Svjetski boksački prvak u teškoj kategoriji po verzijama WBA, IBF, WBO i IBO, Anthony Joshua ove godine će imati samo jednu borbu, rekao je u četvrtak njegov promotor Eddie Hearn.

Bit će to okršaj protiv bugarskog boksača Kubrata Puleva. Čak se nagađa kako bi se borba mogla održati u pulskoj Areni.

"Nadamo se da će se između rujna i prosinca vratiti natjecanja u Veliku Britaniju. Međutim, možda i neće, tada ćemo borbu protiv Puleva organizirati negdje drugdje," kazao je Eddie Hearn za televiziju Sky Sports.

"Dobili smo brojne ponude s Bliskog Istoka, Kine i Hrvatske kako bi tamo organizirali borbu. Želimo iskoristiti svaku priliku da se borba održi u Velikoj Britaniji, ali znamo da to možda neće biti moguće," dodao je.

Prije nekoliko dana Pulevljev menadžer Ivajlo Gotsev je također spomenuo Hrvatsku.

"Dana su nam četiri tjedna da nađemo novi teritorij ako se situacija i mjere u Engleskoj ne promijene", izjavio je Gotsev.

"Razgovaramo o Hrvatskoj, tamo je jedinstveni rimski amfiteatar - Arena u Puli. Aktivni smo u tim razgovorima", dodao je.

Zanimljivo, Joshua i Pulev su do sada već dva puta odgađali međusobnu borbu. Prvi put su se trebali boriti u Cardiffu na stadionu Principality u listopadu 2017. ali tada se Bugarin čiji je nadimak 'Kobra' povukao zbog ozljede ramena. Novi termin je bio 20. lipnja na stadionu Tottenhama, ali se ovoga puta ispriječila epidemija koronavirusa.

Hearn je dodao kako bi se Joshua iduće godina čak dva puta mogao boriti protiv sunarodnjaka Tysona Furyja.

Međutim, prije toga AJ mora odraditi meč protiv Puleva, a Fury protiv Deontayja Wildera.

Joshua je posljednju borbu imao u prosincu prošle godine kada je u Saudijskoj Arabiji pobijedio Amerikanca Andyja Ruiza vrativši tako izgubljene naslove koje mu je Ruiz 'oteo' u lipnju prošle godine pobijedivši ga u New Yorku.

Svjetski boksački prvak u teškoj kategoriji po verzijama WBA, IBF, WBO i IBO, Anthony Joshua ove godine će imati samo jednu borbu, rekao je u četvrtak njegov promotor Eddie Hearn.

Bit će to okršaj protiv bugarskog boksača Kubrata Puleva. Čak se nagađa kako bi se borba mogla održati u pulskoj Areni.

"Nadamo se da će se između rujna i prosinca vratiti natjecanja u Veliku Britaniju. Međutim, možda i neće, tada ćemo borbu protiv Puleva organizirati negdje drugdje," kazao je Eddie Hearn za televiziju Sky Sports.

"Dobili smo brojne ponude s Bliskog Istoka, Kine i Hrvatske kako bi tamo organizirali borbu. Želimo iskoristiti svaku priliku da se borba održi u Velikoj Britaniji, ali znamo da to možda neće biti moguće," dodao je.

Prije nekoliko dana Pulevljev menadžer Ivajlo Gotsev je također spomenuo Hrvatsku.

"Dana su nam četiri tjedna da nađemo novi teritorij ako se situacija i mjere u Engleskoj ne promijene", izjavio je Gotsev.

"Razgovaramo o Hrvatskoj, tamo je jedinstveni rimski amfiteatar - Arena u Puli. Aktivni smo u tim razgovorima", dodao je.

Zanimljivo, Joshua i Pulev su do sada već dva puta odgađali međusobnu borbu. Prvi put su se trebali boriti u Cardiffu na stadionu Principality u listopadu 2017. ali tada se Bugarin čiji je nadimak 'Kobra' povukao zbog ozljede ramena. Novi termin je bio 20. lipnja na stadionu Tottenhama, ali se ovoga puta ispriječila epidemija koronavirusa.

Hearn je dodao kako bi se Joshua iduće godina čak dva puta mogao boriti protiv sunarodnjaka Tysona Furyja.

Međutim, prije toga AJ mora odraditi meč protiv Puleva, a Fury protiv Deontayja Wildera.

Joshua je posljednju borbu imao u prosincu prošle godine kada je u Saudijskoj Arabiji pobijedio Amerikanca Andyja Ruiza vrativši tako izgubljene naslove koje mu je Ruiz 'oteo' u lipnju prošle godine pobijedivši ga u New Yorku.

Svjetski boksački prvak u teškoj kategoriji po verzijama WBA, IBF, WBO i IBO, Anthony Joshua ove godine će imati samo jednu borbu, rekao je u četvrtak njegov promotor Eddie Hearn.

Bit će to okršaj protiv bugarskog boksača Kubrata Puleva. Čak se nagađa kako bi se borba mogla održati u pulskoj Areni.

"Nadamo se da će se između rujna i prosinca vratiti natjecanja u Veliku Britaniju. Međutim, možda i neće, tada ćemo borbu protiv Puleva organizirati negdje drugdje," kazao je Eddie Hearn za televiziju Sky Sports.

"Dobili smo brojne ponude s Bliskog Istoka, Kine i Hrvatske kako bi tamo organizirali borbu. Želimo iskoristiti svaku priliku da se borba održi u Velikoj Britaniji, ali znamo da to možda neće biti moguće," dodao je.
