"Elvisova ovisnost o drogama bila je preteška. Očajnički se pokušavalo skinuti ga s droga, ali to je bilo nemoguće. Ljudi pitaju: zašto nitko nije ništa učinio? To jednostavno nije istina. Elvisu bliski ljudi pokušavali su, ali vi Elvisu niste mogli govoriti što da radi. Jednostavno niste! Mislim, izletjeli biste istog trena!" - ispričala je, među ostalim, u najnovijem dokumentarcu Priscilla Presley o svom pokojnom mužu i za milijune fanova neprežaljenom kralju rock'n'rolla Elvisu Presleyju, koji je umro 1977. godine u 42. godini života.

Kako prenosi Daily Mail, za Elvisovu ovisnost Priscilla je okrivila i vojsku. U dokumentarcu je, naime, ustvrdila kako su, dok je služio u Njemačkoj, "vojnicima davali droge kako bi ostajali budni", te da je Elvis tako prvi put u životu došao u doticaj sa stimulansima.

"Elvis je znao što radi kad je umro!" - ustvrdila je po prvi put Priscilla, a njezinu priču potkrijepljuju pisma koja je svom prijatelju i menadžeru turneje Joeu Espositu pisao Elvis.



U dva pisma vidi se da je bio depresivan, navodio je kako mu je "dosta života" te da mu treba "dug odmor", prenosi Daily Mail.

"Meni je to jasan pokazatelj da je razmišljao o samoubojstvu" - potvrdio je i Elvisov polubrat Rick Stanley, koji je ustvrdio i kako "rukom pisane poruke izgledaju kao prave".

"Elvisova ovisnost o drogama bila je preteška. Očajnički se pokušavalo skinuti ga s droga, ali to je bilo nemoguće. Ljudi pitaju: zašto nitko nije ništa učinio? To jednostavno nije istina. Elvisu bliski ljudi pokušavali su, ali vi Elvisu niste mogli govoriti što da radi. Jednostavno niste! Mislim, izletjeli biste istog trena!" - ispričala je, među ostalim, u najnovijem dokumentarcu Priscilla Presley o svom pokojnom mužu i za milijune fanova neprežaljenom kralju rock'n'rolla Elvisu Presleyju, koji je umro 1977. godine u 42. godini života.

Kako prenosi Daily Mail, za Elvisovu ovisnost Priscilla je okrivila i vojsku. U dokumentarcu je, naime, ustvrdila kako su, dok je služio u Njemačkoj, "vojnicima davali droge kako bi ostajali budni", te da je Elvis tako prvi put u životu došao u doticaj sa stimulansima.

"Elvis je znao što radi kad je umro!" - ustvrdila je po prvi put Priscilla, a njezinu priču potkrijepljuju pisma koja je svom prijatelju i menadžeru turneje Joeu Espositu pisao Elvis.



U dva pisma vidi se da je bio depresivan, navodio je kako mu je "dosta života" te da mu treba "dug odmor", prenosi Daily Mail.

"Meni je to jasan pokazatelj da je razmišljao o samoubojstvu" - potvrdio je i Elvisov polubrat Rick Stanley, koji je ustvrdio i kako "rukom pisane poruke izgledaju kao prave".
