Posvetu nove crkve Svete Obitelji na Gospinu otoku u Solinu gledao sam "u živo" preko Laudato TV i bome su dobrano potrajali misa i obred - ukupno tri sata - koje je predvodio splitsko-makarski nadbiskup Marin Barišić. Na završetku slavlja primijetio sam kako je mons. Barišiću dok je procesija izlazila iz crkve jedan vjernik u prolazu vjerojatno kazao kako je bilo predugo, na što je nadbiskup pogledao na sat i slegnuo ramenima kao da govori: a je, malo je potrajalo...

Uistinu, trebalo je to sve skupa izdržati, međutim, buduća bazilika, za koju je već poslan zahtjev Svetoj Stolici koja treba odobriti taj naslov za neku crkvu, dugo se rađala i gradila punih sedam godina te je na kraju osvanula kao prava "ljepotica" za koju se isplatilo provesti tri sata puna liturgijskih simbola i znakova tijekom njezine "mlade mise", kako je cijeli događaj nazvao splitsko-makarski nadbiskup.

"Ovo je dan koji smo dugo čekali. Pred više od 80 godina želja je bila da se na Gospinu otoku, gdje je pobožna kraljica Jelena 976. godine dala podići prvu crkvu u Hrvata posvećenu Blaženoj Djevici Mariji, sagradi nova i veća crkva. Na ovom svetom tlu Lijepe naše, na tlu naše kolijevke i krstionice, formiranja nacionalnog identiteta i rađanja radosti zbog pripadnosti Katoličkoj crkvi, mjestu gdje smo započeli proslavu 13 stoljeća kršćanstva u Hrvata, konačno posvećujemo novoizgrađenu crkvu", istaknuo je među inim mons. Barišić u subotu 5. rujna, na dan posvete, kad je ujedno bio i blagdan svete Majke Tereze.

Ona je jedna od svetih ljudi koji su u ovo naše doba hodočastili na Gospin otok, drugi je nama svima dragi sveti papa Ivan Pavao II. koji se 4. listopada 1998. u Solinu susreo s hrvatskom mladeži. Kao još jednog od duhovnih velikana koji je pohodio naše Gospino prasvetište spomenimo i oca Antu Gabrića, isusovačkog misionara u dalekoj Indiji za kojeg se vodi postupak beatifikacije, koji je u Solinu 12. rujna 1976. bio "zvijezda" nacionalnog slavlja "Tisuću godina kraljice Jelene", kad su ga na kraju mladi Solinjani nosili na rukama.

U Solinu je zacijelo u više navrata bio i zagrebački nadbiskup blaženi Alojzije Stepinac, čiji će lik s njegovim moćima uskoro biti postavljen uz velebni mozaik "Nebeski Jeruzalem", koji je izradio jedan od najboljih suvremenih sakralnih umjetnika, slikar i kipar, isusovac otac Marko Rupnik.

Ulazeći u novu solinsku crkvu, pa i gledajući je izvana kroz otvorena vrata, "otvara se pogled na cilj, smisao i konačnu viziju ostvarenosti života te povijesti ljudske obitelji... a to je nebeski Jeruzalem kojeg obasjava slava Božja", ustvrdio je nadbiskup Barišić pojašnjavajući kako je bazilika posvećena svetoj nazaretskoj obitelji Isusa, Marije i Josipa u kojoj se može prepoznati svaka naša obitelj.

Mozaik je - po mom skromnom mišljenju - jedan od najljepših koji sam vidio u nekom crkvenom zdanju, a bio sam ako ništa drugo u sve četiri rimske bazilike, jer je umjetnik Rupnik vješto spojio tradiciju s modernim izričajem, pojačavajući doživljaj freskama po zidovima koje prikazuju povijest spasenja ljudskog roda.

Možda su svoje mjesto među hrvatskim blaženicima na mozaiku mogle naći i Drinske mučenice te svećenik mučenik iz Istre Miroslav Bulešić, no to je stvar umjetničke slobode. U svakom slučaju, mons. Marin Barišić je kao začetnik i "graditelj" bazilike Svete Obitelji u Solinu izgradio sebi spomenik trajniji od mjedi.

Posvetu nove crkve Svete Obitelji na Gospinu otoku u Solinu gledao sam "u živo" preko Laudato TV i bome su dobrano potrajali misa i obred - ukupno tri sata - koje je predvodio splitsko-makarski nadbiskup Marin Barišić. Na završetku slavlja primijetio sam kako je mons. Barišiću dok je procesija izlazila iz crkve jedan vjernik u prolazu vjerojatno kazao kako je bilo predugo, na što je nadbiskup pogledao na sat i slegnuo ramenima kao da govori: a je, malo je potrajalo...

Uistinu, trebalo je to sve skupa izdržati, međutim, buduća bazilika, za koju je već poslan zahtjev Svetoj Stolici koja treba odobriti taj naslov za neku crkvu, dugo se rađala i gradila punih sedam godina te je na kraju osvanula kao prava "ljepotica" za koju se isplatilo provesti tri sata puna liturgijskih simbola i znakova tijekom njezine "mlade mise", kako je cijeli događaj nazvao splitsko-makarski nadbiskup.

"Ovo je dan koji smo dugo čekali. Pred više od 80 godina želja je bila da se na Gospinu otoku, gdje je pobožna kraljica Jelena 976. godine dala podići prvu crkvu u Hrvata posvećenu Blaženoj Djevici Mariji, sagradi nova i veća crkva. Na ovom svetom tlu Lijepe naše, na tlu naše kolijevke i krstionice, formiranja nacionalnog identiteta i rađanja radosti zbog pripadnosti Katoličkoj crkvi, mjestu gdje smo započeli proslavu 13 stoljeća kršćanstva u Hrvata, konačno posvećujemo novoizgrađenu crkvu", istaknuo je među inim mons. Barišić u subotu 5. rujna, na dan posvete, kad je ujedno bio i blagdan svete Majke Tereze.

Ona je jedna od svetih ljudi koji su u ovo naše doba hodočastili na Gospin otok, drugi je nama svima dragi sveti papa Ivan Pavao II. koji se 4. listopada 1998. u Solinu susreo s hrvatskom mladeži. Kao još jednog od duhovnih velikana koji je pohodio naše Gospino prasvetište spomenimo i oca Antu Gabrića, isusovačkog misionara u dalekoj Indiji za kojeg se vodi postupak beatifikacije, koji je u Solinu 12. rujna 1976. bio "zvijezda" nacionalnog slavlja "Tisuću godina kraljice Jelene", kad su ga na kraju mladi Solinjani nosili na rukama.

U Solinu je zacijelo u više navrata bio i zagrebački nadbiskup blaženi Alojzije Stepinac, čiji će lik s njegovim moćima uskoro biti postavljen uz velebni mozaik "Nebeski Jeruzalem", koji je izradio jedan od najboljih suvremenih sakralnih umjetnika, slikar i kipar, isusovac otac Marko Rupnik.

Ulazeći u novu solinsku crkvu, pa i gledajući je izvana kroz otvorena vrata, "otvara se pogled na cilj, smisao i konačnu viziju ostvarenosti života te povijesti ljudske obitelji... a to je nebeski Jeruzalem kojeg obasjava slava Božja", ustvrdio je nadbiskup Barišić pojašnjavajući kako je bazilika posvećena svetoj nazaretskoj obitelji Isusa, Marije i Josipa u kojoj se može prepoznati svaka naša obitelj.

Mozaik je - po mom skromnom mišljenju - jedan od najljepših koji sam vidio u nekom crkvenom zdanju, a bio sam ako ništa drugo u sve četiri rimske bazilike, jer je umjetnik Rupnik vješto spojio tradiciju s modernim izričajem, pojačavajući doživljaj freskama po zidovima koje prikazuju povijest spasenja ljudskog roda.

Možda su svoje mjesto među hrvatskim blaženicima na mozaiku mogle naći i Drinske mučenice te svećenik mučenik iz Istre Miroslav Bulešić, no to je stvar umjetničke slobode. U svakom slučaju, mons. Marin Barišić je kao začetnik i "graditelj" bazilike Svete Obitelji u Solinu izgradio sebi spomenik trajniji od mjedi.

Mlada misa solinske bazilike

Posvetu nove crkve Svete Obitelji na Gospinu otoku u Solinu gledao sam "u živo" preko Laudato TV i bome su dobrano potrajali misa i obred - ukupno tri sata - koje je predvodio splitsko-makarski nadbiskup Marin Barišić. Na završetku slavlja primijetio sam kako je mons. Barišiću dok je procesija izlazila iz crkve jedan vjernik u prolazu vjerojatno kazao kako je bilo predugo, na što je nadbiskup pogledao na sat i slegnuo ramenima kao da govori: a je, malo je potrajalo...

Uistinu, trebalo je to sve skupa izdržati, međutim, buduća bazilika, za koju je već poslan zahtjev Svetoj Stolici koja treba odobriti taj naslov za neku crkvu, dugo se rađala i gradila punih sedam godina te je na kraju osvanula kao prava "ljepotica" za koju se isplatilo provesti tri sata puna liturgijskih...
