Bolest zvana donovanoza se manifestira kroz formiranje čireva na genitalijama. To se može dogoditi i kod muškaraca i kod žena, ali kod muškaraca se bolest pojavljuje dva puta češće nego kod žena. Donovanoza je poznata i kao "Granuloma inguinale" (ingvinalni granulom), to je spolno prenosiva bolest, ona može rezultirati destrukcijom inficiranog tkiva ako se nakon upale ne provede odgovarajuća terapija.

Za pojavu bolesti je odgovorna bakterija Klebsiella granulomatis, piše Deutsche Welle.

Tropska bolest

Ova tropska spolna bolest se primarno pojavljuje u zemljama poput Indije, Papue-Nove Gvineje, u središnjoj i sjevernoj Australiji. Ali je uočena i u Vijetnamu ili nekim afričkim državama. Donovanoza pripada u red takozvanih STD-ova, spolno prenosivih bolesti (Sexually Transmitted Diseases). U Europi je prilično rijetka. Na Starom kontinentu se na listi najčešćih spolnih bolesti još uvijek nalaze klamidije, sifilis ili gonoreja.

No, neki liječnici iz Velike Britanije sada upozoravaju na moguće širenje ove infekcijske bolesti. U toj je zemlji naime uočen porast broja registriranih slučajeva donovanoze.

Tijek bolesti

Obzirom da donovanoza ne izaziva bolove, često je oboljele osobe jednostavno previde. Na početku se na upalnim žarištima formiraju crvenkasti čvorići, koji onda relativno brzo nestanu. Ali onda se u njihovoj blizini počinju pojavljivati čirevi. Kad ih se dodirne, oni počinju krvariti. Mogu se pojaviti na raznim dijelovima tijela, ali uglavnom u području genitalija.

Kod muškaraca je posebno pogođen penis, kod žena unutarnja strana stidnih usana. Ako se infekciju ne uoči u ranoj fazi, odnosno ne tretira već na samom početku, pojavljuju se i gnojne otekline, a na koncu bolest uništava tkivo. Vrijeme inkubacije se razlikuje. Između infekcije i pojave donovanoze može proći između tjedna i 16 tjedana.

Dijagnoza

Većina ljudi koji se zaraze donovanozom su stari između 30 i 40 godina. Za potrebe dijagnoze liječnici uzimaju bris pogođenog dijela tijela, odnosno tkiva. U slučaju potrebe se radi i analiza stanica.

Liječnici tako mogu ustanoviti radi li se doista o donovanozi ili nekoj drugoj spolnoj bolesti sa sličnim simptomima. Na primjer o sifilisu, prenosi DW.COM.

Rani tretman bolesti jako važan

Ako je dijagnoza jednoznačna i jasna, liječnici pacijentima propisuju uglavnom antibiotike. Pod uvjetom da se bolest počne liječiti u ranoj fazi, moguće je kompletno ozdravljenje. A ako se radi već o naprednom stadiju, moguće posljedice su edemi, „stiskanje" mokraćne cijevi, vagine ili analnog kanala. A mogući su i trajni ožiljci.

U slučaju infekcije, ljudski organizam ne gradi imunitet protiv uzročnika bolesti, a to znači da nema zaštite od moguće nove infekcije.

Prevencija

Kao i kod svih drugih bolesti koje se prenosi seksualnim kontaktima i kod donovanoze vrijedi staro pravilo: najbolja zaštita od uzročnika infekcije prilikom seksa je korištenje kondoma. U tropskim zemljama ovo je endemska bolest.

U industrijskim zemljama poput Njemačke razne organizacije informiraju građane o donovanozi, ali i o drugim spolno prenosivim bolestima koje se može „pokupiti" prilikom boravka u inozemstvu.

Bolest zvana donovanoza se manifestira kroz formiranje čireva na genitalijama. To se može dogoditi i kod muškaraca i kod žena, ali kod muškaraca se bolest pojavljuje dva puta češće nego kod žena. Donovanoza je poznata i kao "Granuloma inguinale" (ingvinalni granulom), to je spolno prenosiva bolest, ona može rezultirati destrukcijom inficiranog tkiva ako se nakon upale ne provede odgovarajuća terapija.

Za pojavu bolesti je odgovorna bakterija Klebsiella granulomatis, piše Deutsche Welle.

Tropska bolest

Ova tropska spolna bolest se primarno pojavljuje u zemljama poput Indije, Papue-Nove Gvineje, u središnjoj i sjevernoj Australiji. Ali je uočena i u Vijetnamu ili nekim afričkim državama. Donovanoza pripada u red takozvanih STD-ova, spolno prenosivih bolesti (Sexually Transmitted Diseases). U Europi je prilično rijetka. Na Starom kontinentu se na listi najčešćih spolnih bolesti još uvijek nalaze klamidije, sifilis ili gonoreja.

No, neki liječnici iz Velike Britanije sada upozoravaju na moguće širenje ove infekcijske bolesti. U toj je zemlji naime uočen porast broja registriranih slučajeva donovanoze.

Tijek bolesti

Obzirom da donovanoza ne izaziva bolove, često je oboljele osobe jednostavno previde. Na početku se na upalnim žarištima formiraju crvenkasti čvorići, koji onda relativno brzo nestanu. Ali onda se u njihovoj blizini počinju pojavljivati čirevi. Kad ih se dodirne, oni počinju krvariti. Mogu se pojaviti na raznim dijelovima tijela, ali uglavnom u području genitalija.

Kod muškaraca je posebno pogođen penis, kod žena unutarnja strana stidnih usana. Ako se infekciju ne uoči u ranoj fazi, odnosno ne tretira već na samom početku, pojavljuju se i gnojne otekline, a na koncu bolest uništava tkivo. Vrijeme inkubacije se razlikuje. Između infekcije i pojave donovanoze može proći između tjedna i 16 tjedana.

Dijagnoza

Većina ljudi koji se zaraze donovanozom su stari između 30 i 40 godina. Za potrebe dijagnoze liječnici uzimaju bris pogođenog dijela tijela, odnosno tkiva. U slučaju potrebe se radi i analiza stanica.

Liječnici tako mogu ustanoviti radi li se doista o donovanozi ili nekoj drugoj spolnoj bolesti sa sličnim simptomima. Na primjer o sifilisu, prenosi DW.COM.

Rani tretman bolesti jako važan

Ako je dijagnoza jednoznačna i jasna, liječnici pacijentima propisuju uglavnom antibiotike. Pod uvjetom da se bolest počne liječiti u ranoj fazi, moguće je kompletno ozdravljenje. A ako se radi već o naprednom stadiju, moguće posljedice su edemi, „stiskanje" mokraćne cijevi, vagine ili analnog kanala. A mogući su i trajni ožiljci.

U slučaju infekcije, ljudski organizam ne gradi imunitet protiv uzročnika bolesti, a to znači da nema zaštite od moguće nove infekcije.

Prevencija

Kao i kod svih drugih bolesti koje se prenosi seksualnim kontaktima i kod donovanoze vrijedi staro pravilo: najbolja zaštita od uzročnika infekcije prilikom seksa je korištenje kondoma. U tropskim zemljama ovo je endemska bolest.

U industrijskim zemljama poput Njemačke razne organizacije informiraju građane o donovanozi, ali i o drugim spolno prenosivim bolestima koje se može „pokupiti" prilikom boravka u inozemstvu.

Bolest zvana donovanoza se manifestira kroz formiranje čireva na genitalijama. To se može dogoditi i kod muškaraca i kod žena, ali kod muškaraca se bolest pojavljuje dva puta češće nego kod žena. Donovanoza je poznata i kao "Granuloma inguinale" (ingvinalni granulom), to je spolno prenosiva bolest, ona može rezultirati destrukcijom inficiranog tkiva ako se nakon upale ne provede odgovarajuća terapija.

Za pojavu bolesti je odgovorna bakterija Klebsiella granulomatis, piše Deutsche Welle.

Tropska bolest

Ova tropska spolna bolest se primarno pojavljuje u zemljama poput Indije, Papue-Nove Gvineje, u središnjoj i sjevernoj Australiji. Ali je uočena i u Vijetnamu ili nekim afričkim državama. Donovanoza pripada u red takozvanih STD-ova, spolno prenosivih bolesti (Sexually Transmitted...
