Naš se narod užasno sekira trajanjem božićnih blagdana. Zabrinutošću ih ispunjava da će zakasniti ostaviti bor kod kontejnera za smeće i da će tkogod zbog toga pomisliti da su oni pravoslavci.

Svake im godine valja posebno napominjati dokad je prilično slaviti, no mišljenja se u ovoj stvari nešto razilaze. Kazat ću vam sada jedino autentično tumačenje blagdana koji su iza nas, sve što o njihovoj dužini zapravo trebate znati. Božićno je vrijeme dok vam se djeca ne vrate u Zagreb na fakultet. Kad sinove i kćeri ispratite na autobus, na kolodvoru se ugasi svjetlo u vašoj duši, nema razloga ni da više gore lampice na balkonu.

Oduzmite im štekate!

Čemeran je mnogima ovaj siječanj. Jezivo im je kad padne mrak i splitske se ulice isprazne kao transilvanijsko selo nedaleko od vampirskog zamka, ali ako mene pitate, nije ni ova pustoš, studen i vlaga bez ljepote. Dapače, prije bih to izabrao nego onu ljetnu gužvu, buku, vrućinu, smrad ulja iz friteza i kamene ploče ulijepljene sladoledima.

Imate li želju upoznati grad, sad je pravo vrijeme da vidite svaki natpis u kamenu, svaki stup, luk, portal i rozetu. Od Nepotove ulice, preko Papalićeve, Dioklecijanove, Dominisove, Adamove, sve vam se otvorilo oku otkako su restorani i konobe zatvoreni.

Mnogi su ugostitelji još početkom studenog na zaključanim vratima oglasili godišnji odmor za koji se ne zna koliko će točno trajati, ali svakako neće biti kraći od sto dvadeset dana, a možda i sto pedeset ćapaju. Kad vidite te bizarne natpise, gdje se godišnjim odmorom naziva potpuni nedostatak ambicije kuhara i konobara da rade za domaći svijet, da se s manjim zaradama sprema i poslužuje nekakva jednostavnija, skromnija hrana i piće za nas, da oprostite na izrazu, Hrvate, nije vam jasno zašto se uopće prepiremo tko bi trebao imati dozvolu da prostre stol na ulici i zasjeni ga tendom ili suncobranom, a kome biste tu povlasticu uskratili.

Onima na takozvanom godišnjem, koje zanima samo mlaćenje para u sezoni, prvima bi valjalo oduzeti štekate. Molim lijepo, ako nekim splitskim ugostiteljima njihovi sugrađani nisu dovoljno dobri gosti, zašto bi njima splitska gradska vlast puštala da koriste javne površine ulica i trgova?

Razmišljam o ovome u “NoStressu” na Narodnom trgu, lokalu u koji dolazim mnogo godina i za koji me vežu mnoge vesele uspomene, a i općenito je prepoznat po izvanrednoj hrani i nesumnjivo najljepšem gradskom štekatu. Od stolova i stolica, preko tavaja i tavajola do cvijeća i dekoracija, sve je ovdje uvijek prvorazredno.

Taj štekat, međutim, koji tu stoji posljednjih desetak godina gotovo bez prestanka, jedanaest mjeseci godišnje, i u kolovozu, kad je grad krcat, i u siječnju, kad samo sablasti kruže pustim ulicama, vlast je odlučila maknuti. Navodno se zamjenik gradonačelnika Bojan Ivošević osobito zainatio da to učini.

Špagetima po prolaznicima

Tu sam, napomenuo sam već, redovan gost, vlasnici Alfirevići su mi dragi prijatelji, neću tvrditi da sam u ovome objektivan. Naprotiv, doživljavam ovo osobno i ne skanjujem se to priznati jer mi se čini da to osobno doživljava i zamjenik gradonačelnika, koji se s Alfirevićem sukobio prije nekoliko godina, dok je još bio samo politički aktivist, u smiješnom slučaju kad je ugostitelja prijavio komunalnom redarstvu da mu je božićno drvo izvan gabarita štekata, kao da je ovaj između kuglica i girlandi, na crnogoričnom stablu posluživao kuhano vino i kobasice.

Ivošević je, čini se, dočekao svoj trenutak. Kad se na javnoj funkciji ukazala mogućnost da kazni one koji mu se ne dopadaju, to mu je jednostavno bilo neodoljivo. On će, naravno, kazati da nije tako. Za ono što se nama čini kao osobna netrpeljivost tvrdit će da je javni interes, da se ovdje odlučuje nepristrano, objektivno, po pravilima koja su za sve jednaka.

No, pravila tko bi smio posluživati hranu na otvorenom zapravo su vrlo neodređena i proizvoljna.

“NoStressu” će štekat biti uklonjen jer navodno ometa pješački promet na širokom Narodnom trgu, a u nekim uskim ulicama poput Dominisove, gdje se i dvoje anoreksičnih teško mimoiđu, turisti će i dalje na viljuškama vrtjeti špagete s plodovima mora pazeći da duguljastim komadom tjestenine ne ošinu kojeg prolaznika.

Želi li nas uvjeriti kako je pravedan i beskompromisan, zamjenik gradonačelnika morao bi se ozbiljnije potruditi.

Naš se narod užasno sekira trajanjem božićnih blagdana. Zabrinutošću ih ispunjava da će zakasniti ostaviti bor kod kontejnera za smeće i da će tkogod zbog toga pomisliti da su oni pravoslavci.

Svake im godine valja posebno napominjati dokad je prilično slaviti, no mišljenja se u ovoj stvari nešto razilaze. Kazat ću vam sada jedino autentično tumačenje blagdana koji su iza nas, sve što o njihovoj dužini zapravo trebate znati. Božićno je vrijeme dok vam se djeca ne vrate u Zagreb na fakultet. Kad sinove i kćeri ispratite na autobus, na kolodvoru se ugasi svjetlo u vašoj duši, nema razloga ni da više gore lampice na balkonu.

Oduzmite im štekate!

Čemeran je mnogima ovaj siječanj. Jezivo im je kad padne mrak i splitske se ulice isprazne kao transilvanijsko selo nedaleko od vampirskog zamka, ali ako mene pitate, nije ni ova pustoš, studen i vlaga bez ljepote. Dapače, prije bih to izabrao nego onu ljetnu gužvu, buku, vrućinu, smrad ulja iz friteza i kamene ploče ulijepljene sladoledima.

Imate li želju upoznati grad, sad je pravo vrijeme da vidite svaki natpis u kamenu, svaki stup, luk, portal i rozetu. Od Nepotove ulice, preko Papalićeve, Dioklecijanove, Dominisove, Adamove, sve vam se otvorilo oku otkako su restorani i konobe zatvoreni.

Mnogi su ugostitelji još početkom studenog na zaključanim vratima oglasili godišnji odmor za koji se ne zna koliko će točno trajati, ali svakako neće biti kraći od sto dvadeset dana, a možda i sto pedeset ćapaju. Kad vidite te bizarne natpise, gdje se godišnjim odmorom naziva potpuni nedostatak ambicije kuhara i konobara da rade za domaći svijet, da se s manjim zaradama sprema i poslužuje nekakva jednostavnija, skromnija hrana i piće za nas, da oprostite na izrazu, Hrvate, nije vam jasno zašto se uopće prepiremo tko bi trebao imati dozvolu da prostre stol na ulici i zasjeni ga tendom ili suncobranom, a kome biste tu povlasticu uskratili.

Onima na takozvanom godišnjem, koje zanima samo mlaćenje para u sezoni, prvima bi valjalo oduzeti štekate. Molim lijepo, ako nekim splitskim ugostiteljima njihovi sugrađani nisu dovoljno dobri gosti, zašto bi njima splitska gradska vlast puštala da koriste javne površine ulica i trgova?

Razmišljam o ovome u “NoStressu” na Narodnom trgu, lokalu u koji dolazim mnogo godina i za koji me vežu mnoge vesele uspomene, a i općenito je prepoznat po izvanrednoj hrani i nesumnjivo najljepšem gradskom štekatu. Od stolova i stolica, preko tavaja i tavajola do cvijeća i dekoracija, sve je ovdje uvijek prvorazredno.

Taj štekat, međutim, koji tu stoji posljednjih desetak godina gotovo bez prestanka, jedanaest mjeseci godišnje, i u kolovozu, kad je grad krcat, i u siječnju, kad samo sablasti kruže pustim ulicama, vlast je odlučila maknuti. Navodno se zamjenik gradonačelnika Bojan Ivošević osobito zainatio da to učini.

Špagetima po prolaznicima

Tu sam, napomenuo sam već, redovan gost, vlasnici Alfirevići su mi dragi prijatelji, neću tvrditi da sam u ovome objektivan. Naprotiv, doživljavam ovo osobno i ne skanjujem se to priznati jer mi se čini da to osobno doživljava i zamjenik gradonačelnika, koji se s Alfirevićem sukobio prije nekoliko godina, dok je još bio samo politički aktivist, u smiješnom slučaju kad je ugostitelja prijavio komunalnom redarstvu da mu je božićno drvo izvan gabarita štekata, kao da je ovaj između kuglica i girlandi, na crnogoričnom stablu posluživao kuhano vino i kobasice.

Ivošević je, čini se, dočekao svoj trenutak. Kad se na javnoj funkciji ukazala mogućnost da kazni one koji mu se ne dopadaju, to mu je jednostavno bilo neodoljivo. On će, naravno, kazati da nije tako. Za ono što se nama čini kao osobna netrpeljivost tvrdit će da je javni interes, da se ovdje odlučuje nepristrano, objektivno, po pravilima koja su za sve jednaka.

No, pravila tko bi smio posluživati hranu na otvorenom zapravo su vrlo neodređena i proizvoljna.

“NoStressu” će štekat biti uklonjen jer navodno ometa pješački promet na širokom Narodnom trgu, a u nekim uskim ulicama poput Dominisove, gdje se i dvoje anoreksičnih teško mimoiđu, turisti će i dalje na viljuškama vrtjeti špagete s plodovima mora pazeći da duguljastim komadom tjestenine ne ošinu kojeg prolaznika.

Želi li nas uvjeriti kako je pravedan i beskompromisan, zamjenik gradonačelnika morao bi se ozbiljnije potruditi.
