Tri stotine šezdeset i pet centimetara dugačak aligator 3. je kolovoza napao vatrogasca J. C. La Verdea dok je ovaj u jezeru Thonotosassa nedaleko od grada Tampe u američkoj saveznoj državi Floridi trenirao za triatlon, piše Daily Mail.
Dron je snimio trenutak kada je aligator napao La Verdea, bivšeg pripadnika jednog od spasilačkih odreda Ratnog zrakoplovstva SAD-a. La Verde se počeo braniti čim ga je napao ovaj poveći gmaz, piše Jutarnji list.

- Zamahnuo sam bio desnom rukom i osjetio samo zube i ljuske. Mislim da sam odmah pokušao otvoriti njegova usta. Osjećam kao da sam to pokušao napraviti. Kada sam osjetio zube, odmah sam znao. ---La Verde se potom uspio dočepati obale jezera i kontaktirati Policijsku upravu Okruga Hillsborough. Slučajni prolaznik odvezao je La Verdea u obližnju bolnicu.
Aligator je vatrogascu nanio ozbiljne ozljede glave i lica, a probio mu je i mozak. La Verde je odmah podvrgnut višesatnoj operaciji tijekom kojem su mu liječnici popravili i rekonstruirali lubanju i čeljust. La Verde nema kostiju na desno strani svoje glave, a čeljust će mu narednih nekoliko tjedana biti povezana žicom. Vatrogasac je iz bolnice pušten 12. kolovoza, a u budućnosti će morati na još jednu operaciju.
- Ako na ovo gledate kao na bilo što osim čuda, onda ste blesavi. Taj je stvor bio ogroman. To nije bio mali aligator. Bilo bi smiješno da je bio malen - rekao je La Verde za ABC.

---Video napada nehotice je snimio La Verdeov prijatelj koji radi za vatrogaščevu tvrtku Defeat X. On je tog 3. kolovoza za Defeat X snimao promotivni video. La Verde organizira utrke na otvorenom, uključujući i triatlone, a zna u njima i sudjelovati.
- Kada sam se probudio toga dana, samo sam razmišljao o promoviranju naše utrke. Želio sam napraviti taj video, htio sam proširiti riječ o utrci. Imao sam plan, no njega je omeo 3,6 metara dugačak prahistorijski bijes - napisao je La Verde u opisu videa koji je Defeat X objavio na internetu.
- Malo me sramota što to govorim, ali kada me taj aligator držao u ustima, kada je remetio moj plan za taj dan, bio sam jako živčan. Nije mi dao da radim ono što sam htio. Toliko se trudim ostvariti cilj koji si zacrtam i u koji vjerujem. Međutim, onda me pustila i počeo sam plivati. Brže i jače nego ikad, ali u drugom smjeru jer su mi se planovi promijenili. Ponekad se planovi mijenjaju. Kada se promijene, onda morate plivati jače nego što ste ikada prije plivali - dodao je La Verde.
Vatrogasac je iz bolnice pušten 12. kolovoza, međutim ponovno je primljen nakon nekoliko dana jer se udario u glavu i iskusio "sinkopalnu epizodu".
Pokrenuta je i humanitarna akcija u sklopu koje se prikupljaju sredstva za La Verdea i njegovu suprugu Christine Rogers. Do sada je u sklopu iste prikupljeno 50 tisuća dolara, a cilj je da se taj iznos u konačnici popne na 80 tisuća, piše Jutarnji list.

Tri stotine šezdeset i pet centimetara dugačak aligator 3. je kolovoza napao vatrogasca J. C. La Verdea dok je ovaj u jezeru Thonotosassa nedaleko od grada Tampe u američkoj saveznoj državi Floridi trenirao za triatlon, piše Daily Mail.
Dron je snimio trenutak kada je aligator napao La Verdea, bivšeg pripadnika jednog od spasilačkih odreda Ratnog zrakoplovstva SAD-a. La Verde se počeo braniti čim ga je napao ovaj poveći gmaz, piše Jutarnji list.

---La Verde se potom uspio dočepati obale jezera i kontaktirati Policijsku upravu Okruga Hillsborough. Slučajni prolaznik odvezao je La Verdea u obližnju bolnicu.
Aligator je vatrogascu nanio ozbiljne ozljede glave i lica, a probio mu je i mozak. La Verde je odmah podvrgnut višesatnoj operaciji tijekom kojem su mu liječnici popravili i rekonstruirali lubanju i čeljust. La Verde nema kostiju na desno strani svoje glave, a čeljust će mu narednih nekoliko tjedana biti povezana žicom. Vatrogasac je iz bolnice pušten 12. kolovoza, a u budućnosti će morati na još jednu operaciju.
- Ako na ovo gledate kao na bilo što osim čuda, onda ste blesavi. Taj je stvor bio ogroman. To nije bio mali aligator. Bilo bi smiješno da je bio malen - rekao je La Verde za ABC.

---Video napada nehotice je snimio La Verdeov prijatelj koji radi za vatrogaščevu tvrtku Defeat X. On je tog 3. kolovoza za Defeat X snimao promotivni video. La Verde organizira utrke na otvorenom, uključujući i triatlone, a zna u njima i sudjelovati.
- Kada sam se probudio toga dana, samo sam razmišljao o promoviranju naše utrke. Želio sam napraviti taj video, htio sam proširiti riječ o utrci. Imao sam plan, no njega je omeo 3,6 metara dugačak prahistorijski bijes - napisao je La Verde u opisu videa koji je Defeat X objavio na internetu.
- Malo me sramota što to govorim, ali kada me taj aligator držao u ustima, kada je remetio moj plan za taj dan, bio sam jako živčan. Nije mi dao da radim ono što sam htio. Toliko se trudim ostvariti cilj koji si zacrtam i u koji vjerujem. Međutim, onda me pustila i počeo sam plivati. Brže i jače nego ikad, ali u drugom smjeru jer su mi se planovi promijenili. Ponekad se planovi mijenjaju. Kada se promijene, onda morate plivati jače nego što ste ikada prije plivali - dodao je La Verde.
Vatrogasac je iz bolnice pušten 12. kolovoza, međutim ponovno je primljen nakon nekoliko dana jer se udario u glavu i iskusio "sinkopalnu epizodu".
Pokrenuta je i humanitarna akcija u sklopu koje se prikupljaju sredstva za La Verdea i njegovu suprugu Christine Rogers. Do sada je u sklopu iste prikupljeno 50 tisuća dolara, a cilj je da se taj iznos u konačnici popne na 80 tisuća, piše Jutarnji list.
