Užasnu je dijagnozu dobila Amie Skilton kada je imala samo 37 godina. S razornim učincima na njegov život, jer se zbog patologije više nije mogla sjetiti ni svog imena, prenosi Novilist.

Ami Skilton – nutricionistica koja se bavi naturopatijom i koja sada ima 42 godine – počela se osjećati loše dva mjeseca nakon što se 2016. preselila sa suprugom u unajmljeni stan u Manlyju u Novom Južnom Walesu u Australiji.

Curenje iz tuša izazvalo je stvaranje plijesni koja se proširila  kupaonicom i širom stana. Amie je otkrila da je zbog svoje genetske ranjivosti na toksine plijesni i dugotrajnog izlaganja plijesni doživjela zdravstveni slom.

Počela je primjećivati kronične alergije i iznenada je nabacila 10 kilograma težine te se osjećala umorno. U narednim mjesecima njene su se moždane sposobnosti također smanjile.

Uputili je neurologu

Na kraju je upućena neurologu koji joj je dijagnosticirao Alzheimerovu bolest tipa 3, poznatu i kao “Alzheimerova bolest koja se dobiva udisajem”.

“Ponekad nisam znala kako se obući. Ako sam otišla nekud vozeći vespu, zaboravila sam gdje sam parkirala. Ali najviše me zabrinulo kad sam zaboravila svoje ime”, rekla je Amie Skilton za New York Post.

Pijesan skrivena ispod tepiha

Amie je rekla da zdravstveni djelatnici ponekad ignoriraju moguće posljedice plijesni, te joj je, kao i mnogima, u početku dijagnosticiran sindrom kroničnog umora ili fibromijalgija.

Međutim, zbog nekih sretnih okolnosti počela je shvaćati što se događalo i došla do pravog uzroka svojih problema. “Moj prijatelj je primijetio curenje iz garaže ispod njihovog stana”, rekla je Amie.

Otkrili su da je voda kapala ispod tepiha i stigla sve do spavaće sobe i radne sobe. Ukratko, plijesan se proširila kućom, od madraca na kojem je spavala Amie do prostirki za kupaonicu.

Amie je naglasila da je njen tepih izgledao sasvim dobro s gornje strane, ali kad ga je podignula ispod se skrivala crna plijesan. Kada je napokon skinula presvlaku s madraca, vidjela je da je i on zelen od plijesni, piše The Sun. I tako je otkrila uzrok svoje bolesti.

Ozdravljenje

Vrlo je bijesna jer joj je agent za nekretnine iznajmio stan iako je znao da je cijev puštala pet mjeseci.

Pet godina kasnije, Amie Skilton više nema simptoma Alzheimerove bolesti i njen mozak ponovo funkcionira, piše The Sun.

Amie stoga želi upozoriti na niz bolesti koje uzrokuje plijesan. Njen problem je bio zaista ozbiljan i složen, ali bilo je i drugih obitelji koje su bile prisiljene promijeniti način života zbog plijesni u kući.

Užasnu je dijagnozu dobila Amie Skilton kada je imala samo 37 godina. S razornim učincima na njegov život, jer se zbog patologije više nije mogla sjetiti ni svog imena, prenosi Novilist.

Ami Skilton – nutricionistica koja se bavi naturopatijom i koja sada ima 42 godine – počela se osjećati loše dva mjeseca nakon što se 2016. preselila sa suprugom u unajmljeni stan u Manlyju u Novom Južnom Walesu u Australiji.

Curenje iz tuša izazvalo je stvaranje plijesni koja se proširila  kupaonicom i širom stana. Amie je otkrila da je zbog svoje genetske ranjivosti na toksine plijesni i dugotrajnog izlaganja plijesni doživjela zdravstveni slom.

Počela je primjećivati kronične alergije i iznenada je nabacila 10 kilograma težine te se osjećala umorno. U narednim mjesecima njene su se moždane sposobnosti također smanjile.

Uputili je neurologu

Na kraju je upućena neurologu koji joj je dijagnosticirao Alzheimerovu bolest tipa 3, poznatu i kao “Alzheimerova bolest koja se dobiva udisajem”.

“Ponekad nisam znala kako se obući. Ako sam otišla nekud vozeći vespu, zaboravila sam gdje sam parkirala. Ali najviše me zabrinulo kad sam zaboravila svoje ime”, rekla je Amie Skilton za New York Post.

Pijesan skrivena ispod tepiha

Amie je rekla da zdravstveni djelatnici ponekad ignoriraju moguće posljedice plijesni, te joj je, kao i mnogima, u početku dijagnosticiran sindrom kroničnog umora ili fibromijalgija.

Međutim, zbog nekih sretnih okolnosti počela je shvaćati što se događalo i došla do pravog uzroka svojih problema. “Moj prijatelj je primijetio curenje iz garaže ispod njihovog stana”, rekla je Amie.

Otkrili su da je voda kapala ispod tepiha i stigla sve do spavaće sobe i radne sobe. Ukratko, plijesan se proširila kućom, od madraca na kojem je spavala Amie do prostirki za kupaonicu.

Amie je naglasila da je njen tepih izgledao sasvim dobro s gornje strane, ali kad ga je podignula ispod se skrivala crna plijesan. Kada je napokon skinula presvlaku s madraca, vidjela je da je i on zelen od plijesni, piše The Sun. I tako je otkrila uzrok svoje bolesti.

Ozdravljenje

Vrlo je bijesna jer joj je agent za nekretnine iznajmio stan iako je znao da je cijev puštala pet mjeseci.

Pet godina kasnije, Amie Skilton više nema simptoma Alzheimerove bolesti i njen mozak ponovo funkcionira, piše The Sun.

Amie stoga želi upozoriti na niz bolesti koje uzrokuje plijesan. Njen problem je bio zaista ozbiljan i složen, ali bilo je i drugih obitelji koje su bile prisiljene promijeniti način života zbog plijesni u kući.

Užasnu je dijagnozu dobila Amie Skilton kada je imala samo 37 godina. S razornim učincima na njegov život, jer se zbog patologije više nije mogla sjetiti ni svog imena, prenosi Novilist.

Ami Skilton – nutricionistica koja se bavi naturopatijom i koja sada ima 42 godine – počela se osjećati loše dva mjeseca nakon što se 2016. preselila sa suprugom u unajmljeni stan u Manlyju u Novom Južnom Walesu u Australiji.

Curenje iz tuša izazvalo je stvaranje plijesni koja se proširila  kupaonicom i širom stana. Amie je otkrila da je zbog svoje genetske ranjivosti na toksine plijesni i dugotrajnog izlaganja plijesni doživjela zdravstveni slom.

Počela je primjećivati kronične alergije i iznenada je nabacila 10 kilograma težine te se osjećala umorno. U narednim mjesecima njene...
