Kako bi Split povodom 1600 godina od smrti svetog Jeronima, zaštitnika Dalmacije, postao svjetsko središte za istraživanje života i djela ovoga sveca, u četvrtak (jučer) su župan Blaženko Boban, Dragan Ljutić, sveučilišni rektor i Mladen Parlov, dekan Katoličkog bogoslovnog fakulteta (KBF), potpisali na tu temu sporazum o suradnji triju institucija kojima rukovode.

Potpisivanju je nazočio i don Ivan Bodrožić, voditelj novoosnovanog KBF-ova istraživačkog centra "Hieronymianum - Centar za proučavanje života i djela svetog Jeronima".

- Pokrenuli smo niz aktivnosti koje se tiču ovog našeg sveca na razini županije, od srca zahvaljujem svima na formiranju Centra u studenome prošle godine, a voditelj, naš don Ivan, najveći je poznavatelj lika i djela svetoga Jeronima na svijetu. Ponosni smo što je naš čovjek, svećenik i profesor naših korijena, po cijelom svijetu poznat i priznat.

Sada, kada smo potpisali i obvezali se na suradnju, uvjeren sam da ćemo budućim naraštajima ostaviti cijeli niz djela, rukopisa i novih saznanja u testament - kazao je župan Boban.

Profesoru Bodrožiću zahvalio je i rektor Ljutić.

- Veliko hvala profesoru što se iz Zagreba vratio kući, čast nam je imati takvog intelektualca među nama. Sveučilište je pokretač brojnih dobrih stvari, nisu bitni samo tehnologija i znanost, već i duhovnost. Ova suradnja samo je jedan od primjera kako županija i Sveučilište rade na istom poslanju. Utječemo na mladost, neka se ugledaju u profesora Bodrožića, neka ostanu ovdje. Iz Splita mogu dosegnuti vrhove svijeta i biti jako dobro prepoznati, zaista imamo puno intelektualne snage - smatra rektor.
Dekan KBF-a istaknuo je da je cilj suradnje brendirati svetog Jeronima.

- Zajedničkim snagama interes nam je brendirati našeg sveca koji ima veliki utjecaj na razvoj čitave europske kulture i duhovnosti. Cilj nam je vezati Split sa svetim Jeronimom. Želimo da kada netko pomisli na naš grad, jedan od prvih simbola bude upravo sveti Jeronim. Grad pod Marjanom mogao bi postati svjetsko središte za istraživanje života i djela ovog iznimnog sveca - ustvrdio je don Mladen Parlov.

Profesor Bodrožić ispričao je nešto više o najvećem Dalmatincu svih vremena. Navodno je imao tešku narav, bio je nepopustljiv i beskompromisan, pomalo i svadljiv. No, izreka koja mu se pripisuje, "Oprosti mi, Gospodine, jer sam Dalmatinac" učinili su ga omiljenim među pukom.

- Sveti Jeronim ima veliku važnost za naš narod, Hrvati su ga prihvatili kao svoga sveca i zaštitnika. Ime mu se vezalo uz nastanak glagoljice, od srednjeg vijeka njime se ponosimo kao svojim sinom, premda nije bio Hrvat u nacionalnom smislu riječi. Imao je veliku ulogu u razvitku duhovnosti, danas ga tri provincije franjevaca slave kao svoga zaštitnika.

Naš sveti Jere ušao je na velika vrata u hrvatsku povijest, teologiju i književnost. Odakle je točno, obavijeno je velom tajne, no ostaje istina kojoj danas svjedočimo. Jeronim je svetac katoličke crkve i pripada svima koji ga štuju i istražuju, proučavaju njegova djela i daju se njima podučiti - zaključio je prof. Bodrožić.

Kako bi Split povodom 1600 godina od smrti svetog Jeronima, zaštitnika Dalmacije, postao svjetsko središte za istraživanje života i djela ovoga sveca, u četvrtak (jučer) su župan Blaženko Boban, Dragan Ljutić, sveučilišni rektor i Mladen Parlov, dekan Katoličkog bogoslovnog fakulteta (KBF), potpisali na tu temu sporazum o suradnji triju institucija kojima rukovode.

Potpisivanju je nazočio i don Ivan Bodrožić, voditelj novoosnovanog KBF-ova istraživačkog centra "Hieronymianum - Centar za proučavanje života i djela svetog Jeronima".

- Pokrenuli smo niz aktivnosti koje se tiču ovog našeg sveca na razini županije, od srca zahvaljujem svima na formiranju Centra u studenome prošle godine, a voditelj, naš don Ivan, najveći je poznavatelj lika i djela svetoga Jeronima na svijetu. Ponosni smo što je naš čovjek, svećenik i profesor naših korijena, po cijelom svijetu poznat i priznat.

Sada, kada smo potpisali i obvezali se na suradnju, uvjeren sam da ćemo budućim naraštajima ostaviti cijeli niz djela, rukopisa i novih saznanja u testament - kazao je župan Boban.

Profesoru Bodrožiću zahvalio je i rektor Ljutić.

- Veliko hvala profesoru što se iz Zagreba vratio kući, čast nam je imati takvog intelektualca među nama. Sveučilište je pokretač brojnih dobrih stvari, nisu bitni samo tehnologija i znanost, već i duhovnost. Ova suradnja samo je jedan od primjera kako županija i Sveučilište rade na istom poslanju. Utječemo na mladost, neka se ugledaju u profesora Bodrožića, neka ostanu ovdje. Iz Splita mogu dosegnuti vrhove svijeta i biti jako dobro prepoznati, zaista imamo puno intelektualne snage - smatra rektor.
Dekan KBF-a istaknuo je da je cilj suradnje brendirati svetog Jeronima.

- Zajedničkim snagama interes nam je brendirati našeg sveca koji ima veliki utjecaj na razvoj čitave europske kulture i duhovnosti. Cilj nam je vezati Split sa svetim Jeronimom. Želimo da kada netko pomisli na naš grad, jedan od prvih simbola bude upravo sveti Jeronim. Grad pod Marjanom mogao bi postati svjetsko središte za istraživanje života i djela ovog iznimnog sveca - ustvrdio je don Mladen Parlov.

Profesor Bodrožić ispričao je nešto više o najvećem Dalmatincu svih vremena. Navodno je imao tešku narav, bio je nepopustljiv i beskompromisan, pomalo i svadljiv. No, izreka koja mu se pripisuje, "Oprosti mi, Gospodine, jer sam Dalmatinac" učinili su ga omiljenim među pukom.

- Sveti Jeronim ima veliku važnost za naš narod, Hrvati su ga prihvatili kao svoga sveca i zaštitnika. Ime mu se vezalo uz nastanak glagoljice, od srednjeg vijeka njime se ponosimo kao svojim sinom, premda nije bio Hrvat u nacionalnom smislu riječi. Imao je veliku ulogu u razvitku duhovnosti, danas ga tri provincije franjevaca slave kao svoga zaštitnika.

Naš sveti Jere ušao je na velika vrata u hrvatsku povijest, teologiju i književnost. Odakle je točno, obavijeno je velom tajne, no ostaje istina kojoj danas svjedočimo. Jeronim je svetac katoličke crkve i pripada svima koji ga štuju i istražuju, proučavaju njegova djela i daju se njima podučiti - zaključio je prof. Bodrožić.
