Stipe Miočić trebao se boriti protiv Jona Jonesa na priredbi UFC 295 koja se održava 11. studenog, za pojas teškaškog prvaka. No, borba je otkazana nakon što je Amerikanac na treningu ozlijedio tetivu te će mu trebati osam mjeseci za oporavak. Već je samo otkazivanje borbe loša vijest, ali još je gore to što bi to lako moglo označiti definitivni kraj Miočićeve karijere...

Kako je do priredbe ostalo još samo dva tjedna, a ona je ostala bez svoje glavne borbe, UFC je brzo reagirao i odmah dogovorio zamjensku borbu, ali ne s novim Stipinim protivnikom, nego s potpuno novim dvojcem u kavezu.

Dana White objavio je da će se za pojas privremenog teškaškog prvaka sučeliti Tom Aspinall i Sergej Pavlovič.

Zašto nije dobio borbu za privremeni pojas?

Danas se u američkim medijima pojavila izjava predsjednika UFC-a. White je nastojao objasniti odluku da se Miočiću ne ponudi borba za privremeni pojas, već da ga se ostavi po strani i na neki način "čuva" za Jonesa.

- Stipe se neće boriti za privremeni pojas. Jones je rekao da se i dalje želi boriti sa Stipom, a mi smo odlučili da će tako i biti. Imate najvećeg teškaša u povijesti protiv najvećeg MMA borca u povijesti. Nismo ni nudili Stipi borbu za privremeni pojas, bio bi to iskaz nepoštovanja prema njemu, rekao je White pa nastavio:

- Stipe je očekivano jako uzrujan. Prošao je kamp, uložio novac... Ipak, zašto bi htio ijednu drugu borbu osim ove s Jonesom koja mu može donijeti pojas? Stipe Miočić da se bori za privremeni pojas? Ne. Ima pravo i razloga biti uzrujan, ali ne možete nikoga kriviti.

Stipe Miočić trebao se boriti protiv Jona Jonesa na priredbi UFC 295 koja se održava 11. studenog, za pojas teškaškog prvaka. No, borba je otkazana nakon što je Amerikanac na treningu ozlijedio tetivu te će mu trebati osam mjeseci za oporavak. Već je samo otkazivanje borbe loša vijest, ali još je gore to što bi to lako moglo označiti definitivni kraj Miočićeve karijere...

Kako je do priredbe ostalo još samo dva tjedna, a ona je ostala bez svoje glavne borbe, UFC je brzo reagirao i odmah dogovorio zamjensku borbu, ali ne s novim Stipinim protivnikom, nego s potpuno novim dvojcem u kavezu.

Dana White objavio je da će se za pojas privremenog teškaškog prvaka sučeliti Tom Aspinall i Sergej Pavlovič.

Zašto nije dobio borbu za privremeni pojas?

Danas se u američkim medijima pojavila izjava predsjednika UFC-a. White je nastojao objasniti odluku da se Miočiću ne ponudi borba za privremeni pojas, već da ga se ostavi po strani i na neki način "čuva" za Jonesa.

- Stipe se neće boriti za privremeni pojas. Jones je rekao da se i dalje želi boriti sa Stipom, a mi smo odlučili da će tako i biti. Imate najvećeg teškaša u povijesti protiv najvećeg MMA borca u povijesti. Nismo ni nudili Stipi borbu za privremeni pojas, bio bi to iskaz nepoštovanja prema njemu, rekao je White pa nastavio:

- Stipe je očekivano jako uzrujan. Prošao je kamp, uložio novac... Ipak, zašto bi htio ijednu drugu borbu osim ove s Jonesom koja mu može donijeti pojas? Stipe Miočić da se bori za privremeni pojas? Ne. Ima pravo i razloga biti uzrujan, ali ne možete nikoga kriviti.

Miočić zbog cijele situacije završava karijeru? Predsjednik UFC-a: ‘Stipe je jako uzrujan, a ima i zašto biti‘

Stipe Miočić trebao se boriti protiv Jona Jonesa na priredbi UFC 295 koja se održava 11. studenog, za pojas teškaškog prvaka. No, borba je otkazana nakon što je Amerikanac na treningu ozlijedio tetivu te će mu trebati osam mjeseci za oporavak. Već je samo otkazivanje borbe loša vijest, ali još je gore to što bi to lako moglo označiti definitivni kraj Miočićeve karijere...

Kako je do priredbe ostalo još samo dva tjedna, a ona je ostala bez svoje glavne borbe, UFC je brzo reagirao i odmah dogovorio zamjensku borbu, ali ne s novim Stipinim protivnikom, nego s potpuno novim dvojcem u kavezu.

Dana White objavio je da će se za pojas privremenog teškaškog prvaka sučeliti Tom Aspinall i Sergej Pavlovič.

Zašto nije dobio borbu za privremeni pojas?

Danas se u američkim medijima pojavila izjava predsjednika UFC-a. White je nastojao objasniti odluku da se Miočiću ne ponudi borba za privremeni pojas, već da ga se ostavi po strani i na neki način "čuva" za Jonesa.

- Stipe se neće boriti za privremeni pojas. Jones je rekao da se i dalje želi boriti sa Stipom, a mi smo odlučili da će tako i biti. Imate najvećeg teškaša u povijesti protiv najvećeg MMA borca u povijesti. Nismo ni nudili Stipi borbu za privremeni pojas, bio bi to iskaz nepoštovanja prema njemu, rekao je White pa nastavio:

- Stipe je očekivano jako uzrujan. Prošao je kamp, uložio novac... Ipak, zašto bi htio ijednu drugu borbu osim ove s Jonesom koja mu može donijeti pojas? Stipe Miočić da se bori za privremeni pojas? Ne. Ima pravo i razloga biti uzrujan, ali ne možete nikoga kriviti.
