Davor Šuker broji posljednje mjesece u Izvršnom odboru UEFA-e. Nekadašnjem predsjedniku HNS-a i Zlatnoj kopački istječe drugi četverogodišnji mandat, a nema se ni mogućnosti kandidirati za novi. Na Kongresu UEFA-e 5. travnja u Lisabonu Aleksander Čeferin ponovno će biti izabran za predsjednika, skupio je potporu svih 55 zemalja članica tako i Rusije koju je suspendirao i izbacio iz natjecanja, a isti dan bit će izglasano i osam članova Izvršnog odbora na četverogodišnji mandat kao i jedan na dvogodišnji.

Šuker je od 2015. u europskoj nogometnoj Vladi, tada je dobio prvu šansu, a reizbor je doživio 2019. godine. U oba navrata bio je predsjednik HNS-a. No, sada više nema nikakvu funkciju u našem nacionalnom savezu te samim time ne zadovoljava niti formalne uvjete za kandidaturu. Propisi kažu da se za Izvršni odbor UEFA-e može natjecati samo onaj tko je u državnom savezu predsjednik, dopredsjednik, glavni tajnik ili izvršni direktor. Šuker je ostao bez baze i morat će prepustiti mjesto nekome drugome. Inače bi imao pravo na maksimalno tri mandata, ali taj treći neće dočekati, pišu Sportske novosti.

HNS ga neće kandidirati, nema niti na osnovu čega jer kad bi ga proglasio veleposlanikom, savjetnikom ili počasnim predsjednikom to ne bi bilo dovoljno. Rok za podnošenje prijava je 5. veljače, zasad nema informacije iz Kuće hrvatskog nogometa da bi planirali nominirati nekoga drugoga. Ostane li tako, Hrvatska će ostati bez čovjeka u Izvršnom odboru, ali će i dalje biti itekako zastupljena u UEFA-i, u prvom redu preko Zvonimira Bobana koji je desna ruka predsjednika Čeferina, tehnički direktor i glavni čovjek za sudačku tematiku.

Za Šukera se neslužbeno iz Nyona može čuti da će i dalje biti angažiran na njihovim projektima kao neka vrsta veleposlanika i promotora širom svijeta. Logično je pitanje je li Hrvatska imala koristi o njegove funkcije u vrhu europskog nogometa, a pritom je većinu toga vremena proveo na čelu HNS-a gdje je smijenjen u ljeto 2020. godine. Odgovori su “malo” i “premalo”, ali to nije samo do Šukera nego i hrvatske države koja nije napravila niti jedan veći projekt s UEFA-om. Boban ima veliku želju učiniti nešto značajno za Hrvatsku, pogotovo po pitanju infrastrukture, međutim da bi to bilo moguće prvo se Hrvatska mora pokrenuti na pravi način.

Izvršni odbor UEFA-e ima predsjednika, šesnaest članova koje bira Kongres, od toga jedna mora biti žena te dva člana kao predstavnike Europske udruge klubova (ECA) i jednog kojeg daju Europske lige. Ograničenje je da ne smiju biti dvojica ili dvoje iz iste države. Od 16 članova IO-a njih se osam bira svake dvije godine na mandat od četiri godine, osim ako nečiji nije prekinut ranije pa dobije nasljednika na dvije godine.

Osim za predsjednika i članova Izvršnog odbora 5. travnja bit će još nekoliko izbora. Za dopredsjednika UEFA-e gdje su kandidati Mađar Sandor Csanyi koji ide po novi mandat i Finac Ari Lahti, dopredsjednika FIFA-e iz britanske kvote za što su kandidati Debbie Hewitt iz Engleske i dosadašnji član David Martin iz Sjeverne Irske. Za jednog člana FIFA-inog Vijeća što će se odlučiti između dosadašnjeg Francuza Nöela Le Graëta i Portugalca Fernanda Gomesa, i taj će dobiti puni četverogodišnji mandat dok je za fotelju u Vijeću na dvije godine jedina opcija Nijemac Bernd Neuendorf.

Osim Šukeru vrijeme je u kontinentalnoj Vladi iscurili i ostalima koji su dobili ugovor na četiri godine 2019. no mnogi su i dalje kandidati te će neki biti izabrani. To su Sandor Csanyi (Mađarska), Armand Duka (Albanija), Fernando Gomes (Portugal), Jesper Möller Christensen (Danska), Andrij Pavelko (Ukrajina), Luis Rubiales (Španjolska) i Florence Hardouin (Francuska).

Davor Šuker broji posljednje mjesece u Izvršnom odboru UEFA-e. Nekadašnjem predsjedniku HNS-a i Zlatnoj kopački istječe drugi četverogodišnji mandat, a nema se ni mogućnosti kandidirati za novi. Na Kongresu UEFA-e 5. travnja u Lisabonu Aleksander Čeferin ponovno će biti izabran za predsjednika, skupio je potporu svih 55 zemalja članica tako i Rusije koju je suspendirao i izbacio iz natjecanja, a isti dan bit će izglasano i osam članova Izvršnog odbora na četverogodišnji mandat kao i jedan na dvogodišnji.

Šuker je od 2015. u europskoj nogometnoj Vladi, tada je dobio prvu šansu, a reizbor je doživio 2019. godine. U oba navrata bio je predsjednik HNS-a. No, sada više nema nikakvu funkciju u našem nacionalnom savezu te samim time ne zadovoljava niti formalne uvjete za kandidaturu. Propisi kažu da se za Izvršni odbor UEFA-e može natjecati samo onaj tko je u državnom savezu predsjednik, dopredsjednik, glavni tajnik ili izvršni direktor. Šuker je ostao bez baze i morat će prepustiti mjesto nekome drugome. Inače bi imao pravo na maksimalno tri mandata, ali taj treći neće dočekati, pišu Sportske novosti.

HNS ga neće kandidirati, nema niti na osnovu čega jer kad bi ga proglasio veleposlanikom, savjetnikom ili počasnim predsjednikom to ne bi bilo dovoljno. Rok za podnošenje prijava je 5. veljače, zasad nema informacije iz Kuće hrvatskog nogometa da bi planirali nominirati nekoga drugoga. Ostane li tako, Hrvatska će ostati bez čovjeka u Izvršnom odboru, ali će i dalje biti itekako zastupljena u UEFA-i, u prvom redu preko Zvonimira Bobana koji je desna ruka predsjednika Čeferina, tehnički direktor i glavni čovjek za sudačku tematiku.

Za Šukera se neslužbeno iz Nyona može čuti da će i dalje biti angažiran na njihovim projektima kao neka vrsta veleposlanika i promotora širom svijeta. Logično je pitanje je li Hrvatska imala koristi o njegove funkcije u vrhu europskog nogometa, a pritom je većinu toga vremena proveo na čelu HNS-a gdje je smijenjen u ljeto 2020. godine. Odgovori su “malo” i “premalo”, ali to nije samo do Šukera nego i hrvatske države koja nije napravila niti jedan veći projekt s UEFA-om. Boban ima veliku želju učiniti nešto značajno za Hrvatsku, pogotovo po pitanju infrastrukture, međutim da bi to bilo moguće prvo se Hrvatska mora pokrenuti na pravi način.

Izvršni odbor UEFA-e ima predsjednika, šesnaest članova koje bira Kongres, od toga jedna mora biti žena te dva člana kao predstavnike Europske udruge klubova (ECA) i jednog kojeg daju Europske lige. Ograničenje je da ne smiju biti dvojica ili dvoje iz iste države. Od 16 članova IO-a njih se osam bira svake dvije godine na mandat od četiri godine, osim ako nečiji nije prekinut ranije pa dobije nasljednika na dvije godine.

Osim za predsjednika i članova Izvršnog odbora 5. travnja bit će još nekoliko izbora. Za dopredsjednika UEFA-e gdje su kandidati Mađar Sandor Csanyi koji ide po novi mandat i Finac Ari Lahti, dopredsjednika FIFA-e iz britanske kvote za što su kandidati Debbie Hewitt iz Engleske i dosadašnji član David Martin iz Sjeverne Irske. Za jednog člana FIFA-inog Vijeća što će se odlučiti između dosadašnjeg Francuza Nöela Le Graëta i Portugalca Fernanda Gomesa, i taj će dobiti puni četverogodišnji mandat dok je za fotelju u Vijeću na dvije godine jedina opcija Nijemac Bernd Neuendorf.

Osim Šukeru vrijeme je u kontinentalnoj Vladi iscurili i ostalima koji su dobili ugovor na četiri godine 2019. no mnogi su i dalje kandidati te će neki biti izabrani. To su Sandor Csanyi (Mađarska), Armand Duka (Albanija), Fernando Gomes (Portugal), Jesper Möller Christensen (Danska), Andrij Pavelko (Ukrajina), Luis Rubiales (Španjolska) i Florence Hardouin (Francuska).
