Velik broj ljudi koji žive na moru jedva čeka za mnoge najljepše doba u godini – bablje ljeto.
Kako stoji na blogu Meteo-info.hr, razdoblje je to jeseni koje nastupa nakon astronomskog početka jeseni, no nakon što je već nastupilo razdoblje hladnijeg vremena. Karakteriziraju ga sunčani i ugodni, natprosječno topli dani, a u zraku je prisutna izmaglica. Vjetar je uglavnom slab i puše iz smjera juga. Noći su vedre i hladne. Bablje ljeto obično traje oko tjedan dana, no može trajati i duže. U nekim godinama se takav period ugodnog vremena javi i nekoliko puta tijekom jeseni, dok se drugih godina uopće ne javi.
Upravo su tijekom takvih dana naši fotoreporteri znali zabilježiti one najljepše prizore s plaža. Dok je ljeto sinonim za zabavu, bablje ljeto simbolizira mir, ali i iskorištavanje onih zadnjih zraka sunca prije nego dođe prava jesen. Opjevano je ovo razdoblje i u brojnim skladbama poput primjerice 'L’été indien' Joea Dassina ili 'Indian Summer' The Doorsa (u Francuskoj i Americi koristi se naziv indijansko ljeto), a evo kako nastaje to slavno indijansko, odnosno bablje ljeto.

Meteo-info.hr objašnjava kako sinoptičke situacije koje favoriziraju pojavu natprosječno toplih jesenjih dana odlikuje polje visokog tlaka zraka, čiji se centar nalazi nad središnjom Europom (srednjoeuropske anticiklone) ili pak na jugoistoku kontinenta. S obzirom na to da se zrak oko središta visokog tlaka giba u smjeru kazaljki na satu, u naše krajeve tada pritječe topao zrak s juga. Taj topliji zrak je zapravo i uzrok natprosječno visokim temperaturama, naravno u kombinaciji s još uvijek dovoljno dugim danima da dolazno Sunčevo zračenje zagrije Zemljinu površinu. Noći su vedre pa Zemlja gubi energiju zbog svog dugovalnog zračenja (oblačne noći su toplije jer jedan dio dugovalnog zračenja Zemlje apsorbiraju oblaci). Takvo blago razdoblje završi kad se pojavi sustav niskog tlaka zraka i hladna fronta prođe područjem – objašnjavaju na Meteo-info.hr
Što se samog naziva tiče, postoji nekoliko teorija zašto se ovo doba godine doživljava upravo - babljim ljetom. Jedna od onih koja se najčešće spominje jest ona priča paučini.
- Naziv pojave neki tumače češkim pojmom “babi leto”, kojim se naziva paučina koju u to doba pletu pauci, a ona, nošena vjetrom, leti po zraku i lijepi se za kosu, lice i ruke. Može ju se vidjeti i na drveću, travi i živicama – piše Meteo-info.hr.
U Bugarskoj se, recimo, ono naziva ciganskim ljetom, a kod nas se ovo razdoblje vezuje i uz blagdane. Bablje ljeto tako znamo nazivati Miholjskim ljetom, prema sv. Mihaelu (29. rujna), ali i Martinjsko ljeto prema blagdanu svetog Martina koji se obilježava 11. studenoga.

Velik broj ljudi koji žive na moru jedva čeka za mnoge najljepše doba u godini – bablje ljeto.
Kako stoji na blogu Meteo-info.hr, razdoblje je to jeseni koje nastupa nakon astronomskog početka jeseni, no nakon što je već nastupilo razdoblje hladnijeg vremena. Karakteriziraju ga sunčani i ugodni, natprosječno topli dani, a u zraku je prisutna izmaglica. Vjetar je uglavnom slab i puše iz smjera juga. Noći su vedre i hladne. Bablje ljeto obično traje oko tjedan dana, no može trajati i duže. U nekim godinama se takav period ugodnog vremena javi i nekoliko puta tijekom jeseni, dok se drugih godina uopće ne javi.
Upravo su tijekom takvih dana naši fotoreporteri znali zabilježiti one najljepše prizore s plaža. Dok je ljeto sinonim za zabavu, bablje ljeto simbolizira mir, ali i iskorištavanje onih zadnjih zraka sunca prije nego dođe prava jesen. Opjevano je ovo razdoblje i u brojnim skladbama poput primjerice 'L’été indien' Joea Dassina ili 'Indian Summer' The Doorsa (u Francuskoj i Americi koristi se naziv indijansko ljeto), a evo kako nastaje to slavno indijansko, odnosno bablje ljeto.

Meteo-info.hr objašnjava kako sinoptičke situacije koje favoriziraju pojavu natprosječno toplih jesenjih dana odlikuje polje visokog tlaka zraka, čiji se centar nalazi nad središnjom Europom (srednjoeuropske anticiklone) ili pak na jugoistoku kontinenta. S obzirom na to da se zrak oko središta visokog tlaka giba u smjeru kazaljki na satu, u naše krajeve tada pritječe topao zrak s juga. Taj topliji zrak je zapravo i uzrok natprosječno visokim temperaturama, naravno u kombinaciji s još uvijek dovoljno dugim danima da dolazno Sunčevo zračenje zagrije Zemljinu površinu. Noći su vedre pa Zemlja gubi energiju zbog svog dugovalnog zračenja (oblačne noći su toplije jer jedan dio dugovalnog zračenja Zemlje apsorbiraju oblaci). Takvo blago razdoblje završi kad se pojavi sustav niskog tlaka zraka i hladna fronta prođe područjem – objašnjavaju na Meteo-info.hr
Što se samog naziva tiče, postoji nekoliko teorija zašto se ovo doba godine doživljava upravo - babljim ljetom. Jedna od onih koja se najčešće spominje jest ona priča paučini.
- Naziv pojave neki tumače češkim pojmom “babi leto”, kojim se naziva paučina koju u to doba pletu pauci, a ona, nošena vjetrom, leti po zraku i lijepi se za kosu, lice i ruke. Može ju se vidjeti i na drveću, travi i živicama – piše Meteo-info.hr.
U Bugarskoj se, recimo, ono naziva ciganskim ljetom, a kod nas se ovo razdoblje vezuje i uz blagdane. Bablje ljeto tako znamo nazivati Miholjskim ljetom, prema sv. Mihaelu (29. rujna), ali i Martinjsko ljeto prema blagdanu svetog Martina koji se obilježava 11. studenoga.
