Početak je godine i igrači u HNL-u se nakon dva tjedna odmora polako vraćaju svojim obvezama. Hajduk s treninzima počinje 3. siječnja, dok je Rijeka dan ranije odradila prvi trening. Rijeka otvara drugi dio sezone s dva gostovanja. Prva je zaostala utakmica protiv Gorice 24. siječnja, pa četiri dana nakon na Poljudu.

Prije nastavka domaćih obveza, Riječani će se pripremati u slovenskom Čatežu, gdje su u planu tri pripremne utakmice, s Radomljem, Sturm Grazom i Bravom. Prva pripremna utakmica je protiv Sturma, na rasporedu 12. siječnja.

Ostaje za vidjeti hoće li Rijeku u zimskom prijelaznom roku (7. siječnja - 6. veljače) napustiti netko od igrača. Većina je čvrsto  vezana ugovorima te sigurno neće napustiti Kvarner, a da Rijeka na njima pristojno ne zaradi. Zaraditi pak neće na Lindonu Selahiju, ne dođe li do velikog obrata. Albanski veznjak još uvijek ne pristaje na uvjete kluba za produženje ugovora, kao niti klub na igračeve.

Navodno je riječ o iznosu od 400 do 500 tisuća eura, čime bi postao najplaćeniji igrač Rijeke, koja takve zahtjeve ne može pratiti, piše Novi list.

Selahi takonod prvog dana nove godine ima pravo pregovarati s novim potencijalnim poslodavcima bez znanja Rijeke. Ugovor mu istječe sredinom lipnja, a kao jedna od opcija, spominje se mogućnost odlaska u redove Hajduka.

Rijeka i Selahi možda i prekinu trakavicu ove zime, nađu se negdje na "pola puta", a igrač ode uz odgovarajuću odštetu jer njegovo neigranje ne odgovara ni jednoj ni drugoj strani. Vrijednost Selahija prema Transfermarktu je dva i pol milijuna eura.

Uz Hajduk, kao jedan od zainteresiranih klubova se spominjao i Dinamo, 

U utorak je trener Rijeke Željko Sopić okupio svoju momčad, a uoči početka priprema upitan je i o situaciji sa Selahijem, koji se također našao na popisu:

- Rijeka je druga na ljestvici, borimo se za ono nešto gore i onda igraju najbolji. Ako ćemo se boriti za sedmo mjesto, javite mi se 15. ožujka, pa stavim i vas, ali sada igraju najbolji.

Selahi je na Kvarner stigao u ljeto 2021. kao slobodan igrač i ubrzo se nametnuo kao jedna od konstanti u Rijeci. Nogomet je počeo igrati u Belgiji gdje je bio član mlađih kategorija Anderlechta i Standard Liegea, a u redovima potonjih je zaigrao za seniore odakle se otisnuo za Nizozemsku gdje je bio član Twentea te proveo jednu godinu na posudbi i u Willem II.

Dosad je u Rijeci upisao gotovo 100 nastupa, točnije ima ih 91, a ove sezone propustio je samo dvije prvenstvene i jednu utakmicu u Kupu. U taktičkim postavkama Željka Sopića, prvenstveno ispretumbanima dolaskom Marka Pjace, isplivao je Selahi kao jedan od najvažnijih igrača tog sistema, koji spaja obranu i napad iza Tonija Fruka i Nike Jankovića.

Istaknuo se kao igrač sistema kod Sopića na poziciji šestice, a pokriva i poziciju osmice. Njegove defenzivne karakteristike u broju osvojenih i presječenih lopti, kao i osvojeni dueli po utakmici, svrstavaju ga u vrh veznih igrača HNL-a, dok u napadačkom dijelu nije na toj razini.

Početak je godine i igrači u HNL-u se nakon dva tjedna odmora polako vraćaju svojim obvezama. Hajduk s treninzima počinje 3. siječnja, dok je Rijeka dan ranije odradila prvi trening. Rijeka otvara drugi dio sezone s dva gostovanja. Prva je zaostala utakmica protiv Gorice 24. siječnja, pa četiri dana nakon na Poljudu.

Prije nastavka domaćih obveza, Riječani će se pripremati u slovenskom Čatežu, gdje su u planu tri pripremne utakmice, s Radomljem, Sturm Grazom i Bravom. Prva pripremna utakmica je protiv Sturma, na rasporedu 12. siječnja.

Ostaje za vidjeti hoće li Rijeku u zimskom prijelaznom roku (7. siječnja - 6. veljače) napustiti netko od igrača. Većina je čvrsto  vezana ugovorima te sigurno neće napustiti Kvarner, a da Rijeka na njima pristojno ne zaradi. Zaraditi pak neće na Lindonu Selahiju, ne dođe li do velikog obrata. Albanski veznjak još uvijek ne pristaje na uvjete kluba za produženje ugovora, kao niti klub na igračeve.

Navodno je riječ o iznosu od 400 do 500 tisuća eura, čime bi postao najplaćeniji igrač Rijeke, koja takve zahtjeve ne može pratiti, piše Novi list.

Selahi takonod prvog dana nove godine ima pravo pregovarati s novim potencijalnim poslodavcima bez znanja Rijeke. Ugovor mu istječe sredinom lipnja, a kao jedna od opcija, spominje se mogućnost odlaska u redove Hajduka.

Rijeka i Selahi možda i prekinu trakavicu ove zime, nađu se negdje na "pola puta", a igrač ode uz odgovarajuću odštetu jer njegovo neigranje ne odgovara ni jednoj ni drugoj strani. Vrijednost Selahija prema Transfermarktu je dva i pol milijuna eura.

Uz Hajduk, kao jedan od zainteresiranih klubova se spominjao i Dinamo, 

U utorak je trener Rijeke Željko Sopić okupio svoju momčad, a uoči početka priprema upitan je i o situaciji sa Selahijem, koji se također našao na popisu:

- Rijeka je druga na ljestvici, borimo se za ono nešto gore i onda igraju najbolji. Ako ćemo se boriti za sedmo mjesto, javite mi se 15. ožujka, pa stavim i vas, ali sada igraju najbolji.

Selahi je na Kvarner stigao u ljeto 2021. kao slobodan igrač i ubrzo se nametnuo kao jedna od konstanti u Rijeci. Nogomet je počeo igrati u Belgiji gdje je bio član mlađih kategorija Anderlechta i Standard Liegea, a u redovima potonjih je zaigrao za seniore odakle se otisnuo za Nizozemsku gdje je bio član Twentea te proveo jednu godinu na posudbi i u Willem II.

Dosad je u Rijeci upisao gotovo 100 nastupa, točnije ima ih 91, a ove sezone propustio je samo dvije prvenstvene i jednu utakmicu u Kupu. U taktičkim postavkama Željka Sopića, prvenstveno ispretumbanima dolaskom Marka Pjace, isplivao je Selahi kao jedan od najvažnijih igrača tog sistema, koji spaja obranu i napad iza Tonija Fruka i Nike Jankovića.

Istaknuo se kao igrač sistema kod Sopića na poziciji šestice, a pokriva i poziciju osmice. Njegove defenzivne karakteristike u broju osvojenih i presječenih lopti, kao i osvojeni dueli po utakmici, svrstavaju ga u vrh veznih igrača HNL-a, dok u napadačkom dijelu nije na toj razini.
