Strah od požara kroz stoljeća je bio prisutan kod ljudi. Nekoć je za strah od požara, ali i za uzroke zapaljenja, najviše bilo zaslužno drvo kao dominantni element u izgradnji kuća i proizvodnji namještaja, dok su danas za požare u kućanstvu najzaslužniji ne izgašeni kućanski aparati.

- Kuhala za vodu, električne grijalice, glačala za odjeću, to su aparati koji su jedan od najčešćih uzročnika nastanka požara u kućanstvima - tvrdi bivši zapovjednik i glasnogovornik Javne vatrogasne postrojbe grada Osijeka Boris Banjan, a glačalo za odjeću jedan je od najvećih uzročnika požara kada su u pitanju mali kućanski aparati, prenosi Večernji list.

Kućanski aparati koji se koriste kao kuhinjska pomagala, primjerice, mikseri, tosteri, a posebice nape, ukoliko se ne isključe, često znaju izazvati požar. Nape su izrazito problematične ukoliko se ne čiste redovito, jer se zbog učestalog špricanja vrelog ulja sa štednjaka na njih, vatra može prenijeti na filtere nape, zahvaljujući naslagama ulja.

Ono što se preporučuje učiniti pri izlasku iz kuće, jest da se svi kućanski aparati isključe iz utičnice, do ponovnog korištenja.

- Sve uređaje, a tu pripadaju i perilice posuđa i perilica rublja koje smo mi skloni ostavljati da rade preko noći, trebalo bi isključiti iz utičnice, to bi bio najsigurniji način da ne dođe do požara. Kad su uređaji bez nadzora, kad nemamo kontrolu nad njima i kad nismo u tim prostorijama gdje su uređaji, onda bi ih trebalo isključiti iz struje." tvrdi Banjan i objašnjava kako jedino potpunom kontrolom uređaja možemo biti sigurni da neće doći do požara, prenosi Večernji list.

Veliki problem predstavljaju i produžni kablovi koje mnogi često koriste u kućanstvima jer im kablovi uređaja ne mogu doći do utičnica.

Banjan upozorava na mogućnost da produžni kablovi mogu biti upitne ispravnosti, izolacija takvog produžnog kabla ili određen spoj žica unutar kabla može dugim korištenjem dovesti do pregrijavanja vodiča produžnog kabla, a posebice ukoliko je više uređaja priključeno na produžni kabel, stoga bi i njih trebalo isključiti preko noći, i onda kad nismo kod kuće.

Banjan tvrdi i da do požara najčešće dolazi zbog nepažnje ili neznanja, gotovo 95 posto požara u stambenim jedinicama nastane iz ova dva navedena razloga.

Lijek za to može biti jedino podizanje protupožarne svijesti i odgovorno ponašanje na razini pojedinca.

Ako se kojim slučajem dogodi da nastane požar zbog električnog uređaja u stanu, nakon poziva vatrogascima, bilo bi dobro

utikač uređaja izvaditi iz utičnice, ukoliko ga ima, koristiti i aparat za gašenje s ugljičnim dioksidom ili prahom te pokušati ugasiti požar prekrivanjem, no valja obratiti pozornost na materijal prekrivača - iznimno je bitno da se ne radi o sintetičkom materijalu, već o pamuku ili vuni. Ukoliko je uređaj pod naponom, odnosno, ukoliko je uključen u struju, nikako ne smijete gasiti požar vodom, to mogu samo osposobljene i na odgovarajući način zaštićene osobe uz određeni razmak od uređaja pod naponom.

Strah od požara kroz stoljeća je bio prisutan kod ljudi. Nekoć je za strah od požara, ali i za uzroke zapaljenja, najviše bilo zaslužno drvo kao dominantni element u izgradnji kuća i proizvodnji namještaja, dok su danas za požare u kućanstvu najzaslužniji ne izgašeni kućanski aparati.

- Kuhala za vodu, električne grijalice, glačala za odjeću, to su aparati koji su jedan od najčešćih uzročnika nastanka požara u kućanstvima - tvrdi bivši zapovjednik i glasnogovornik Javne vatrogasne postrojbe grada Osijeka Boris Banjan, a glačalo za odjeću jedan je od najvećih uzročnika požara kada su u pitanju mali kućanski aparati, prenosi Večernji list.

Kućanski aparati koji se koriste kao kuhinjska pomagala, primjerice, mikseri, tosteri, a posebice nape, ukoliko se ne isključe, često znaju izazvati požar. Nape su izrazito problematične ukoliko se ne čiste redovito, jer se zbog učestalog špricanja vrelog ulja sa štednjaka na njih, vatra može prenijeti na filtere nape, zahvaljujući naslagama ulja.

Ono što se preporučuje učiniti pri izlasku iz kuće, jest da se svi kućanski aparati isključe iz utičnice, do ponovnog korištenja.

- Sve uređaje, a tu pripadaju i perilice posuđa i perilica rublja koje smo mi skloni ostavljati da rade preko noći, trebalo bi isključiti iz utičnice, to bi bio najsigurniji način da ne dođe do požara. Kad su uređaji bez nadzora, kad nemamo kontrolu nad njima i kad nismo u tim prostorijama gdje su uređaji, onda bi ih trebalo isključiti iz struje." tvrdi Banjan i objašnjava kako jedino potpunom kontrolom uređaja možemo biti sigurni da neće doći do požara, prenosi Večernji list.

Veliki problem predstavljaju i produžni kablovi koje mnogi često koriste u kućanstvima jer im kablovi uređaja ne mogu doći do utičnica.

Banjan upozorava na mogućnost da produžni kablovi mogu biti upitne ispravnosti, izolacija takvog produžnog kabla ili određen spoj žica unutar kabla može dugim korištenjem dovesti do pregrijavanja vodiča produžnog kabla, a posebice ukoliko je više uređaja priključeno na produžni kabel, stoga bi i njih trebalo isključiti preko noći, i onda kad nismo kod kuće.

Banjan tvrdi i da do požara najčešće dolazi zbog nepažnje ili neznanja, gotovo 95 posto požara u stambenim jedinicama nastane iz ova dva navedena razloga.

Lijek za to može biti jedino podizanje protupožarne svijesti i odgovorno ponašanje na razini pojedinca.

Ako se kojim slučajem dogodi da nastane požar zbog električnog uređaja u stanu, nakon poziva vatrogascima, bilo bi dobro

utikač uređaja izvaditi iz utičnice, ukoliko ga ima, koristiti i aparat za gašenje s ugljičnim dioksidom ili prahom te pokušati ugasiti požar prekrivanjem, no valja obratiti pozornost na materijal prekrivača - iznimno je bitno da se ne radi o sintetičkom materijalu, već o pamuku ili vuni. Ukoliko je uređaj pod naponom, odnosno, ukoliko je uključen u struju, nikako ne smijete gasiti požar vodom, to mogu samo osposobljene i na odgovarajući način zaštićene osobe uz određeni razmak od uređaja pod naponom.
