Na današnji dan 2020. godine na Lovrincu je od početka te godine ukopano 130 ljudi manje nego ove godine. Možemo preformulirati prvu rečenicu. Do danas je na splitskom groblju pokopano 130 ljudi više nego prošle godine u isto vrijeme. Sami odaberite koja vam uhu zvuči ugodnije, ali od crne brojke ne možemo pobjeći. Podatak je - podatak. 

Usporedbe radi, Petar Rodić, direktor Groblja Lovrinac,  kaže da broj ukopa godišnje varira do brojke 50. Ako uzmemo u obzir taj podatak i još jednom ponovimo da je već danas 130 sprovoda više u odnosu na isto vrijeme prošle godine, takve brojke su u najmanju ruku zabrinjavajuće.

- Ako se ovako nastavi, bit će 200 ljudi više u odnosu na prošlu godinu, a bojim se da bismo i tu brojku mogli premašiti. Nadam se da nećemo, ali strah me je - zabrinuto će Rodić.

- Zadnjih dana grcamo od posla. Već za srijedu imamo zakazano osam sprovoda, čak subotom imamo šest ili sedam sprovoda, a evo i četvrtak se skoro popunio - broji naš sugovornik, koji je gotovo cijeli životni vijek proveo na Lovrincu, ali se ne sjeća da je ikada bila takva situacija.

- Čak niti za vrijeme ratnih dana nije bio ovakav pritisak na grobare. Ljudi koji obavljaju taj posao osam puta dnevno idu u mrtvačnicu i natrag na groblje. Dajte da vam to malo bolje objasnim... Dakle, oni imaju minimalno pola kilometra hodati od mrtvačnice do ukopnog mjesta. Moraju pričekati obred, spustiti pokojnika, zatvoriti ili zatrpati grob i trčati natrag na drugi sprovod. Nemojmo se zavaravati, stanje nije normalno. Dugo sam tu, nikad nije bilo ovako - pokušava slikovito dočarati direktor Groblja Lovrinac. Kako bi sve to stigli, mora im pomagati dio klesara i građevinara koji pripremaju grobno mjesto, jer grobari jednostavno ne stignu.

- Zasad ljudi čekaju tri ili četiri dana za ukop pokojnika, ali teško je to osigurati pod ovakvim pritiskom. Spašava nas jedino to da se kod nas mogu ukapati samo pokojnici kojima je Split bio mjesto prebivališta - objasnio je Petar Rodić i zamolio nas da ovim putem pošalje poruku sugrađanima.

- Nije samo pitanje COVID-a, puno ljudi umire i od malignih bolesti. Ali se moramo uozbiljiti, jer ovakva situacija nije normalna. Samo dođite na Lovrinac i pratite grobare. Slobodno dođite, ja vas pozivam da vidite koliko i kako rade. Poslije zdravstvenih djelatnika, mi smo najugroženiji. Gotovo svi naši zaposlenici zarazili su se koronom. Srećom, bilo je u fazama i riječ je o mladim ljudima, jer je prije dvije godine bila smjena generacija. Ne želim niti zamišljati što bi bilo da nismo obavili smjenu generacija - rekao je direktor Groblja Lovrinac.

Na vječnom počivalištu, među čempresima, od početka godine do danas 1245 pokojnika pronašlo je svoje mir, a ako se ovakav trend nastavi, bit će ih 1500.

Na današnji dan 2020. godine na Lovrincu je od početka te godine ukopano 130 ljudi manje nego ove godine. Možemo preformulirati prvu rečenicu. Do danas je na splitskom groblju pokopano 130 ljudi više nego prošle godine u isto vrijeme. Sami odaberite koja vam uhu zvuči ugodnije, ali od crne brojke ne možemo pobjeći. Podatak je - podatak. 

Usporedbe radi, Petar Rodić, direktor Groblja Lovrinac,  kaže da broj ukopa godišnje varira do brojke 50. Ako uzmemo u obzir taj podatak i još jednom ponovimo da je već danas 130 sprovoda više u odnosu na isto vrijeme prošle godine, takve brojke su u najmanju ruku zabrinjavajuće.

- Ako se ovako nastavi, bit će 200 ljudi više u odnosu na prošlu godinu, a bojim se da bismo i tu brojku mogli premašiti. Nadam se da nećemo, ali strah me je - zabrinuto će Rodić.

- Zadnjih dana grcamo od posla. Već za srijedu imamo zakazano osam sprovoda, čak subotom imamo šest ili sedam sprovoda, a evo i četvrtak se skoro popunio - broji naš sugovornik, koji je gotovo cijeli životni vijek proveo na Lovrincu, ali se ne sjeća da je ikada bila takva situacija.

- Čak niti za vrijeme ratnih dana nije bio ovakav pritisak na grobare. Ljudi koji obavljaju taj posao osam puta dnevno idu u mrtvačnicu i natrag na groblje. Dajte da vam to malo bolje objasnim... Dakle, oni imaju minimalno pola kilometra hodati od mrtvačnice do ukopnog mjesta. Moraju pričekati obred, spustiti pokojnika, zatvoriti ili zatrpati grob i trčati natrag na drugi sprovod. Nemojmo se zavaravati, stanje nije normalno. Dugo sam tu, nikad nije bilo ovako - pokušava slikovito dočarati direktor Groblja Lovrinac. Kako bi sve to stigli, mora im pomagati dio klesara i građevinara koji pripremaju grobno mjesto, jer grobari jednostavno ne stignu.

- Zasad ljudi čekaju tri ili četiri dana za ukop pokojnika, ali teško je to osigurati pod ovakvim pritiskom. Spašava nas jedino to da se kod nas mogu ukapati samo pokojnici kojima je Split bio mjesto prebivališta - objasnio je Petar Rodić i zamolio nas da ovim putem pošalje poruku sugrađanima.

- Nije samo pitanje COVID-a, puno ljudi umire i od malignih bolesti. Ali se moramo uozbiljiti, jer ovakva situacija nije normalna. Samo dođite na Lovrinac i pratite grobare. Slobodno dođite, ja vas pozivam da vidite koliko i kako rade. Poslije zdravstvenih djelatnika, mi smo najugroženiji. Gotovo svi naši zaposlenici zarazili su se koronom. Srećom, bilo je u fazama i riječ je o mladim ljudima, jer je prije dvije godine bila smjena generacija. Ne želim niti zamišljati što bi bilo da nismo obavili smjenu generacija - rekao je direktor Groblja Lovrinac.

Na vječnom počivalištu, među čempresima, od početka godine do danas 1245 pokojnika pronašlo je svoje mir, a ako se ovakav trend nastavi, bit će ih 1500.
