Moramo vam priznati da su nam već malo dosadile sve one foccacie koje u zadnje vrijeme svi peku pa se njima hvale po društvenim mrežama. Malo nam je dosta i svih onih totrtilla, bao pogačica, naan kruha i sličnih peciva. Zaželjeli smo se prave, domaće stvari. Somuna.
Lepinje meke k‘o duša, kako im često tepaju, veliki su specijalitet iz susjedne BiH, ali popularne su diljem Balkana. Sad bi im popularnost mogla doseći svjetsku razinu, jer poznata stranica Taste Atlas, gastronomski magazin za promociju svjetske gastronomije, upravo ih je stavila na popis najboljih peciva iz kategorije "flatbread".
Bosanskohercegovačka pekarska delikatesa dobila je visoke ocjene, čak četiri i pol zvjezdice, a evo kako ju je opisao Taste Atlas.
"Somun je plosnato pecivo od kvasca koje je popularno na cijelom Balkanu i sličan je pideu ili pitti. Obično se radi od kombinacije brašna, vode, soli i kvasca i peče se na starim pećima, no danas se somun uglavnom peče u pećnici na visokim temperaturama.
Ako se pravilno pripremi, unutrašnjost bi trebala biti malo šuplja i napuhana. Postoje mnoge varijante somuna, neki ih posipaju kimom ili sezamom, a drugi dodaju ulje u tijesto. Somun se uglavnom koristi jede uz ćevape i nešto je mekši od svoje srodnice lepinje. Pored toga je aromatičniji je i topi se u ustima".
Nedavno smo vam ponudili dobar recept za somune, a ovo je dobra prilika da vas na njega podsjetimo. Dobili smo ga od Teute Mihalić, zaljubljenice u kruh, peciva i kolače koju pratimo na @bakewithteuta.
Somuni
Sastojci:
250 ml tople vode
1 žličica šećera
7 g suhog kvasca
1 žličica soli
50 ml biljnog ulja
400 g brašna
Priprema:
Stavite kvasac da se diže u toploj vodi sa žličicom šećera, a brašno, ulje i sol stavite u posudu prikladnu za miješanje.
Kad kvasac nabuja dodajte ga brašnu pa sve dobro izmiješajte. Činit će vam se da je tijesto premekano, ali nemojte mu dodavati više brašna. Poklopite tijesto i ostavite ga da se diže.
Kad se udvostručilo, podijelite ga na loptice i uvaljajte ih u brašno. Svaku lopticu rastegnite u lepinju na limu obloženom papirom za pečenje pa površinu svake pritisnite prstima. Zarežite svaku nožem nekoliko puta uzduž i poprijeko, kako bi nastao karakteristični uzorak.
Lagano ih premažite vodom i stavite peći 15 minuta u pećnicu zagrijanu na 250 stupnjeva.

Moramo vam priznati da su nam već malo dosadile sve one foccacie koje u zadnje vrijeme svi peku pa se njima hvale po društvenim mrežama. Malo nam je dosta i svih onih totrtilla, bao pogačica, naan kruha i sličnih peciva. Zaželjeli smo se prave, domaće stvari. Somuna.
Lepinje meke k‘o duša, kako im često tepaju, veliki su specijalitet iz susjedne BiH, ali popularne su diljem Balkana. Sad bi im popularnost mogla doseći svjetsku razinu, jer poznata stranica Taste Atlas, gastronomski magazin za promociju svjetske gastronomije, upravo ih je stavila na popis najboljih peciva iz kategorije "flatbread".
Bosanskohercegovačka pekarska delikatesa dobila je visoke ocjene, čak četiri i pol zvjezdice, a evo kako ju je opisao Taste Atlas.
"Somun je plosnato pecivo od kvasca koje je popularno na cijelom Balkanu i sličan je pideu ili pitti. Obično se radi od kombinacije brašna, vode, soli i kvasca i peče se na starim pećima, no danas se somun uglavnom peče u pećnici na visokim temperaturama.
Ako se pravilno pripremi, unutrašnjost bi trebala biti malo šuplja i napuhana. Postoje mnoge varijante somuna, neki ih posipaju kimom ili sezamom, a drugi dodaju ulje u tijesto. Somun se uglavnom koristi jede uz ćevape i nešto je mekši od svoje srodnice lepinje. Pored toga je aromatičniji je i topi se u ustima".
Nedavno smo vam ponudili dobar recept za somune, a ovo je dobra prilika da vas na njega podsjetimo. Dobili smo ga od Teute Mihalić, zaljubljenice u kruh, peciva i kolače koju pratimo na @bakewithteuta.
Somuni
Sastojci:
250 ml tople vode
1 žličica šećera
7 g suhog kvasca
1 žličica soli
50 ml biljnog ulja
400 g brašna
Priprema:
Stavite kvasac da se diže u toploj vodi sa žličicom šećera, a brašno, ulje i sol stavite u posudu prikladnu za miješanje.
Kad kvasac nabuja dodajte ga brašnu pa sve dobro izmiješajte. Činit će vam se da je tijesto premekano, ali nemojte mu dodavati više brašna. Poklopite tijesto i ostavite ga da se diže.
Kad se udvostručilo, podijelite ga na loptice i uvaljajte ih u brašno. Svaku lopticu rastegnite u lepinju na limu obloženom papirom za pečenje pa površinu svake pritisnite prstima. Zarežite svaku nožem nekoliko puta uzduž i poprijeko, kako bi nastao karakteristični uzorak.
Lagano ih premažite vodom i stavite peći 15 minuta u pećnicu zagrijanu na 250 stupnjeva.
