Dan nakon stravične prometne nesreće u zaseoku Sirotkovići između Gornjeg Sitnog i Srinjina u predgrađu Splita u kojoj je sudjelovao vozač "Prometovog" školskog autobusa G.L. i pet učenika koji su pukom srećom izbjegli tragediju, još se ne zna što je točno dovelo do prevrtanja minibusa s jedne ceste na drugu te proklizivanja i ponovnog prevrtavanja kroz dvorišta u Sirotkovićima.
Dvije ceste i dva dvorišta je vozilo prošlo svojim prevrtanjem i proklizavanjem zbog čega su mještani zahvaljivali Gospi od zdravlja što su svi, prema informacija iz KBC-a Split, prošli praktički neokrznuto s obzirom na sve. Izgledalo je užasno to vidjeti, rekli su nam svjedoci, a grozno je bilo vidjeti i autobus na licu mjesta. Krhotine stakla, slomljeni dijelovi autobusa, kišobran od učenika u blatu... Srećom, gore je izgledalo nego što je zapravo bilo. A mještani samo jedno pitanje imaju: gdje je ograda?
Dok direktor "Prometa" Stanko Sapunar čeka policijski očevid, sindikat vozača je, prema riječima Hrvoja Mlikote, stao iza kolege.
Prometni stručnjak profesor Željko Marušić je mišljenja da možda brzina nije bila prilagođena uvjetima na cesti u skladu sa Zakonom o sigurnosti prometa na cestama, a postavlja i pitanje je li vozač imao alkohola ili drugih zabranjenih supstanci, kao i je li eventulano koristio mobitel, što je standardna procedura u ovakvim situacijama.

Marušić je istaknuo kako cesta nije sigurna iz aspekta aktivne i pasivne sigurnosti:
- Nesreći je kumovalo loše stanje ceste, sklizak asfalt te eventulno nedovoljno dobre gume. To nisu elementi aktivne sigurnosti koji sprečavaju da ne dođe do gubitka upravljačke kontrole. U konkretnoj situaciji loša je i pasivna sigurnost jer je nedostajala zaštitna ograda koja bi smanjila rizik slijetanja ili ga spriječila.

Guma glavu čuva
- Ova nesreća je pokazala kolika je važno da se od 15. studenog vozi na zimskim gumama. Odredba o zimskim gumama trebala vrijediti barem za vozila javnog prometa, posebice školske autobuse.
Zimske gume su obavezne na prometnicama većinom smještenim u kontinentalnom dijelu Hrvatske, dok su u Dalmaciji gume, lanci ili zimska oprema obvezni kad temperatura padne ispod pet stupnjeva. U utorak u 13:20, kada se, prema podacima iz policije, dogodila nesreća temperatura izmjerena u Splitu je bila između 12 i 13 stupnjeva.
Prometni stručnjak na kraju zaključuje kako sve navedeno ne amnestira vozače, uključujući i vozača u ovom konkretnom slučaju:
- Brzinu vozila treba prilagoditi stanju na kolniku i karakteristikama vozila. Školski autobus treba voziti posebno odgovorno i oprezno, striktno poštujući prometne propise.

Dan nakon stravične prometne nesreće u zaseoku Sirotkovići između Gornjeg Sitnog i Srinjina u predgrađu Splita u kojoj je sudjelovao vozač "Prometovog" školskog autobusa G.L. i pet učenika koji su pukom srećom izbjegli tragediju, još se ne zna što je točno dovelo do prevrtanja minibusa s jedne ceste na drugu te proklizivanja i ponovnog prevrtavanja kroz dvorišta u Sirotkovićima.
Dvije ceste i dva dvorišta je vozilo prošlo svojim prevrtanjem i proklizavanjem zbog čega su mještani zahvaljivali Gospi od zdravlja što su svi, prema informacija iz KBC-a Split, prošli praktički neokrznuto s obzirom na sve. Izgledalo je užasno to vidjeti, rekli su nam svjedoci, a grozno je bilo vidjeti i autobus na licu mjesta. Krhotine stakla, slomljeni dijelovi autobusa, kišobran od učenika u blatu... Srećom, gore je izgledalo nego što je zapravo bilo. A mještani samo jedno pitanje imaju: gdje je ograda?
Dok direktor "Prometa" Stanko Sapunar čeka policijski očevid, sindikat vozača je, prema riječima Hrvoja Mlikote, stao iza kolege.
Prometni stručnjak profesor Željko Marušić je mišljenja da možda brzina nije bila prilagođena uvjetima na cesti u skladu sa Zakonom o sigurnosti prometa na cestama, a postavlja i pitanje je li vozač imao alkohola ili drugih zabranjenih supstanci, kao i je li eventulano koristio mobitel, što je standardna procedura u ovakvim situacijama.

Marušić je istaknuo kako cesta nije sigurna iz aspekta aktivne i pasivne sigurnosti:
- Nesreći je kumovalo loše stanje ceste, sklizak asfalt te eventulno nedovoljno dobre gume. To nisu elementi aktivne sigurnosti koji sprečavaju da ne dođe do gubitka upravljačke kontrole. U konkretnoj situaciji loša je i pasivna sigurnost jer je nedostajala zaštitna ograda koja bi smanjila rizik slijetanja ili ga spriječila.

Guma glavu čuva
- Ova nesreća je pokazala kolika je važno da se od 15. studenog vozi na zimskim gumama. Odredba o zimskim gumama trebala vrijediti barem za vozila javnog prometa, posebice školske autobuse.
Zimske gume su obavezne na prometnicama većinom smještenim u kontinentalnom dijelu Hrvatske, dok su u Dalmaciji gume, lanci ili zimska oprema obvezni kad temperatura padne ispod pet stupnjeva. U utorak u 13:20, kada se, prema podacima iz policije, dogodila nesreća temperatura izmjerena u Splitu je bila između 12 i 13 stupnjeva.
Prometni stručnjak na kraju zaključuje kako sve navedeno ne amnestira vozače, uključujući i vozača u ovom konkretnom slučaju:
- Brzinu vozila treba prilagoditi stanju na kolniku i karakteristikama vozila. Školski autobus treba voziti posebno odgovorno i oprezno, striktno poštujući prometne propise.
