Mali stanovi i kuće često nude jako puno šarma, ali to obično prati i manjak kuhinjskog prostora pa treba biti dovitljiv i praktičan pri odabiru namještaja i aparata kako bi se raspoloživi kvadrati maksimalno iskoristili.
Naravno, tu su i brojne ideje kako mali prostor naizgled učiniti većim bez obzira uređujete li kuhinju od starta ili samo trebate neke novitete i osvježenje.
1. Bijela boja
Među glavnim savjetima za vizualno povećanje kuhinje je upotreba svijetlih boja, pri čemu je, dakako, i čista bijela uvijek dobar odabir jer reflektira svjetlost. Zbog toga će se prostor činiti većim, a za maksimalan učinak možete se odlučiti za bijele zidove i bijele kuhinjske elemente, pri čemu bi ipak bilo zanimljivo dodati neki detalj u živoj boji poput zidnih pločica u dijelu sa sudoperom ili možda hladnjaka u žutoj, crvenoj, zelenoj ili nekoj drugoj boji.

2. Jaka rasvjeta
Za trenutačnu promjenu okupajte kuhinju prirodnom i umjetnom svjetlošću koliko god je to moguće, visećim svjetiljkama iznad radnih površina, LED svjetlima u blizini elemenata i polica i slično, tako će sve biti svjetlije i izgledati veće.
3. Ogledala
Ako kuhinji nedostaje prirodnog svjetla, razmislite o tome da možda na dijelu zida iznad radnih površina, ispod elemenata ili polica stavite ogledalo koje će otvoriti prostor i "razbacivati" svjetlo unaokolo.
4. Otvorene police
Kako bi se kuhinja činila većom možete ukloniti viseće elemente i postaviti otvorene police koje su izuzetno funkcionalne i puno je lakše doći do potrebnih tanjura, čaša ili što se već na njima nalazi.

5 Organizacija prostora
A unutar elemenata u malome prostoru jedna od najvažnijih stvari je dobra organizacija raspoloživog prostora jer si ne možete priuštiti da je bilo koji dio neiskorišten. Radne površine često su nam zakrčene koječime, zbog čega prostor automatski izgleda manji, zbog toga s vremena na vrijeme treba napraviti čistku i riješiti se svih neiskorištenih stvari, plastičnih spremnika, nesparenog posuđa, kako bi prostor prodisao.

6. Pokretni otok
Ako nemate mogućnosti u kuhinju dodati otok, možda to možete napraviti uz pomoć pokretnog malog otoka s kotačićima koji može poslužiti i za pripremu i za odlaganje, ili nekog malog stolića na kojemu će se hrana pripremati i jesti, a kad nisu potrebni u kuhinji, možete ih lako odgurati u drugi dio stana, gdje mogu poslužiti kao bar kad vam gosti dođu. Ako je neki dio zida u kuhinji slobodan, na njega možete montirati „spuštajući” stol ili policu koje ćete spustiti uz zid, kad nisu potrebni za odlaganje ili objedovanje.
7. Okrugli stol
Ako u kuhinji imate mali kutak za jelo, najbolje je odabrati okrugli stol jer će tako prostor biti bolje iskorišten i može se smjestiti više osoba, a uz zid možete postaviti i klupu umjesto stolica.
8. Manji aparati
U malom kuhinjskom prostoru dobro će doći i manji aparati, koji su jednako kvalitetni kao i oni puno veći koji će samo "usisati" prostor. Treba svakako razmisliti i o kombiniranim aparatima kojih također ima na tržištu, te na taj način smanjiti količinu elemenata i aparata u kuhinji.
9. Sudoper s pokrovom
Možete izabrati i manji sudoper, ili odabrati nešto veći s "pokrovom", pa imate pristojan sudoper kad vam treba, a kad ga "zatvorite" dobivate dodatnu površinu za pripremu hrane.
10. Podovi s uzorkom
Podovi su obično površine o kojima se ne razmišlja previše kad su kuhinje u pitanju, ali pod s nekim uzorkom će dati iluziju šireg prostora. I dobar prostirač dat će dozu topline kuhinji koja će izgledati kao povezaniji prostor, naročito ako je cijela kuhinja smještena uz jedan zid i nije zasebna prostorija.

11. Biljke
Biljke će svakako oživjeti prostor, koliko god on malen bio. Mogu to biti začinske biljke koje koristite u kuhanju ili neko drugo zelenilo. Ako imate prozor u kuhinji, na prozorsku dasku možete poslagati biljke ili ih smjestiti u neki kut, uz elemente, ali svakako treba paziti da ne budu prevelike.
12. Neka vise tave
Ako vam lonci, tave i drugo posuđe oduzimaju dragocjeni prostor u elementima, možete postaviti viseći stalak na koji ćete ih objesiti, uz zid ili iznad radne površine, bit će vam nadohvat ruke i oslobodit ćete prostor za druge neophodne predmete.
Slično možete napraviti i sa šalicama koje ćete objesiti na "vješalice” na zidu ili nabaviti "stablo” koje će stajati na radnom prostoru. Šalice će na taj način postati i dekorativni element u kuhinji.

Mali stanovi i kuće često nude jako puno šarma, ali to obično prati i manjak kuhinjskog prostora pa treba biti dovitljiv i praktičan pri odabiru namještaja i aparata kako bi se raspoloživi kvadrati maksimalno iskoristili.
Naravno, tu su i brojne ideje kako mali prostor naizgled učiniti većim bez obzira uređujete li kuhinju od starta ili samo trebate neke novitete i osvježenje.
1. Bijela boja
Među glavnim savjetima za vizualno povećanje kuhinje je upotreba svijetlih boja, pri čemu je, dakako, i čista bijela uvijek dobar odabir jer reflektira svjetlost. Zbog toga će se prostor činiti većim, a za maksimalan učinak možete se odlučiti za bijele zidove i bijele kuhinjske elemente, pri čemu bi ipak bilo zanimljivo dodati neki detalj u živoj boji poput zidnih pločica u dijelu sa sudoperom ili možda hladnjaka u žutoj, crvenoj, zelenoj ili nekoj drugoj boji.

2. Jaka rasvjeta
Za trenutačnu promjenu okupajte kuhinju prirodnom i umjetnom svjetlošću koliko god je to moguće, visećim svjetiljkama iznad radnih površina, LED svjetlima u blizini elemenata i polica i slično, tako će sve biti svjetlije i izgledati veće.
3. Ogledala
Ako kuhinji nedostaje prirodnog svjetla, razmislite o tome da možda na dijelu zida iznad radnih površina, ispod elemenata ili polica stavite ogledalo koje će otvoriti prostor i "razbacivati" svjetlo unaokolo.
4. Otvorene police
Kako bi se kuhinja činila većom možete ukloniti viseće elemente i postaviti otvorene police koje su izuzetno funkcionalne i puno je lakše doći do potrebnih tanjura, čaša ili što se već na njima nalazi.

5 Organizacija prostora
A unutar elemenata u malome prostoru jedna od najvažnijih stvari je dobra organizacija raspoloživog prostora jer si ne možete priuštiti da je bilo koji dio neiskorišten. Radne površine često su nam zakrčene koječime, zbog čega prostor automatski izgleda manji, zbog toga s vremena na vrijeme treba napraviti čistku i riješiti se svih neiskorištenih stvari, plastičnih spremnika, nesparenog posuđa, kako bi prostor prodisao.

6. Pokretni otok
Ako nemate mogućnosti u kuhinju dodati otok, možda to možete napraviti uz pomoć pokretnog malog otoka s kotačićima koji može poslužiti i za pripremu i za odlaganje, ili nekog malog stolića na kojemu će se hrana pripremati i jesti, a kad nisu potrebni u kuhinji, možete ih lako odgurati u drugi dio stana, gdje mogu poslužiti kao bar kad vam gosti dođu. Ako je neki dio zida u kuhinji slobodan, na njega možete montirati „spuštajući” stol ili policu koje ćete spustiti uz zid, kad nisu potrebni za odlaganje ili objedovanje.
7. Okrugli stol
Ako u kuhinji imate mali kutak za jelo, najbolje je odabrati okrugli stol jer će tako prostor biti bolje iskorišten i može se smjestiti više osoba, a uz zid možete postaviti i klupu umjesto stolica.
8. Manji aparati
U malom kuhinjskom prostoru dobro će doći i manji aparati, koji su jednako kvalitetni kao i oni puno veći koji će samo "usisati" prostor. Treba svakako razmisliti i o kombiniranim aparatima kojih također ima na tržištu, te na taj način smanjiti količinu elemenata i aparata u kuhinji.
9. Sudoper s pokrovom
Možete izabrati i manji sudoper, ili odabrati nešto veći s "pokrovom", pa imate pristojan sudoper kad vam treba, a kad ga "zatvorite" dobivate dodatnu površinu za pripremu hrane.
10. Podovi s uzorkom
Podovi su obično površine o kojima se ne razmišlja previše kad su kuhinje u pitanju, ali pod s nekim uzorkom će dati iluziju šireg prostora. I dobar prostirač dat će dozu topline kuhinji koja će izgledati kao povezaniji prostor, naročito ako je cijela kuhinja smještena uz jedan zid i nije zasebna prostorija.

11. Biljke
Biljke će svakako oživjeti prostor, koliko god on malen bio. Mogu to biti začinske biljke koje koristite u kuhanju ili neko drugo zelenilo. Ako imate prozor u kuhinji, na prozorsku dasku možete poslagati biljke ili ih smjestiti u neki kut, uz elemente, ali svakako treba paziti da ne budu prevelike.
12. Neka vise tave
Ako vam lonci, tave i drugo posuđe oduzimaju dragocjeni prostor u elementima, možete postaviti viseći stalak na koji ćete ih objesiti, uz zid ili iznad radne površine, bit će vam nadohvat ruke i oslobodit ćete prostor za druge neophodne predmete.
Slično možete napraviti i sa šalicama koje ćete objesiti na "vješalice” na zidu ili nabaviti "stablo” koje će stajati na radnom prostoru. Šalice će na taj način postati i dekorativni element u kuhinji.

Ako imate mogućnosti za veće zahvate u stanu, svakako vrijedi razmisliti o rušenju zida koji zatvara kuhinju, na taj način ćete moći puno više napraviti u uređenju kuhinje i pretvoriti je u dio puno većeg otvorenog prostora...
