Potražnja za iznajmljenim nekretninama prilagođenim kućnim ljubimcima povećala se za 120% u 2021. godini u Velikoj Britaniji, ali samo 7% privatnih iznajmljivača oglašava nekretnine u kojima je dozvoljen boravak kućnim ljubimcima.

Novo istraživanje koje je naručio Mars Petcare otkrilo je da više od trećine (34%) ljudi kaže da im je životinja uzrokovala probleme pri pronalaženju mjesta za život. Štoviše, to utječe na skloništa za životinje, jer se oovećava broj ljudi koji ostavljaju životinje u skloništima jer nemogu naći odgovarajući stan.

Nova studija također pokazuje da vlasnici kućnih ljubimaca idu u krajnost kako ne bi bili prisiljeni iseliti se iz svog doma ili iz straha da će se morati odreći svog ljubimca. Istraživanje je otkrilo da jedan od 10 vlasnika kućnih ljubimaca trenutno ‘skriva‘ životinju od stanodavca, a dodatnih 25% to je učinilo u prošlosti. Od onih koje je uhvatio stanodavac, nažalost 22% je izbačeno iz svojih domova.

Vlada je poduzela neke korake kako bi stanarima olakšala posjedovanje kućnih ljubimaca u nekretninama za iznajmljivanje, ali svijest o pravima vlasnika kućnog ljubimca i dalje je niska. Vlada je u siječnju 2021. izvršila revizije Modela ugovora o najmu, potičući iznajmljivače da više ne izdaju opće zabrane za kućne ljubimce bez "dobrog razloga". Međutim, ankete su otkrile da je samo 12% iznajmljivača čulo za Vladin Model ugovora o najmu i aktivno ga koristilo.

Mars Petcare poziva sve vlasnike kućnih ljubimaca, ljubitelje životinja i sve koji vjeruju u pravedan sustav iznajmljivanja da stoje zajedno kako bi osigurali da zakon o reformi iznajmljivača bude iznesen pred parlament 2023. godine, s odredbama da se nekretnine za iznajmljivanje učine pogodnijima za kućne ljubimce. 

Paolo Rigamonti, generalni direktor Tvrtke Mars Petcare UK, izjavio je: "Odgovornim vlasnicima kućnih ljubimaca ne bi trebalo uskratiti pravo da iskuse radost i prednosti vlasništva kućnih ljubimaca samo zato što unajmljuju stan, ali sadašnje zakonodavstvo i nedostatak jasnoće nepravedno utječu na podstanare. Također znamo koliko je ozbiljan stres života s neizvjesnošću za stanare koji posjeduju kućne ljubimce i - s ograničenjima najma koja izravno doprinose napuštanju kućnih ljubimaca - jasno je da se promjene moraju dogoditi. Jednako tako, znamo da neki iznajmljivači imaju razumljive brige, ali mnogi prepoznaju brojne prednosti iznajmljivanja stanarima s kućnim ljubimcima."

Stanodavac Dominic Payne de Cramilly iz Essexua rekao je: "Stanodavac sam četvrt stoljeća i imao sam daleko više problema s ljudima koji uzrokuju štetu u mojim nekretninama nego što sam ikada imao s kućnim ljubimcima. Ideja da su svi kućni ljubimci destruktivni masovna je zabluda i definitivno predstoji razbijanje mitova među zajednicom stanodavaca."

Potražnja za iznajmljenim nekretninama prilagođenim kućnim ljubimcima povećala se za 120% u 2021. godini u Velikoj Britaniji, ali samo 7% privatnih iznajmljivača oglašava nekretnine u kojima je dozvoljen boravak kućnim ljubimcima.

Novo istraživanje koje je naručio Mars Petcare otkrilo je da više od trećine (34%) ljudi kaže da im je životinja uzrokovala probleme pri pronalaženju mjesta za život. Štoviše, to utječe na skloništa za životinje, jer se oovećava broj ljudi koji ostavljaju životinje u skloništima jer nemogu naći odgovarajući stan.

Nova studija također pokazuje da vlasnici kućnih ljubimaca idu u krajnost kako ne bi bili prisiljeni iseliti se iz svog doma ili iz straha da će se morati odreći svog ljubimca. Istraživanje je otkrilo da jedan od 10 vlasnika kućnih ljubimaca trenutno ‘skriva‘ životinju od stanodavca, a dodatnih 25% to je učinilo u prošlosti. Od onih koje je uhvatio stanodavac, nažalost 22% je izbačeno iz svojih domova.

Vlada je poduzela neke korake kako bi stanarima olakšala posjedovanje kućnih ljubimaca u nekretninama za iznajmljivanje, ali svijest o pravima vlasnika kućnog ljubimca i dalje je niska. Vlada je u siječnju 2021. izvršila revizije Modela ugovora o najmu, potičući iznajmljivače da više ne izdaju opće zabrane za kućne ljubimce bez "dobrog razloga". Međutim, ankete su otkrile da je samo 12% iznajmljivača čulo za Vladin Model ugovora o najmu i aktivno ga koristilo.

Mars Petcare poziva sve vlasnike kućnih ljubimaca, ljubitelje životinja i sve koji vjeruju u pravedan sustav iznajmljivanja da stoje zajedno kako bi osigurali da zakon o reformi iznajmljivača bude iznesen pred parlament 2023. godine, s odredbama da se nekretnine za iznajmljivanje učine pogodnijima za kućne ljubimce. 

Paolo Rigamonti, generalni direktor Tvrtke Mars Petcare UK, izjavio je: "Odgovornim vlasnicima kućnih ljubimaca ne bi trebalo uskratiti pravo da iskuse radost i prednosti vlasništva kućnih ljubimaca samo zato što unajmljuju stan, ali sadašnje zakonodavstvo i nedostatak jasnoće nepravedno utječu na podstanare. Također znamo koliko je ozbiljan stres života s neizvjesnošću za stanare koji posjeduju kućne ljubimce i - s ograničenjima najma koja izravno doprinose napuštanju kućnih ljubimaca - jasno je da se promjene moraju dogoditi. Jednako tako, znamo da neki iznajmljivači imaju razumljive brige, ali mnogi prepoznaju brojne prednosti iznajmljivanja stanarima s kućnim ljubimcima."

Stanodavac Dominic Payne de Cramilly iz Essexua rekao je: "Stanodavac sam četvrt stoljeća i imao sam daleko više problema s ljudima koji uzrokuju štetu u mojim nekretninama nego što sam ikada imao s kućnim ljubimcima. Ideja da su svi kućni ljubimci destruktivni masovna je zabluda i definitivno predstoji razbijanje mitova među zajednicom stanodavaca."
