Jedini arhitektonski ostatak starog splitskog groblja na Sustipanu, rađenog prema projektu arhitektu Vicka Andrića iz 1822. godine, glorijet je na njegovoj sredini. Često na meti mnogih objektiva, naći će se na brojnim fotografijama i u mnogim videospotovima, ali onakav kakvog smo jutros zatekli nije ni za što. Osim za – zgražanje. 

Park na Sustipanu ovih vrućih dana primjereno ranim jutrom održavaju radnici Čistoće i Parkova i nasada, na sve strane prskalice koje osiguravaju svježinu uredno pokošenoj travi, ali jutros smo stigli neposredno prije nego će biti pokupljeno smeće koje su preko noći – kada bi Sustipan morao biti zaključan – ostavili bezobzirni posjetitelji koji tu dolaze piti, partijati...

No, ostatke hrane, boce i limenke, kesice... lako je pokupiti, ali glorijet je istodobno nagrđen i napadima "inspiracije" grafitera, pri čemu ne mislimo na  one koji se bave grafitima kao umjetnošću. Jednako kao prije deset godina, kad su se na njemu našli nasprejani izrazi obožavanja prema Siniši Vuci i naopaki križevi.

Tada je dignuta uzbuna i jedan od rijetkih sačuvanih glorijeta među klasicističkim spomenicima u Dalmaciji temeljito je do kraja mjeseca ispjeskaren, očišćen, pa smo na internetu u jednoj vijesti o tome našli ove rečenice: "Sustipanski simbol ponovo blješti u svojoj prekrasnoj bjelini. Nadamo se što duže..." Kako je uređeni glorijet tada izgledao pogledajte OVDJE.

Što je bilo u međuvremenu, je li glorijet još koji put nagrđen pa očišćen, nismo evidentirali, ali današnje stanje je ovakvo. Sramotno! A po stanju svoda, koje se dobro vidi na jednoj od fotografija, jasno je da je glorijet već morao biti ponovno temeljito restauriran, a ne samo očišćen.

Ovu katastrofu treba što prije sanirati. Iskustvo nas uči – do prve sljedeće prilike.

Jedini arhitektonski ostatak starog splitskog groblja na Sustipanu, rađenog prema projektu arhitektu Vicka Andrića iz 1822. godine, glorijet je na njegovoj sredini. Često na meti mnogih objektiva, naći će se na brojnim fotografijama i u mnogim videospotovima, ali onakav kakvog smo jutros zatekli nije ni za što. Osim za – zgražanje. 

Park na Sustipanu ovih vrućih dana primjereno ranim jutrom održavaju radnici Čistoće i Parkova i nasada, na sve strane prskalice koje osiguravaju svježinu uredno pokošenoj travi, ali jutros smo stigli neposredno prije nego će biti pokupljeno smeće koje su preko noći – kada bi Sustipan morao biti zaključan – ostavili bezobzirni posjetitelji koji tu dolaze piti, partijati...

No, ostatke hrane, boce i limenke, kesice... lako je pokupiti, ali glorijet je istodobno nagrđen i napadima "inspiracije" grafitera, pri čemu ne mislimo na  one koji se bave grafitima kao umjetnošću. Jednako kao prije deset godina, kad su se na njemu našli nasprejani izrazi obožavanja prema Siniši Vuci i naopaki križevi.

Tada je dignuta uzbuna i jedan od rijetkih sačuvanih glorijeta među klasicističkim spomenicima u Dalmaciji temeljito je do kraja mjeseca ispjeskaren, očišćen, pa smo na internetu u jednoj vijesti o tome našli ove rečenice: "Sustipanski simbol ponovo blješti u svojoj prekrasnoj bjelini. Nadamo se što duže..." Kako je uređeni glorijet tada izgledao pogledajte OVDJE.

Što je bilo u međuvremenu, je li glorijet još koji put nagrđen pa očišćen, nismo evidentirali, ali današnje stanje je ovakvo. Sramotno! A po stanju svoda, koje se dobro vidi na jednoj od fotografija, jasno je da je glorijet već morao biti ponovno temeljito restauriran, a ne samo očišćen.

Ovu katastrofu treba što prije sanirati. Iskustvo nas uči – do prve sljedeće prilike.
