Hrvatska konačno dobiva jednu novu manifestaciju, Opera Zagreb Festival, što će svakako doprinijeti jačoj vidljivosti naše zemlje na kulturnoj karti i Europe i svijeta.
Idejna začetnica i pokretačica ovoga festivala je intendantica HNK Zagreb Iva Hraste-Sočo, i sama operna solistica, koja je mimo karijere sopranistice imala dug diplomatski angažman baš kulturne provenijencije, i to u Beču, neokrunjenoj mundijalnoj prijestolnici kulture.

Ambiciozno zamišljen Opera Zagreb Festival svečano je otvoren u nedjelju domaćom predstavom Nabucco Giuseppea Verdija, pod ravnanjem počasnog šefa-dirigenta Pier Giorgio Morandija, a kao prva gostujuća predstava izvedena je u četvrtak Cavalleria rusticana Pietra Mascagnija, koju je u HNK Zagreb izveo kompletni ansambl Splitske opere.
Ukupno u desetak dana trajanja manifestacije Zagrepčani će dočekati još i gostovanja HNK Osijek s Donizettijevim Ljubavnim napitkom i HNK Ivana pl. Zajca iz Rijeke s nedavno uprizorenim spektaklom Pikova dama P. I. Čajkovskog, nakon čega će Slovensko narodno gledališče iz Ljubljane zatvoriti program majestetičnom operom Faust Charlesa Gounoda.

Doda li se svemu i činjenica da će u atriju Klovićevih dvora na Gornjem Gradu, za trajanja festivala, u produkciji HNK Zagreb biti uprizorena i zadnja sezonska premijera Gotovčeve opere Stanac, jasno je u kolikoj mjeri glavni grad Hrvatske postaje istinsko operno središte na ovim prostorima.
Za Splitsku operu ovo je vrlo važno gostovanje, jer zbog golemog izvođačkog aparata i financijskih troškova nije češće u prilici putovati i pronositi sjajan glas što ju tradicionalno prati još i iz desetljeća koja su iza nas.
A ovaj novoosnovani festival u Zagrebu upravo budi aluzije na Splitske ljetne priredbe u Splitu, današnje Splitsko ljeto, kad se 50-ih i 60-ih godina prošlog i vijeka i milenija u Splitu na otvorenom tijekom Ljeta izvodilo i po sedam-osam različitih opernih naslova: sve u domaćoj produkciji, pojačanoj gostujućim solistima.
Tada su Priredbe imale i nekakav atribut "opernog festivala", o čijim su izvedbama s uviđavnošću pisale sve relevantne tiskovine na području ondašnje države. Upravo s tim recenzijama zbor Splitske opere i dandanas živi u kazališnoj memoriji i u nas i u susjedstvu kao ponajbolji operni zbor.

Ne računajući povremene odlaske u Zadar ili redovite izvedbe Ere s onoga svijeta na Česmi u Vrlici u okviru Splitskog ljeta, Opera HNK Split imala je u zadnjih 20-ak godina gostovanja u Mađarskoj s Massenetovim Wertherom, ovdje u Zagrebu s Verdijevom Luisom Miller i nedavno na Festivalu Ljubljana s Aidom.
Ova je produkcija Mascagnijeve opere Cavalleria rusticana u zagrebačkom kazalištu bila predvođena maestrom Jurom Bučevićem i redateljicom Jelenom Bosančić, dok su se među ružom solista zatekli Antonija Teskera (Santuzza), Max Jota (Turiddu), Ivana Bosančić Lasić (Lola), Robert Kolar (Alfio) i Dora Jana Klarić (Lucia).
Kakva je bila izvedba najbolje govori reakcija zagrebačke publike, koja je u više navrata doista frenetičnim pljeskom uz povike "bravo!" ispraćala pojedine numere opere.
Najviše ushita izazvao je, jasno, pjevački zbor, koji je, rečeno je, odvajkada bio najjačim adutom Splitske opere. Ono što svakako valja istaknuti jest briljantan nastup sopranistice Antonije Teskera, koja je demonstrirala izvanredne i vokalne i interpretativne mogućnosti. Gledano u cjelini, ovo je bio jedan reprezentativni nastup HNK Split u gostima, što je srčanom reakcijom blagoslovila i sama publika, jedini pošteni arbitar u kazalištu.

---Iskustva stečena na izvorištu svih umjetničkih pokazivanja i dokazivanja, u austrijskoj metropoli, madam Hraste-Sočo sad prenosi i u domovinu.
Ambiciozno zamišljen Opera Zagreb Festival svečano je otvoren u nedjelju domaćom predstavom Nabucco Giuseppea Verdija, pod ravnanjem počasnog šefa-dirigenta Pier Giorgio Morandija, a kao prva gostujuća predstava izvedena je u četvrtak Cavalleria rusticana Pietra Mascagnija, koju je u HNK Zagreb izveo kompletni ansambl Splitske opere.
Ukupno u desetak dana trajanja manifestacije Zagrepčani će dočekati još i gostovanja HNK Osijek s Donizettijevim Ljubavnim napitkom i HNK Ivana pl. Zajca iz Rijeke s nedavno uprizorenim spektaklom Pikova dama P. I. Čajkovskog, nakon čega će Slovensko narodno gledališče iz Ljubljane zatvoriti program majestetičnom operom Faust Charlesa Gounoda.

Doda li se svemu i činjenica da će u atriju Klovićevih dvora na Gornjem Gradu, za trajanja festivala, u produkciji HNK Zagreb biti uprizorena i zadnja sezonska premijera Gotovčeve opere Stanac, jasno je u kolikoj mjeri glavni grad Hrvatske postaje istinsko operno središte na ovim prostorima.
Za Splitsku operu ovo je vrlo važno gostovanje, jer zbog golemog izvođačkog aparata i financijskih troškova nije češće u prilici putovati i pronositi sjajan glas što ju tradicionalno prati još i iz desetljeća koja su iza nas.
A ovaj novoosnovani festival u Zagrebu upravo budi aluzije na Splitske ljetne priredbe u Splitu, današnje Splitsko ljeto, kad se 50-ih i 60-ih godina prošlog i vijeka i milenija u Splitu na otvorenom tijekom Ljeta izvodilo i po sedam-osam različitih opernih naslova: sve u domaćoj produkciji, pojačanoj gostujućim solistima.
Tada su Priredbe imale i nekakav atribut "opernog festivala", o čijim su izvedbama s uviđavnošću pisale sve relevantne tiskovine na području ondašnje države. Upravo s tim recenzijama zbor Splitske opere i dandanas živi u kazališnoj memoriji i u nas i u susjedstvu kao ponajbolji operni zbor.

Ne računajući povremene odlaske u Zadar ili redovite izvedbe Ere s onoga svijeta na Česmi u Vrlici u okviru Splitskog ljeta, Opera HNK Split imala je u zadnjih 20-ak godina gostovanja u Mađarskoj s Massenetovim Wertherom, ovdje u Zagrebu s Verdijevom Luisom Miller i nedavno na Festivalu Ljubljana s Aidom.
Ova je produkcija Mascagnijeve opere Cavalleria rusticana u zagrebačkom kazalištu bila predvođena maestrom Jurom Bučevićem i redateljicom Jelenom Bosančić, dok su se među ružom solista zatekli Antonija Teskera (Santuzza), Max Jota (Turiddu), Ivana Bosančić Lasić (Lola), Robert Kolar (Alfio) i Dora Jana Klarić (Lucia).
Kakva je bila izvedba najbolje govori reakcija zagrebačke publike, koja je u više navrata doista frenetičnim pljeskom uz povike "bravo!" ispraćala pojedine numere opere.
Najviše ushita izazvao je, jasno, pjevački zbor, koji je, rečeno je, odvajkada bio najjačim adutom Splitske opere. Ono što svakako valja istaknuti jest briljantan nastup sopranistice Antonije Teskera, koja je demonstrirala izvanredne i vokalne i interpretativne mogućnosti. Gledano u cjelini, ovo je bio jedan reprezentativni nastup HNK Split u gostima, što je srčanom reakcijom blagoslovila i sama publika, jedini pošteni arbitar u kazalištu.
