Studija provedena na Državnom sveučilištu Pennsylvania navodi da su suhe šljive hrana koju treba uzeti u obzir ako želite brinuli o svojim kostima. Studija je provedena na ženama u postmenopauzi, a učesnice su bile podijeljene u tri grupe: jedna grupa nije jela šljive, druga je jela po 6 svaki dan, a treća po 12 šljiva tijekom 12 mjeseci, piše medicalxpress.

Dr. Janhavi Damani, autor studije, kaže: " Rezultati koje smo dobili upućuju da konzumacijom 6 ili 12 šljiva tijekom dana možemo smanjiti mogućnost upalnih procesa koji doprinose gubitku koštane mase kod žena nakon menopauze."  Dr. Damani dodaje i da nas ova studija vodi do spoznaje kako bi suhe šljive mogle biti obećavajuća namirnica koja spriječava pojavu upale.

"Voće i povrće koje je bogato bioaktivnim sastojcima poput zdravih kiselina, flavonoida i karotenoida mogu pomoći u borbi protiv osteoporoze. Suhe šljive sadrže polifenole koji mogu smanjiti posljedice upala i oksidativnog stresa koji može doprinjeti gubitku koštane mase", objasnila je Kelsey Sackmann, dijetetičarka i nutricionistica, za blog Eat This, Not That.

Nutricionistica upozorava da se zbog veće koncentracije šećera kod suhog voća mora paziti na količinu voća koje se konzumira.

Preporučuje da ih se doda, na primjer, jogurtu koji ćete uzeti za doručak, čak i u salati ili pizzi.

Studija provedena na Državnom sveučilištu Pennsylvania navodi da su suhe šljive hrana koju treba uzeti u obzir ako želite brinuli o svojim kostima. Studija je provedena na ženama u postmenopauzi, a učesnice su bile podijeljene u tri grupe: jedna grupa nije jela šljive, druga je jela po 6 svaki dan, a treća po 12 šljiva tijekom 12 mjeseci, piše medicalxpress.

Dr. Janhavi Damani, autor studije, kaže: " Rezultati koje smo dobili upućuju da konzumacijom 6 ili 12 šljiva tijekom dana možemo smanjiti mogućnost upalnih procesa koji doprinose gubitku koštane mase kod žena nakon menopauze."  Dr. Damani dodaje i da nas ova studija vodi do spoznaje kako bi suhe šljive mogle biti obećavajuća namirnica koja spriječava pojavu upale.

"Voće i povrće koje je bogato bioaktivnim sastojcima poput zdravih kiselina, flavonoida i karotenoida mogu pomoći u borbi protiv osteoporoze. Suhe šljive sadrže polifenole koji mogu smanjiti posljedice upala i oksidativnog stresa koji može doprinjeti gubitku koštane mase", objasnila je Kelsey Sackmann, dijetetičarka i nutricionistica, za blog Eat This, Not That.

Preporučuje da ih se doda, na primjer, jogurtu koji ćete uzeti za doručak, čak i u salati ili pizzi.

Studija provedena na Državnom sveučilištu Pennsylvania navodi da su suhe šljive hrana koju treba uzeti u obzir ako želite brinuli o svojim kostima. Studija je provedena na ženama u postmenopauzi, a učesnice su bile podijeljene u tri grupe: jedna grupa nije jela šljive, druga je jela po 6 svaki dan, a treća po 12 šljiva tijekom 12 mjeseci, piše medicalxpress.

Dr. Janhavi Damani, autor studije, kaže: " Rezultati koje smo dobili upućuju da konzumacijom 6 ili 12 šljiva tijekom dana možemo smanjiti mogućnost upalnih procesa koji doprinose gubitku koštane mase kod žena nakon menopauze."  Dr. Damani dodaje i da nas ova studija vodi do spoznaje kako bi suhe šljive mogle biti obećavajuća namirnica koja spriječava pojavu upale.
