S obzirom na to da je od 15. studenog pa do 15. travnja iduće godine u kontinentalnom dijelu zemlje obvezna zimska oprema, te da stižu lošije vremenske prilike sa snijegom, ledom i kišom, nije loše pogledati rezultate testiranja zimskih pneumatika koje su odradili njemački ADAC i europski partneri, među kojima je i Hrvatski autoklub (HAK). Ovaj su put strogom ispitivanju bili podvrgnuti pneumatici dimenzija 195/65 R15, koje možemo vidjeti u brojnim obiteljskim kompaktima, te oni dimenzija 225/50 R17, koje uglavnom susrećemo u manjim obiteljskim limuzinama.

Testu guma manjih dimenzija od 15 cola podvrgnuto je 16 pneumatika, od kojih su četiri vrlo preporučljiva, 11 ih se preporučuje, jedan se djelomično preporučuje, dok loših guma, što je pomalo nevjerojatno, nema! U većoj dimenziji od 17 cola testirano je 18 guma, od kojih su tri vrlo preporučljive, njih 13 se preporučuje, dok dvije kineske gume ADAC ne preporučuje (Goodride Z-507 Zuper Snow i Linglong Green-Max Winter UHP).

Premda maksimalnu ocjenu "izvrstan" nije dobila niti jedna guma u obje konkurencije, u spomenute dvije kategorije na čelo su isplivale tri iste tvrtke (Dunlop, Goodyear i Michelin) te je razlika među njima minimalna. U manjoj dimenziji u grupi s najboljima je i Vredestein, kojemu je top-pozicija u većoj dimenziji pobjegla jer je njihov model Wintrac Pro među najmanje trajnim gumama (lošiji je samo Goodride Z-507 Zuper Snow), zbog čega je zaslužio smanjenje ukupne ocjene. Da nije bilo tog propusta, po rezultatima u ostalim kategorijama nedvojbeno bi zaslužio oznaku "vrlo preporučljivo". Da kuriozitet bude veći, Vredesteinov model Wintrac u manjoj se dimenziji svrstao u vodeću skupinu s najtrajnijim modelima pneumatika.

U manjoj dimenziji 195/65 R15, koja je danas najprodavanija na tržištu (barem kad su zimske gume u pitanju), gotovo dvije trećine testiranih pneumatika nije pokazalo nikakve nedostatke na suhom i mokrom, što su zapravo najvažniji kriteriji pri donošenju ukupne ocjene. Na snijegu su samo dvije gume ostale bez oznake "vrlo preporučljivo" (Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 i Bridgestone Blizzak LM005), dok na ledu i po potrošnji goriva ni jedna nije kiksala. Možda za nijansu slabiji podaci dobiveni su jedino na testu trajnosti/potrošnje guma, gdje prosječni rezultat svih 16 modela od 27.300 kilometara nije posebno impresivan. U tom je dijelu najdalje otišao Michelin Alpin 6 s 34.400 kilometara, dok se na začelje kolone smjestio Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 s 21.800 kilometara.

Što se tiče najbolje četvorke – Dunlop Winter Response 2, Goodyear UltraGrip 9+, Michelin Alpin 6 i Vredestein Wintrac – tu dvojbe nema i sasvim zasluženo nose ocjenu "vrlo preporučljivo". Od ostalih, prvenstveno treba izdvojiti BFGoodrich g-Force Winter 2 i Continental WinterContact TS 860, koji su top-pozicije ispustili zbog samo jednog, i to minimalnog, kiksa. BFGoodrich nije blistao na mokrom, a Continental na suhom.

Sljedeća četvorka iz sredine poretka ima jednu zajedničku karakteristiku: svi su pokazali manje nedostatke na području upravljivosti vozila, no smanjenje ukupne ocjene dobili su isključivo zbog – slabije trajnosti. Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 pokazao se vrlo solidnim na suhom i drugim najboljim na mokrom. Na snijegu, pak, njegove performanse nisu bile tako dobre. Falken EuroWinter HS01 doimao se vrlo preporučljivim na suhom, snijegu i ledu, ali na mokrom se nije uspio provući neokrznutim. Laufenn i Fit + LW31 + bio je vrlo solidan na mokrom te drugi najbolji na snijegu i ledu, ali pokliznuo se na suhom. Na kraju, Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 pokazao se vrlo preporučljivim na suhom, mokrom i ledu, dok na snijegu nije bio na toj razini.

Na dnu srednje klase je petorka koja je iskazala nedostatke u barem jednoj ključnoj kategoriji, što je rezultiralo srozavanjem ukupne ocjene. Tako je Yokohama BluEarth Winter V906 bila uvjerljiva na suhom, snijegu i ledu, dok je pogotovo na mokrom iskazala solidan prostor za napredak. Slabiji rezultati na mokrom (tek nešto bolji na suhom) utjecali su na smanjenje ukupne ocjene i kod Barum Polarisa 5, koji je na snijegu i ledu bio za svaku pohvalu.

Treći u nizu kojeg je mokra podloga koštala pada u nižu kategoriju je Nokian WR Snowproof (vrlo preporučljiv u svim ostalim elementima), dok je četvrti General Tire Altimax Winter 3. GT Radial WinterPro 2 koji, osim na mokrom, nije blistao ni na suhom, zbog čega mu je smanjena ukupna ocjena. Na začelju je ove liste Kumho WinterCraft WP51, koji je posebno podbacio na suhom pa, uz neuvjerljivu predstavu na mokrom, nije zaslužio veću ocjenu od samo "djelomično se preporučuje".

U većoj dimenziji 225/50 R17 tri su modela bezrezervno vrlo preporučljiva (Dunlop Winter Sport 5, Michelin Alpin 6 i Goodyear UltraGrip Performance +), ali zato se čak dva modela ne preporučuju (Goodride Z-507 Zuper Snow i Linglong Greeen-Max Winter UHP). Goodride je platio danak znatnim nedostacima na snijegu, počevši od najdužeg zaustavnog puta, preko sporog početnog ubrzanja, pa sve do slabog držanja pravca testnog Audija A4 Avant na cesti s bijelim pokrivačem. Gotovo sve navedeno može se primijeniti i na slučaju Linglonga, samo što se ovdje nije radilo o podbačajima na snježnoj, nego na mokroj podlozi.

Između tri vrlo dobra "učenika" i dva nedovoljna, smjestilo se 13 dobrih, odnosno – preporučljivih. Prvi među jednakima je Kleber Krisalp HP3, koji nije ušao u veliku četvorku samo zbog manjih propusta na mokrom. Bridgestone Blizzak LM005, Nexen WinGuard Sport 2 i Vredestein Wintrac Pro poskliznuli su se na izdržljivosti gume, dok je inače solidnom Continentalu WinterContact TS 860 ukupna ocjena smanjena zbog nedostataka na suhom.

S obzirom na to da je od 15. studenog pa do 15. travnja iduće godine u kontinentalnom dijelu zemlje obvezna zimska oprema, te da stižu lošije vremenske prilike sa snijegom, ledom i kišom, nije loše pogledati rezultate testiranja zimskih pneumatika koje su odradili njemački ADAC i europski partneri, među kojima je i Hrvatski autoklub (HAK). Ovaj su put strogom ispitivanju bili podvrgnuti pneumatici dimenzija 195/65 R15, koje možemo vidjeti u brojnim obiteljskim kompaktima, te oni dimenzija 225/50 R17, koje uglavnom susrećemo u manjim obiteljskim limuzinama.

Testu guma manjih dimenzija od 15 cola podvrgnuto je 16 pneumatika, od kojih su četiri vrlo preporučljiva, 11 ih se preporučuje, jedan se djelomično preporučuje, dok loših guma, što je pomalo nevjerojatno, nema! U većoj dimenziji od 17 cola testirano je 18 guma, od kojih su tri vrlo preporučljive, njih 13 se preporučuje, dok dvije kineske gume ADAC ne preporučuje (Goodride Z-507 Zuper Snow i Linglong Green-Max Winter UHP).

Premda maksimalnu ocjenu "izvrstan" nije dobila niti jedna guma u obje konkurencije, u spomenute dvije kategorije na čelo su isplivale tri iste tvrtke (Dunlop, Goodyear i Michelin) te je razlika među njima minimalna. U manjoj dimenziji u grupi s najboljima je i Vredestein, kojemu je top-pozicija u većoj dimenziji pobjegla jer je njihov model Wintrac Pro među najmanje trajnim gumama (lošiji je samo Goodride Z-507 Zuper Snow), zbog čega je zaslužio smanjenje ukupne ocjene. Da nije bilo tog propusta, po rezultatima u ostalim kategorijama nedvojbeno bi zaslužio oznaku "vrlo preporučljivo". Da kuriozitet bude veći, Vredesteinov model Wintrac u manjoj se dimenziji svrstao u vodeću skupinu s najtrajnijim modelima pneumatika.

U manjoj dimenziji 195/65 R15, koja je danas najprodavanija na tržištu (barem kad su zimske gume u pitanju), gotovo dvije trećine testiranih pneumatika nije pokazalo nikakve nedostatke na suhom i mokrom, što su zapravo najvažniji kriteriji pri donošenju ukupne ocjene. Na snijegu su samo dvije gume ostale bez oznake "vrlo preporučljivo" (Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 i Bridgestone Blizzak LM005), dok na ledu i po potrošnji goriva ni jedna nije kiksala. Možda za nijansu slabiji podaci dobiveni su jedino na testu trajnosti/potrošnje guma, gdje prosječni rezultat svih 16 modela od 27.300 kilometara nije posebno impresivan. U tom je dijelu najdalje otišao Michelin Alpin 6 s 34.400 kilometara, dok se na začelje kolone smjestio Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 s 21.800 kilometara.

Što se tiče najbolje četvorke – Dunlop Winter Response 2, Goodyear UltraGrip 9+, Michelin Alpin 6 i Vredestein Wintrac – tu dvojbe nema i sasvim zasluženo nose ocjenu "vrlo preporučljivo". Od ostalih, prvenstveno treba izdvojiti BFGoodrich g-Force Winter 2 i Continental WinterContact TS 860, koji su top-pozicije ispustili zbog samo jednog, i to minimalnog, kiksa. BFGoodrich nije blistao na mokrom, a Continental na suhom.

Sljedeća četvorka iz sredine poretka ima jednu zajedničku karakteristiku: svi su pokazali manje nedostatke na području upravljivosti vozila, no smanjenje ukupne ocjene dobili su isključivo zbog – slabije trajnosti. Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 pokazao se vrlo solidnim na suhom i drugim najboljim na mokrom. Na snijegu, pak, njegove performanse nisu bile tako dobre. Falken EuroWinter HS01 doimao se vrlo preporučljivim na suhom, snijegu i ledu, ali na mokrom se nije uspio provući neokrznutim. Laufenn i Fit + LW31 + bio je vrlo solidan na mokrom te drugi najbolji na snijegu i ledu, ali pokliznuo se na suhom. Na kraju, Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 pokazao se vrlo preporučljivim na suhom, mokrom i ledu, dok na snijegu nije bio na toj razini.

Na dnu srednje klase je petorka koja je iskazala nedostatke u barem jednoj ključnoj kategoriji, što je rezultiralo srozavanjem ukupne ocjene. Tako je Yokohama BluEarth Winter V906 bila uvjerljiva na suhom, snijegu i ledu, dok je pogotovo na mokrom iskazala solidan prostor za napredak. Slabiji rezultati na mokrom (tek nešto bolji na suhom) utjecali su na smanjenje ukupne ocjene i kod Barum Polarisa 5, koji je na snijegu i ledu bio za svaku pohvalu.

Treći u nizu kojeg je mokra podloga koštala pada u nižu kategoriju je Nokian WR Snowproof (vrlo preporučljiv u svim ostalim elementima), dok je četvrti General Tire Altimax Winter 3. GT Radial WinterPro 2 koji, osim na mokrom, nije blistao ni na suhom, zbog čega mu je smanjena ukupna ocjena. Na začelju je ove liste Kumho WinterCraft WP51, koji je posebno podbacio na suhom pa, uz neuvjerljivu predstavu na mokrom, nije zaslužio veću ocjenu od samo "djelomično se preporučuje".

U većoj dimenziji 225/50 R17 tri su modela bezrezervno vrlo preporučljiva (Dunlop Winter Sport 5, Michelin Alpin 6 i Goodyear UltraGrip Performance +), ali zato se čak dva modela ne preporučuju (Goodride Z-507 Zuper Snow i Linglong Greeen-Max Winter UHP). Goodride je platio danak znatnim nedostacima na snijegu, počevši od najdužeg zaustavnog puta, preko sporog početnog ubrzanja, pa sve do slabog držanja pravca testnog Audija A4 Avant na cesti s bijelim pokrivačem. Gotovo sve navedeno može se primijeniti i na slučaju Linglonga, samo što se ovdje nije radilo o podbačajima na snježnoj, nego na mokroj podlozi.

Između tri vrlo dobra "učenika" i dva nedovoljna, smjestilo se 13 dobrih, odnosno – preporučljivih. Prvi među jednakima je Kleber Krisalp HP3, koji nije ušao u veliku četvorku samo zbog manjih propusta na mokrom. Bridgestone Blizzak LM005, Nexen WinGuard Sport 2 i Vredestein Wintrac Pro poskliznuli su se na izdržljivosti gume, dok je inače solidnom Continentalu WinterContact TS 860 ukupna ocjena smanjena zbog nedostataka na suhom.
