Tršćanska ulica u Splitu kao da je akumulirala komunalne probleme za cijeli jedan omanji kvart. Među tim problemima izdvaja se bivši Bobisov "Slatki diskont". Svojim imenom asocira Splićane na slastice koje su nekoć tamo kupovali, ali već dugo, zbog otužnog stanja u kojem se nalazi, izaziva zgražanje građana koji prolaze pokraj njega. Kod prolaznika izaziva zgražanje, ali kod stanara Tršćanske ulice izaziva bojazan.
Dugogodišnji život pokraj derutne kuće (sve manje oku vidljive zbog mini džungle u koju se pretvorila okućnica) stvorio je pretpostavke za takav osjećaj među susjedima "Slatkog diskonta". Glodavci, urušavanje zidova, palež koji se može proširiti na susjedne objekte, narkomani koji posjećuju napušteni objekt... samo su neke od asocijacija na "Slatki diskont" koje padaju na pamet stanovnicima tog dijela Tršćanske ulice.

– Da vlasnik želi riješiti problem, već bi nešto napravio. Mogao je barem urediti okućnicu kuće da ne izgleda kao džungla. Imamo gumu spremnu za gašenje požara, da vatra ne zahvati i našu kuću. Nije to jedina opasnost koja prijeti. Ako zapuše malo jača bura, opet će se odroniti zid ograde i pasti po autima koji su parkirani na kolniku. To se već dogodilo pa su vatrogasci postavili zaštitnu ogradu, ali to neće pomoći pri sljedećoj nesreći – rekla nam je jedna stanarka koja živi u neposrednoj blizini derutnog objekta.
Vlasnik je nekadašnjeg "Slatkog diskonta" Željko Rupić, ujedno vlasnik i hotela "Art", koji se nalazi tik uz derutni objekt. Kad smo prije četiri mjeseca pisali o "Slatkom diskontu", gospodin Rupić nam je rekao da je taj objekt kupio na licitaciji te je najavio temeljitu obnovu objekta i njegovo stavljanje u funkciju hotela. Kao prepreku u realizaciji tog projekta naveo je dugotrajnost postupka u kojem mu stečajni upravitelj objekt treba predati u posjed, a dok se to ne napravi, ruke su mu vezane.

– Nažalost, do današnjeg dana ništa se nije promijenilo. Predmet je još na sudu. Pokušat ću riješiti barem onaj dio srušenog stabla što je ostao na krovu. Kontaktirat ću odvjetnika i stečajnu upraviteljicu – rekao nam je ovaj put vlasnik hotela "Art" Željko Rupić.
Kao što je već naglašeno, "Slatki diskont" nije jedini slučaj derutne zapuštenosti u Tršćanskoj ulici. Svi ti slučajevi popraćeni su opravdanom medijskom pažnjom. Neki su rezultirali pozitivnim promjenama. Primjer može biti objekt u Tršćanskoj 17. Dugo je nedovršena kuća na toj adresi izazivala glavobolju susjedima jer je postala okupljalište beskućnika i leglo glodavaca.
Vatrogasci su samo prošle godine intervenirali čak sedam puta zbog požara u toj kući. Nakon javnog svjedočenja ogorčenih susjeda, objekt je saniran. Postavljene su nove zaštitne ograde i lokoti, te je očišćena bujna vegetacija u okućnici. Dok bivši "Slatki diskont" ne postane dio hotela "Art", i to bi bio sasvim dovoljan napredak.

Tršćanska ulica u Splitu kao da je akumulirala komunalne probleme za cijeli jedan omanji kvart. Među tim problemima izdvaja se bivši Bobisov "Slatki diskont". Svojim imenom asocira Splićane na slastice koje su nekoć tamo kupovali, ali već dugo, zbog otužnog stanja u kojem se nalazi, izaziva zgražanje građana koji prolaze pokraj njega. Kod prolaznika izaziva zgražanje, ali kod stanara Tršćanske ulice izaziva bojazan.
Dugogodišnji život pokraj derutne kuće (sve manje oku vidljive zbog mini džungle u koju se pretvorila okućnica) stvorio je pretpostavke za takav osjećaj među susjedima "Slatkog diskonta". Glodavci, urušavanje zidova, palež koji se može proširiti na susjedne objekte, narkomani koji posjećuju napušteni objekt... samo su neke od asocijacija na "Slatki diskont" koje padaju na pamet stanovnicima tog dijela Tršćanske ulice.

– Da vlasnik želi riješiti problem, već bi nešto napravio. Mogao je barem urediti okućnicu kuće da ne izgleda kao džungla. Imamo gumu spremnu za gašenje požara, da vatra ne zahvati i našu kuću. Nije to jedina opasnost koja prijeti. Ako zapuše malo jača bura, opet će se odroniti zid ograde i pasti po autima koji su parkirani na kolniku. To se već dogodilo pa su vatrogasci postavili zaštitnu ogradu, ali to neće pomoći pri sljedećoj nesreći – rekla nam je jedna stanarka koja živi u neposrednoj blizini derutnog objekta.
Vlasnik je nekadašnjeg "Slatkog diskonta" Željko Rupić, ujedno vlasnik i hotela "Art", koji se nalazi tik uz derutni objekt. Kad smo prije četiri mjeseca pisali o "Slatkom diskontu", gospodin Rupić nam je rekao da je taj objekt kupio na licitaciji te je najavio temeljitu obnovu objekta i njegovo stavljanje u funkciju hotela. Kao prepreku u realizaciji tog projekta naveo je dugotrajnost postupka u kojem mu stečajni upravitelj objekt treba predati u posjed, a dok se to ne napravi, ruke su mu vezane.

– Nažalost, do današnjeg dana ništa se nije promijenilo. Predmet je još na sudu. Pokušat ću riješiti barem onaj dio srušenog stabla što je ostao na krovu. Kontaktirat ću odvjetnika i stečajnu upraviteljicu – rekao nam je ovaj put vlasnik hotela "Art" Željko Rupić.
Kao što je već naglašeno, "Slatki diskont" nije jedini slučaj derutne zapuštenosti u Tršćanskoj ulici. Svi ti slučajevi popraćeni su opravdanom medijskom pažnjom. Neki su rezultirali pozitivnim promjenama. Primjer može biti objekt u Tršćanskoj 17. Dugo je nedovršena kuća na toj adresi izazivala glavobolju susjedima jer je postala okupljalište beskućnika i leglo glodavaca.
Vatrogasci su samo prošle godine intervenirali čak sedam puta zbog požara u toj kući. Nakon javnog svjedočenja ogorčenih susjeda, objekt je saniran. Postavljene su nove zaštitne ograde i lokoti, te je očišćena bujna vegetacija u okućnici. Dok bivši "Slatki diskont" ne postane dio hotela "Art", i to bi bio sasvim dovoljan napredak.
