Nedavno smo pisali o cijenama sladoleda u centru Splita, koje su se kretale od 10 do maksimalnih 15 kuna, što je duplo više nego prije sedam godina. Mnogi su u komentarima pisali da su takve cifre uvjetovane tržištem, poskupljenjem nabave, vode i struje te visokim najmovima, pritom ističući da i 'ugostitelji moraju preživjeti' i predlagali kritičarima da, ako se uopće usude, sami otvore slastičarnu i na svojoj koži osjete kako je u pitanju krvavi posao.
Da se više niste usudili turiste šta u Splitu potroše samo na sladoled proglasit muktašima! ‘Čovik isprid mene skoro pa u nesvist kad je čuja koliko mora platit dvi kuglice‘
Od tada, gle čuda, nije prošlo ni dva tjedna, a još su se tri nova poduzetnika odlučila ući u mračni rudnik sladoledarenja. Koliko je u pitanju neprofitabilan pothvat najbolje oslikava Domaldova ulica u kojoj se, u svega dvadesetak metara, između dvije postojeće pašticerije sada smjestila - i treća. I ne samo to već ova, nazvana Gelateria Bono, potražnju zadovoljava najvišim cijenama dosad ikad viđenima u našem gradu, a koje se kreću od 13 za malu i 18 za veliku porciju u čašici s raznim dodacima.

Što se tiče običnih kugli, i tu imamo novog rekordera. To je slovenska franšiza Aroma na vrhu Bosanske, gdje ćete platiti (ili, vjerojatnije, nećete) 16 kuna za njihov osvježavajući užitak napravljen bez glutena, umjetnih aroma i pojačivača okusa. 'Mi smo svjesni da naše cijene nisu za domaće. Ali, što ćete, turisti su to spremni iskeširati', objašnjava nam nasmijana prodavačica. Ovaj tjedan je, po sredini Marmontove, bilo i otvorenje Gelato Gallery By Ganache gdje, osim sladoleda, prodaju i domaće, ručno rađene kolače. Ovdje je cijena, sada već lagano standardiziranih, 15 kuna.
Sigurno je da (pre)napumpane cijene najmova (od kojih šačica profitira, a većina Splićana ne može priuštiti ni, primjera radi, kuglicu sladoleda) diktiraju i to da ćete za tri kugle sladoleda izdvojiti skoro 50 kuna, kao i da ugostitelji trebaju namiriti zimski period u kojem poslovni promet u sladoledarnicama skoro pa ni ne postoji. Jasno, ovakve okolnosti diktiraju trenutni koncept sezonske stihije i grabeži te samo potvrđuje da jedna kugla sladoleda, kojom god tehnikom ona bila opjevana, sadržajno ne vrijedi ni približno toliko.
Ipak, a kako tržišno božanstvo nalaže, proizvod košta samo onoliko koliko je kupac to spreman platiti. Isto vrijedi i u suprotnom smjeru, nešto vrijedi upravo onoliko za koliko ga je netko spreman prodati. Mi smo, eto, svoj grad prodali za kuglicu sladoleda od 16 kuna koja, kažu prodavači, nije za nas. A kako će i biti kad nam Split danas toliko puno piza; puno više nego si Splićani to mogu priuštiti. To je valjda taj napredak kojem se već godinama nadamo, a kad toliko puno napreduješ - nema nazad.
Ali, kako kažu gospoda iz Monty Pythona, uvijek treba gledati svijetlu stranu života; manje ližite, a više lijte, jer kuglica slaje je skuplja od litre goriva.

Nedavno smo pisali o cijenama sladoleda u centru Splita, koje su se kretale od 10 do maksimalnih 15 kuna, što je duplo više nego prije sedam godina. Mnogi su u komentarima pisali da su takve cifre uvjetovane tržištem, poskupljenjem nabave, vode i struje te visokim najmovima, pritom ističući da i 'ugostitelji moraju preživjeti' i predlagali kritičarima da, ako se uopće usude, sami otvore slastičarnu i na svojoj koži osjete kako je u pitanju krvavi posao.

Od tada, gle čuda, nije prošlo ni dva tjedna, a još su se tri nova poduzetnika odlučila ući u mračni rudnik sladoledarenja. Koliko je u pitanju neprofitabilan pothvat najbolje oslikava Domaldova ulica u kojoj se, u svega dvadesetak metara, između dvije postojeće pašticerije sada smjestila - i treća. I ne samo to već ova, nazvana Gelateria Bono, potražnju zadovoljava najvišim cijenama dosad ikad viđenima u našem gradu, a koje se kreću od 13 za malu i 18 za veliku porciju u čašici s raznim dodacima.

Što se tiče običnih kugli, i tu imamo novog rekordera. To je slovenska franšiza Aroma na vrhu Bosanske, gdje ćete platiti (ili, vjerojatnije, nećete) 16 kuna za njihov osvježavajući užitak napravljen bez glutena, umjetnih aroma i pojačivača okusa. 'Mi smo svjesni da naše cijene nisu za domaće. Ali, što ćete, turisti su to spremni iskeširati', objašnjava nam nasmijana prodavačica. Ovaj tjedan je, po sredini Marmontove, bilo i otvorenje Gelato Gallery By Ganache gdje, osim sladoleda, prodaju i domaće, ručno rađene kolače. Ovdje je cijena, sada već lagano standardiziranih, 15 kuna.
Sigurno je da (pre)napumpane cijene najmova (od kojih šačica profitira, a većina Splićana ne može priuštiti ni, primjera radi, kuglicu sladoleda) diktiraju i to da ćete za tri kugle sladoleda izdvojiti skoro 50 kuna, kao i da ugostitelji trebaju namiriti zimski period u kojem poslovni promet u sladoledarnicama skoro pa ni ne postoji. Jasno, ovakve okolnosti diktiraju trenutni koncept sezonske stihije i grabeži te samo potvrđuje da jedna kugla sladoleda, kojom god tehnikom ona bila opjevana, sadržajno ne vrijedi ni približno toliko.
Ipak, a kako tržišno božanstvo nalaže, proizvod košta samo onoliko koliko je kupac to spreman platiti. Isto vrijedi i u suprotnom smjeru, nešto vrijedi upravo onoliko za koliko ga je netko spreman prodati. Mi smo, eto, svoj grad prodali za kuglicu sladoleda od 16 kuna koja, kažu prodavači, nije za nas. A kako će i biti kad nam Split danas toliko puno piza; puno više nego si Splićani to mogu priuštiti. To je valjda taj napredak kojem se već godinama nadamo, a kad toliko puno napreduješ - nema nazad.
Ali, kako kažu gospoda iz Monty Pythona, uvijek treba gledati svijetlu stranu života; manje ližite, a više lijte, jer kuglica slaje je skuplja od litre goriva.
