Nešto se događa na Karepovcu, javljaju nam građani. Srećom, nema neugodnih mirisa, tek prašinu dižu kamioni angažirani na pripremnim radnjama za veliki početak treće faze sanacije Karepovca.
- Od sredine lipnja uveli smo izvođača tvrtku "GT Trade" u posao, te su počele aktivnosti oko radova na pristupnim putevima do lokacija gdje će se bušiti plinski zdenci. Plan je da se s bušenjem kreće krajem idućeg tjedna.

Vjerujemo da ne bi trebalo biti problema s neugodnim mirisima jer će se bušiti zdenac po zdenac, njih ukupno 82, a u svaki će se odmah stavljati čelične oplate oko rupe i zatrpavati.
Postoji mogućnost da se tek na kratko čuju neugodni mirisi. Znači, nema prenošenja materijala kao što je to bio slučaj u prvoj fazi kada je presloženo oko milijun kubika otpada, kada je bilo nemoguće da ne smrdi - kazao nam je Anto Krželj iz Službe za izgradnju i upravljanje razvojnim projektima Grada Splita.

Navodi kako predstojeći radovi u trećoj fazi zahtijevaju iskop značajno manje količine otpada, oko 2500 kubika, koji su nužni za potrebe ugradnje 82 plinska zdenca.
- To su vam dva "Čistoćina" kamiona materijala po zdencu. Prema planu, faza 3 traje 11 mjeseci, a kroz to vrijeme mjerit će se kvaliteta zraka i monitoring procjednih voda, te će se u slučaju ikakvih odstupanja vrijednosti, stati s bušenjem, odnosno poduzimati potrebne mjere - pojasnio nam je.
Prema projektu faza 3 sanacije odlagališta otpada Karepovac predviđa radove zatvaranja i konačnog prekrivanja postojećeg presloženog otpada završnim prekrivnim sustavom, izgradnju sustava aktivnog otplinjavanja (plinski zdenci, plinske instalacije...), i krajobraznu sanaciju prekrivenog dijela odlagališta.

Neugodni mirisi znači, mogući su tijekom narednih sedam mjeseci tijekom kojih će se bušiti zdenci, kao stoji u najavi projekta, dok se tijekom izvođenja radova prekrivanja presloženog otpada završnim prekrivnim sustavom te radova krajobraznog uređenja ne očekuje njihova pojava.
Iz ove perspektive zvuči nevjerojatno da će Karepovac jednog dana biti zelena površina s pinijama, crnim borom, koštelama i ostalim vrstama drveća.

Stanovnici s njegovih rubnih dijelova, odnosno Kile, Dračevca i Kamena, kao i oni iz Kučina i Mravinaca, desetljećima su gledali kako odlagalište raste poput kakvog čudovišta, borili se s plastičnim vrećicama i ostalim smećem koje je vjetar raznosio okolo i zatrpavao potoke koji su nekad tekli kroz polja. Jednom kada Karepovac bude i službeno zatvoren kao odlagalište, bit će to pravo čudo.

Nešto se događa na Karepovcu, javljaju nam građani. Srećom, nema neugodnih mirisa, tek prašinu dižu kamioni angažirani na pripremnim radnjama za veliki početak treće faze sanacije Karepovca.
- Od sredine lipnja uveli smo izvođača tvrtku "GT Trade" u posao, te su počele aktivnosti oko radova na pristupnim putevima do lokacija gdje će se bušiti plinski zdenci. Plan je da se s bušenjem kreće krajem idućeg tjedna.

Vjerujemo da ne bi trebalo biti problema s neugodnim mirisima jer će se bušiti zdenac po zdenac, njih ukupno 82, a u svaki će se odmah stavljati čelične oplate oko rupe i zatrpavati.
Postoji mogućnost da se tek na kratko čuju neugodni mirisi. Znači, nema prenošenja materijala kao što je to bio slučaj u prvoj fazi kada je presloženo oko milijun kubika otpada, kada je bilo nemoguće da ne smrdi - kazao nam je Anto Krželj iz Službe za izgradnju i upravljanje razvojnim projektima Grada Splita.

Navodi kako predstojeći radovi u trećoj fazi zahtijevaju iskop značajno manje količine otpada, oko 2500 kubika, koji su nužni za potrebe ugradnje 82 plinska zdenca.
- To su vam dva "Čistoćina" kamiona materijala po zdencu. Prema planu, faza 3 traje 11 mjeseci, a kroz to vrijeme mjerit će se kvaliteta zraka i monitoring procjednih voda, te će se u slučaju ikakvih odstupanja vrijednosti, stati s bušenjem, odnosno poduzimati potrebne mjere - pojasnio nam je.
Prema projektu faza 3 sanacije odlagališta otpada Karepovac predviđa radove zatvaranja i konačnog prekrivanja postojećeg presloženog otpada završnim prekrivnim sustavom, izgradnju sustava aktivnog otplinjavanja (plinski zdenci, plinske instalacije...), i krajobraznu sanaciju prekrivenog dijela odlagališta.

Neugodni mirisi znači, mogući su tijekom narednih sedam mjeseci tijekom kojih će se bušiti zdenci, kao stoji u najavi projekta, dok se tijekom izvođenja radova prekrivanja presloženog otpada završnim prekrivnim sustavom te radova krajobraznog uređenja ne očekuje njihova pojava.
Iz ove perspektive zvuči nevjerojatno da će Karepovac jednog dana biti zelena površina s pinijama, crnim borom, koštelama i ostalim vrstama drveća.

Stanovnici s njegovih rubnih dijelova, odnosno Kile, Dračevca i Kamena, kao i oni iz Kučina i Mravinaca, desetljećima su gledali kako odlagalište raste poput kakvog čudovišta, borili se s plastičnim vrećicama i ostalim smećem koje je vjetar raznosio okolo i zatrpavao potoke koji su nekad tekli kroz polja. Jednom kada Karepovac bude i službeno zatvoren kao odlagalište, bit će to pravo čudo.
