Neobjašnjivi slučajevi teškog hepatitisa koji su prijavljeni u gotovo 400 djece u svijetu, mogli bi biti posljedica niza promjena u organizmu potaknutih neprepoznatom zarazom koronavirusom SARS-CoV2, kažu znanstvenici. 

U djece oboljele od covida-19 uočen je znatno veći rizik od disfunkcije jetre nakon određenog vremena, pokazuju rezultati studije objavljeni na internetskoj stranici medRxiv koja još nije prošla stručnu recenziju.

Zamijećeno je da roditelji većine djece s akutnim hepatitisom, rijetke bolesti u toj dobnoj skupini, nisu prijavili prethodno preboljelu infekciju SARS-CoVom-2.

Utvrđeno je da je većina oboljelih bila zaražena adenovirusom zvanim 41F, a u medicini nije poznato da taj virus napada jetru.

Moguće je da su oboljela djeca, a većina ih se nije cijepila zbog životne dobi, imala blage ili asimptomatske infekcije covidom koje su prošle neopaženo, pretpostavljaju znanstvenici koji su svoja opažanja objavili u časopisu The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology.

Ostaci u gastrointestinalnom traktu

Ako je njihova pretpostavka točna, ostaci koronavirusa koji se zadržavaju u gastrointestinalnom traktu djece mogli bi potaknuti imunosni sustav na pretjeranu reakciju na adenovirus-41F pa bi velika količina upalnih proteina u konačnici mogla oštetiti jetru.

"Preporučujemo da se u djece s akutnim hepatitisom ispita prisutnost SARS-CoVa-2 u stolici" te da se obrati pozornost na ostale signale koji upućuju na oštećenja jetre jer je šiljak proteina koronavirusa "superantigen" koji imunosni sustav čini pretjerano osjetljivim, kazali su.

WHO je prošli utorak potvrdio da je dosad u svijetu među djecom identificirano 348 slučajeva hepatitisa nepoznatog porijekla i da znanstvenici istražuju moguću povezanost adenovirusa sa zarazom covidom-19.

Neobjašnjivi slučajevi teškog hepatitisa koji su prijavljeni u gotovo 400 djece u svijetu, mogli bi biti posljedica niza promjena u organizmu potaknutih neprepoznatom zarazom koronavirusom SARS-CoV2, kažu znanstvenici. 

U djece oboljele od covida-19 uočen je znatno veći rizik od disfunkcije jetre nakon određenog vremena, pokazuju rezultati studije objavljeni na internetskoj stranici medRxiv koja još nije prošla stručnu recenziju.

Zamijećeno je da roditelji većine djece s akutnim hepatitisom, rijetke bolesti u toj dobnoj skupini, nisu prijavili prethodno preboljelu infekciju SARS-CoVom-2.

Utvrđeno je da je većina oboljelih bila zaražena adenovirusom zvanim 41F, a u medicini nije poznato da taj virus napada jetru.

Moguće je da su oboljela djeca, a većina ih se nije cijepila zbog životne dobi, imala blage ili asimptomatske infekcije covidom koje su prošle neopaženo, pretpostavljaju znanstvenici koji su svoja opažanja objavili u časopisu The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology.

Ostaci u gastrointestinalnom traktu

Ako je njihova pretpostavka točna, ostaci koronavirusa koji se zadržavaju u gastrointestinalnom traktu djece mogli bi potaknuti imunosni sustav na pretjeranu reakciju na adenovirus-41F pa bi velika količina upalnih proteina u konačnici mogla oštetiti jetru.

"Preporučujemo da se u djece s akutnim hepatitisom ispita prisutnost SARS-CoVa-2 u stolici" te da se obrati pozornost na ostale signale koji upućuju na oštećenja jetre jer je šiljak proteina koronavirusa "superantigen" koji imunosni sustav čini pretjerano osjetljivim, kazali su.

WHO je prošli utorak potvrdio da je dosad u svijetu među djecom identificirano 348 slučajeva hepatitisa nepoznatog porijekla i da znanstvenici istražuju moguću povezanost adenovirusa sa zarazom covidom-19.

Neobjašnjivi slučajevi teškog hepatitisa koji su prijavljeni u gotovo 400 djece u svijetu, mogli bi biti posljedica niza promjena u organizmu potaknutih neprepoznatom zarazom koronavirusom SARS-CoV2, kažu znanstvenici. 

U djece oboljele od covida-19 uočen je znatno veći rizik od disfunkcije jetre nakon određenog vremena, pokazuju rezultati studije objavljeni na internetskoj stranici medRxiv koja još nije prošla stručnu recenziju.
