Tommasso Debenedetti mnogima nije poznat, ali ako je suditi prema izvoru – Press Gazette, riječ je o talijanskom novinaru koji voli uznemiriti društvene mreže objavljivanjem dramatičnih vijesti s lažnih profila.

Do sada je lažnim tweetovima već “usmrtio” papu, svojedobno Fidela Castra i Pedra Almodovara, a prije dva dana i talijansku književnicu Elenu Ferrante. Budući da je riječ o omiljenoj autorici i svjetski poznatoj, među ostalim i po djelu “Genijalna prijateljica”, na “vijest” o njezinoj smrti “navukao” se britanski Independent, a dežurna noćna ekipa je na njihovu portalu to objavila ujutro oko 1.30.

Ubrzo su to prenijeli i MSN i Yahoo, a onda je stigao demantij; od književnice osobno ili njezine prijateljice, nije poznato, no Independent je vijest povukao. Sat vremena nakon neslane šale, lažni račun navodno je promijenio svoj profil i glasio: “Ovaj račun je prijevara koju je stvorio talijanski novinar Tommasso Debenedetti.”

Debenedetti je sigurno bio zadovoljan ovom pomutnjom koja je s društvenih mreža odletjela do novinskih medija, postigao je svoj cilj koji je objasnio još prije nekoliko godina. Naime, on je još 2012. u intervjuu za The Guardian rekao da su njegovi lažni tweetovi vođeni željom da razotkrije “koliko su slabi mediji u Italiji”.

Slabost je zaraznija nego što je Debenedetti mislio, pa ispada da nisu samo talijanski mediji u pitanju.

No sretna je vijest da je ono bila lažna vijest, a da talijanska književnica Elena Ferrante ima još puno posla za sve vjerne čitatelje i poklonike pisane riječi u cijelom svijetu. No tko je zapravo Elena Ferrante? Njezin pravi identitet je strogo čuvana tajna. Neki sumnjaju da se iza toga pseudonima krije muškarac, drugi tvrde da je ipak riječ o ženi.

Domenico ili Anita

Autorica s vremena na vrijeme daje intervjue, oni budu objavljeni uz nekakvu fotografiju sredovječne žene čiji lik najbolje odgovara godinama koje bi Ferrante trebala imati s obzirom da nitko nije porekao kako je rođena 1943. godine u Napulju.

LA Times je s književnicom razgovarao 2018. i objavio sljedeće: “Elena Ferrante je žena bez lica, čiji identitet je poznat samo njezinu talijanskom izdavaču, E/O. Njezino je ime pseudonim, a zvuči kao diskretan hommage velikoj talijanskoj spisateljici Elsi Morante, autorici ‘Arturova otoka’”, napisao je LA Times.

Ferrante tako već godinama čuva svoju privatnost, a nagađanja o tome tko je ona samo se nastavljaju. Talijanski mediji su neko vrijeme sumnjali da iza pseudonima stoji Domenico Starnone, napuljski scenarist i romanopisac, a poslije i da je riječ o Aniti Raji, rimskoj prevoditeljici.

Znatiželjnici željni pažnje još će vjerojatno puno kalkulirati oko pravog identiteta talijanske književnice, što njezinim čitateljima zapravo uopće nije važno. Pravi ljubitelji knjige vole djela Elene Ferrante, i dalje ih ne zanima.

Tommasso Debenedetti mnogima nije poznat, ali ako je suditi prema izvoru – Press Gazette, riječ je o talijanskom novinaru koji voli uznemiriti društvene mreže objavljivanjem dramatičnih vijesti s lažnih profila.

Do sada je lažnim tweetovima već “usmrtio” papu, svojedobno Fidela Castra i Pedra Almodovara, a prije dva dana i talijansku književnicu Elenu Ferrante. Budući da je riječ o omiljenoj autorici i svjetski poznatoj, među ostalim i po djelu “Genijalna prijateljica”, na “vijest” o njezinoj smrti “navukao” se britanski Independent, a dežurna noćna ekipa je na njihovu portalu to objavila ujutro oko 1.30.

Ubrzo su to prenijeli i MSN i Yahoo, a onda je stigao demantij; od književnice osobno ili njezine prijateljice, nije poznato, no Independent je vijest povukao. Sat vremena nakon neslane šale, lažni račun navodno je promijenio svoj profil i glasio: “Ovaj račun je prijevara koju je stvorio talijanski novinar Tommasso Debenedetti.”

Debenedetti je sigurno bio zadovoljan ovom pomutnjom koja je s društvenih mreža odletjela do novinskih medija, postigao je svoj cilj koji je objasnio još prije nekoliko godina. Naime, on je još 2012. u intervjuu za The Guardian rekao da su njegovi lažni tweetovi vođeni željom da razotkrije “koliko su slabi mediji u Italiji”.

Slabost je zaraznija nego što je Debenedetti mislio, pa ispada da nisu samo talijanski mediji u pitanju.

No sretna je vijest da je ono bila lažna vijest, a da talijanska književnica Elena Ferrante ima još puno posla za sve vjerne čitatelje i poklonike pisane riječi u cijelom svijetu. No tko je zapravo Elena Ferrante? Njezin pravi identitet je strogo čuvana tajna. Neki sumnjaju da se iza toga pseudonima krije muškarac, drugi tvrde da je ipak riječ o ženi.

Domenico ili Anita

Autorica s vremena na vrijeme daje intervjue, oni budu objavljeni uz nekakvu fotografiju sredovječne žene čiji lik najbolje odgovara godinama koje bi Ferrante trebala imati s obzirom da nitko nije porekao kako je rođena 1943. godine u Napulju.

LA Times je s književnicom razgovarao 2018. i objavio sljedeće: “Elena Ferrante je žena bez lica, čiji identitet je poznat samo njezinu talijanskom izdavaču, E/O. Njezino je ime pseudonim, a zvuči kao diskretan hommage velikoj talijanskoj spisateljici Elsi Morante, autorici ‘Arturova otoka’”, napisao je LA Times.

Ferrante tako već godinama čuva svoju privatnost, a nagađanja o tome tko je ona samo se nastavljaju. Talijanski mediji su neko vrijeme sumnjali da iza pseudonima stoji Domenico Starnone, napuljski scenarist i romanopisac, a poslije i da je riječ o Aniti Raji, rimskoj prevoditeljici.

Znatiželjnici željni pažnje još će vjerojatno puno kalkulirati oko pravog identiteta talijanske književnice, što njezinim čitateljima zapravo uopće nije važno. Pravi ljubitelji knjige vole djela Elene Ferrante, i dalje ih ne zanima.
