Ovu subotu Salona boxing promotion i GBS Sports Boxing and Entertainment organiziraju još jednu boksačku poslasticu: napad na Interkontinentalnu WBC titulu (WBC International Silver Title), borbu za koju se spremaju Luka Plantić (26), član BK Salona i Armenac Khoren Gevor.

Solin je tako postao meka vrhunskih boksačkih priredbi. Luka Plantić je hrvatski olimpijac, jedan od naših najboljih boraca, u amaterskom boksu treći senior u Europi. Još kao junior pokazao je zavidno znanje i borbenost u ringu, a krasi ga nevjerojatna snaga i tehnika.

Solinjani su u rujnu gledali njegov profesionalni boks meč protiv Južnoafrikanca Ryna Liebenberga kojega je Plantić srušio u četvrtoj rundi. Ta pobjeda mu je otvorila mogućnost da napadne WBC titulu u profi boksu. Do sada je slavio u sva tri meča, a put kojim je krenuo jamči mu da uz dobre borbe i pobjede postane prvi izazivač za prvaka svijeta u WBC asocijaciji.

Subotnji meč Plantić dočekuje pripremajući se za okršaj protiv Armenca Gevora (42) u super srednjoj kategoriji. Boksat će deset rundi po tri minute. Ili kraće. Gover je dobar borac, iskusan, obračunao se s mnogim poznatim boksačima.

Pomogao i trener iz Ukrajine

Posljednjih nekoliko mjeseci s Plantićem radi i ukrajinski trener Jaroslav Podmasterchyk, naravno da je tu i trener Tomislav Bašić. U glavnom dijelu večeri, koja počinje u 20.00 sati, vidjet ćemo ukupno osam borbi, bolja pozivnica vam ne treba.

Kako dočekujete subotnji meč? Ima li napetosti, nervoze...?

- A eto, dočekujemo ga radeći punom parom, treniramo dva puta dnevno. Jedva čekamo da dođe subota, da odradimo meč i osvojim titulu.

Što znamo o protivniku i što možemo očekivati?

- Ne poznajem ga previše, ali smo gledali njegove borbe moj trener i ja, imogu reći da smo ga dovoljno proučili. Za razliku od meča protiv Južnoafrikanca Liebenberga ova će borba protiv Gevora biti puno drugačija jer se borimo za titulu. On je iskusniji od prethodnog borca s kojim sam boksao.

Čeka vas još puno posla nakon subote.

- Odradit ćemo ovaj meč pa ćemo se fokusirati na amaterski boks, tu ima dosta posla jer želim na Olimpijske igre u Pariz 2024. godine. To je jako blizu. U Hrvatskoj je dosta dobrih mladih boksača koji su napredovali. Baš u mojoj kategoriji ima puno dobrih boraca, žestoka je konkurencija tako da je sasvim jasno da ću se za svaku pobjedu morati dobro oznojiti.

Kakvi su daljnji planovi?

- Osvojiti sami vrh i ostati na njemu!

Kako izgleda ovaj završni tjedan uoči subote odluke?

- Sad smo u završnoj fazi treninga, ove dane samo lagano, fokuseri i skidanje viška kilograma. Prošli tjedan mi je bio na sparingu Talijan Salvatore, sad mi je došao jedan Turčin, tako da se stvari odvijaju točno onako kako smo zamišljali. Interes za priredbu je velik i predlažem svima da na vrijeme kupe ulaznice.

Tomislav Bašić, pak, brine o pripremama Plantića za meč, ali isto tako o svim detaljima vezanim za priredbu.

- Sve ide kako smo zamislili, pripreme su u jeku, sparing je svaki dan, organizacija priredbe na visokoj razini. Njegov protivnik je Armenac koji je boksao sa svim poznatim boksačima i jasno je da će Luka imati izuzetno čvrstog borca na drugoj strani. Ukrajinski trener Jaroslav nam zadnjih mjeseci pomaže tako da smo u stručnom dijelu još potpuniji. Solinska priredba ponudit će i druge dobre mečeve, primjerice nastupe naša dva Ukrajinca koji ovdje treniraju, a u ring ulaze i Damir Plantić, Ivan Đuka, Ivan Stupalo, Branimir Malenica, te još jedna obrana titule u kategoriji do 57 kg, Arijana Goričkog iz Zagreba. Tako da će biti puno dobrih mečeva.

Solin je tako postao meka vrhunskih boksačkih priredbi. Luka Plantić je hrvatski olimpijac, jedan od naših najboljih boraca, u amaterskom boksu treći senior u Europi. Još kao junior pokazao je zavidno znanje i borbenost u ringu, a krasi ga nevjerojatna snaga i tehnika.

Solinjani su u rujnu gledali njegov profesionalni boks meč protiv Južnoafrikanca Ryna Liebenberga kojega je Plantić srušio u četvrtoj rundi. Ta pobjeda mu je otvorila mogućnost da napadne WBC titulu u profi boksu. Do sada je slavio u sva tri meča, a put kojim je krenuo jamči mu da uz dobre borbe i pobjede postane prvi izazivač za prvaka svijeta u WBC asocijaciji.

Subotnji meč Plantić dočekuje pripremajući se za okršaj protiv Armenca Gevora (42) u super srednjoj kategoriji. Boksat će deset rundi po tri minute. Ili kraće. Gover je dobar borac, iskusan, obračunao se s mnogim poznatim boksačima.

Pomogao i trener iz Ukrajine

Posljednjih nekoliko mjeseci s Plantićem radi i ukrajinski trener Jaroslav Podmasterchyk, naravno da je tu i trener Tomislav Bašić. U glavnom dijelu večeri, koja počinje u 20.00 sati, vidjet ćemo ukupno osam borbi, bolja pozivnica vam ne treba.

Kako dočekujete subotnji meč? Ima li napetosti, nervoze...?

- A eto, dočekujemo ga radeći punom parom, treniramo dva puta dnevno. Jedva čekamo da dođe subota, da odradimo meč i osvojim titulu.

Što znamo o protivniku i što možemo očekivati?

- Ne poznajem ga previše, ali smo gledali njegove borbe moj trener i ja, imogu reći da smo ga dovoljno proučili. Za razliku od meča protiv Južnoafrikanca Liebenberga ova će borba protiv Gevora biti puno drugačija jer se borimo za titulu. On je iskusniji od prethodnog borca s kojim sam boksao.

Čeka vas još puno posla nakon subote.

- Odradit ćemo ovaj meč pa ćemo se fokusirati na amaterski boks, tu ima dosta posla jer želim na Olimpijske igre u Pariz 2024. godine. To je jako blizu. U Hrvatskoj je dosta dobrih mladih boksača koji su napredovali. Baš u mojoj kategoriji ima puno dobrih boraca, žestoka je konkurencija tako da je sasvim jasno da ću se za svaku pobjedu morati dobro oznojiti.

Kakvi su daljnji planovi?

- Osvojiti sami vrh i ostati na njemu!

Kako izgleda ovaj završni tjedan uoči subote odluke?

- Sad smo u završnoj fazi treninga, ove dane samo lagano, fokuseri i skidanje viška kilograma. Prošli tjedan mi je bio na sparingu Talijan Salvatore, sad mi je došao jedan Turčin, tako da se stvari odvijaju točno onako kako smo zamišljali. Interes za priredbu je velik i predlažem svima da na vrijeme kupe ulaznice.

Tomislav Bašić, pak, brine o pripremama Plantića za meč, ali isto tako o svim detaljima vezanim za priredbu.

- Sve ide kako smo zamislili, pripreme su u jeku, sparing je svaki dan, organizacija priredbe na visokoj razini. Njegov protivnik je Armenac koji je boksao sa svim poznatim boksačima i jasno je da će Luka imati izuzetno čvrstog borca na drugoj strani. Ukrajinski trener Jaroslav nam zadnjih mjeseci pomaže tako da smo u stručnom dijelu još potpuniji. Solinska priredba ponudit će i druge dobre mečeve, primjerice nastupe naša dva Ukrajinca koji ovdje treniraju, a u ring ulaze i Damir Plantić, Ivan Đuka, Ivan Stupalo, Branimir Malenica, te još jedna obrana titule u kategoriji do 57 kg, Arijana Goričkog iz Zagreba. Tako da će biti puno dobrih mečeva.
