Više od pola godine čekali smo odluku o novom košarkaškom izborniku, a kada je ona konačno donesena, otvorila je brojne nove polemike, silna pitanja na koja hrvatska javnost nestrpljivo čeka decidirane odgovore, a ne nemušto guranje stvari pod tepih ili izmotavanja kao na predstavljanju Josipa Sesara.

Poslije duge akcije sondiranja terena, analize potencijalnih kandidata pa njihovog intervjuiranja sportski direktor HKS-a i dosadašnji v.d. izbornika Aleksandar Petrović predložio je Upravnom odboru dva imena, Darija Gjergju koji je uspješno vodio Belgiju, te neiskusnijeg Josipa Sesara koji je od ljeta trener Cibone, inače svog dosadašnjeg pomoćnika. UO se odlučio za Sesara što je već u startu izazvalo dosta kontroverze.

Sve su dodatno zapalile Acine izjave za ‘Večernji list‘ kako je ostao šokiran izborom Sesara s obzirom da je na predstavljanju kandidata sugerirao da je njegov prvi izbor bio Gjergja. Pojasnio je kako je Sesar bio evidentan kandidat, ali da je Gjergjinim nedavnim pristankom dotični stekao njegovo veće povjerenje. Iz korektnosti je kandidatom ostavio i Sesara.

A dodatno se sve zakuhalo na predstavljanju Sesara. Petrović nije stigao zbog toga što je službeno na godišnjem odmoru. Predsjednik Saveza Nikola Rukavina tom je prigodom o spornom izboru rekao kako je UO razmatrao između predložena dva odlična kandidata te da ne vidi prepreke u nastavljanju suradnje s Petrovićem. Novi izbornik Sesar rekao da ga je Petrović od zadnje akcije zvao ‘izbornikom‘, da mu je dva-tri puta rekao da je njegov favorit.

Svaka čast Sesaru, možda bude pun pogodak, ali UO je na sebe ovim potezom preuzeo veliku odgovornost. Ako pretpostavimo da svi akteri ove zavrzlame govore istinu, ovakvo društvo teško može ostati zajedno na okupu, u ovom sastavu. Pitanja bez odgovora se gomilaju. Koja je uopće svrha struke, ako je Savez ignorira? Zašto onda uopće potrošiti više od pola godine na ‘češljanje‘ kandidata? I zbog toga nam je košarka tu gdje jest.

Više od pola godine čekali smo odluku o novom košarkaškom izborniku, a kada je ona konačno donesena, otvorila je brojne nove polemike, silna pitanja na koja hrvatska javnost nestrpljivo čeka decidirane odgovore, a ne nemušto guranje stvari pod tepih ili izmotavanja kao na predstavljanju Josipa Sesara.

Poslije duge akcije sondiranja terena, analize potencijalnih kandidata pa njihovog intervjuiranja sportski direktor HKS-a i dosadašnji v.d. izbornika Aleksandar Petrović predložio je Upravnom odboru dva imena, Darija Gjergju koji je uspješno vodio Belgiju, te neiskusnijeg Josipa Sesara koji je od ljeta trener Cibone, inače svog dosadašnjeg pomoćnika. UO se odlučio za Sesara što je već u startu izazvalo dosta kontroverze.

Sve su dodatno zapalile Acine izjave za ‘Večernji list‘ kako je ostao šokiran izborom Sesara s obzirom da je na predstavljanju kandidata sugerirao da je njegov prvi izbor bio Gjergja. Pojasnio je kako je Sesar bio evidentan kandidat, ali da je Gjergjinim nedavnim pristankom dotični stekao njegovo veće povjerenje. Iz korektnosti je kandidatom ostavio i Sesara.

A dodatno se sve zakuhalo na predstavljanju Sesara. Petrović nije stigao zbog toga što je službeno na godišnjem odmoru. Predsjednik Saveza Nikola Rukavina tom je prigodom o spornom izboru rekao kako je UO razmatrao između predložena dva odlična kandidata te da ne vidi prepreke u nastavljanju suradnje s Petrovićem. Novi izbornik Sesar rekao da ga je Petrović od zadnje akcije zvao ‘izbornikom‘, da mu je dva-tri puta rekao da je njegov favorit.

Svaka čast Sesaru, možda bude pun pogodak, ali UO je na sebe ovim potezom preuzeo veliku odgovornost. Ako pretpostavimo da svi akteri ove zavrzlame govore istinu, ovakvo društvo teško može ostati zajedno na okupu, u ovom sastavu. Pitanja bez odgovora se gomilaju. Koja je uopće svrha struke, ako je Savez ignorira? Zašto onda uopće potrošiti više od pola godine na ‘češljanje‘ kandidata? I zbog toga nam je košarka tu gdje jest.

Više od pola godine čekali smo odluku o novom košarkaškom izborniku, a kada je ona konačno donesena, otvorila je brojne nove polemike, silna pitanja na koja hrvatska javnost nestrpljivo čeka decidirane odgovore, a ne nemušto guranje stvari pod tepih ili izmotavanja kao na predstavljanju Josipa Sesara.
