljednjem, 57. mjestu.

Nakon što su dva dana jurili uskim lokalnim cestama i brdovitim krajolicima Žumberačkog gorja, odnosno Zagrebačke i Karlovačke županije, pred vozačima su u nedjelju četiri brzinca na području Grada Zagreba i Krapinsko-zagorske županije.

Prvi i treći brzinac su ujedno najduži u itinereru (25,2 km), a prolaze sljemenskom cestom od Blizneca do Pila. Jutarnja akcija kreće već u 7.20 sati. Drugi i četvrti brzinac su dužine 14,09 km od Zagorskih Sela do Kumrovca, a posljednja etapa će biti i tzv. "power stage" na kojem su vozačima na raspolaganju dodatni bodovi za Svjetsko prvenstvo.
