Konzumiranje previše masne hrane i debljina mogu pogoršati izglede za izlječenje raka dojke, kažu kineski znanstvenici u istraživanju koje je u SAD-u objavio Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Prehrana s visokim udjelom masti "čimbenik je visokog rizika za malignu progresiju raka kroz poremećaj crijevne mikrobiote", prema znanstvenicima koji su rekli i da je "crijevna mikrobiota povezana s pretilošću vezana i uz lošiju prognozu" kod pacijentica s rakom dojke.

Tim, predvođen liječnicima i znanstvenicima sa Sveučilišta Sun Yat-Sen u Guangzhou, upozorio je da bi pretilost "mogla pridonijeti ubrzanju progresije tumora ili umanjiti učinkovitost kemoterapije, što u konačnici dovodi do lošije prognoze".

Testovi i analize pokazali su da crijevna mikrobiota povezana s prehranom bogatom mastima uzrokuje da tijelo proizvodi previše aminokiseline leucina što je proces za koji kažu da potiče "ubrzano napredovanje i pogoršanje ishoda raka dojke i melanoma".

U isto vrijeme, međutim, testovi ukazuju na vezu crijeva-koštana srž-tumor što bi zauzvrat moglo pokazati "široki put za terapeutske strategije protiv raka" temeljene na ciljanju crijeva.

Druga su istraživanja ukazala na višak kilograma kao uzrok raka, prema Sveučilištu Texas.

Broj ljudi diljem svijeta klasificiranih kao pretili udvostručio se na gotovo 900 milijuna između 1990. i 2022., prema podacima koje je prikupila Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija, koja također  procjenjuje da oko 2,5 milijarde odraslih ljudi u svijetu ima prekomjernu težinu.

Konzumiranje previše masne hrane i debljina mogu pogoršati izglede za izlječenje raka dojke, kažu kineski znanstvenici u istraživanju koje je u SAD-u objavio Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Prehrana s visokim udjelom masti "čimbenik je visokog rizika za malignu progresiju raka kroz poremećaj crijevne mikrobiote", prema znanstvenicima koji su rekli i da je "crijevna mikrobiota povezana s pretilošću vezana i uz lošiju prognozu" kod pacijentica s rakom dojke.

Tim, predvođen liječnicima i znanstvenicima sa Sveučilišta Sun Yat-Sen u Guangzhou, upozorio je da bi pretilost "mogla pridonijeti ubrzanju progresije tumora ili umanjiti učinkovitost kemoterapije, što u konačnici dovodi do lošije prognoze".

Druga su istraživanja ukazala na višak kilograma kao uzrok raka, prema Sveučilištu Texas.

Broj ljudi diljem svijeta klasificiranih kao pretili udvostručio se na gotovo 900 milijuna između 1990. i 2022., prema podacima koje je prikupila Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija, koja također  procjenjuje da oko 2,5 milijarde odraslih ljudi u svijetu ima prekomjernu težinu.

Posljednja istraživanja dokazuju da pretilost i prehrana bogata masnoćama mogu otežati liječenje raka dojke

Konzumiranje previše masne hrane i debljina mogu pogoršati izglede za izlječenje raka dojke, kažu kineski znanstvenici u istraživanju koje je u SAD-u objavio Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Prehrana s visokim udjelom masti "čimbenik je visokog rizika za malignu progresiju raka kroz poremećaj crijevne mikrobiote", prema znanstvenicima koji su rekli i da je "crijevna mikrobiota povezana s pretilošću vezana i uz lošiju prognozu" kod pacijentica s rakom dojke.

Tim, predvođen liječnicima i znanstvenicima sa Sveučilišta Sun Yat-Sen u Guangzhou, upozorio je da bi pretilost "mogla pridonijeti ubrzanju progresije tumora ili umanjiti učinkovitost kemoterapije, što u konačnici dovodi do lošije prognoze".
