Ovogodišnje, 67. Splitsko ljeto, otvoreno je na Peristilu premijernom izvedbom opere Pietra Mascagnija "Cavalleria rusticana" pod ravnanjem Ive Lipanovića i u režiji Jelene Bosančić.

Opernoj izvedbi prethodio je kratak program otvaranja. Glumica Katarina Romac izvela je stihove iz Judite Marka Marulića, prvog književnog djela na hrvatskom jeziku čija se 500. obljetnica tiskanja obilježava ove godine. Tom je važnom događaju za hrvatsku kulturu posvećeno ovogodišnje festivalsko izdanje.

Glumci Zorana Kačić Čatipović i Maro Drobnić upoznali su publiku s događajima pripremljenim za narednih trideset dana, a gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak proglasio je festival otvorenim. Netom prije toga zahvalio je svima koji brinu o tome da Splitsko ljeto bude epidemiološki sigurno, a posebno umjetnicima koji su se prilagodili novim okolnostima ne kompromitirajući pritom visoke umjetničke kriterije.

- Da se vratimo u normalan život treba nam još malo zajedničkog povjerenja u znanost i treba nam odgovornost, kazao je Puljak.

Uz fanfare, festivalsku su zastavu podigli mladi glumci HKK Split Katarina Romac, Ana-Marija Veselčić, Monika Vuco i Luka Čerjan, koji su odnedavno i službeni članovi dramskog ansambla. Potom je otpočela izvedba prve festivalske premijere, verističke opere "Cavalleria rusticana".

Ova jednočinka u Splitu je iznimno popularna a prvi put je izvedena prije gotovo stotinu godina i doživjela je niz uprizorenja.

Uz moćnu glazbu i dinamičan zaplet izrastao iz vrelog sicilijanskog temperamenta, opera dojmljivo priča priču o ljubavi i ljubomori, nevjeri, čežnji, licemjerju i fatalnoj osveti.

Uz Orkestar i Zbor HNK Split kao solisti nastupili su vrhunski solisti Kristina Kolar, Max Jota, Antonija Teskera, Paolo Gavanelli i Stefany Findrik.

Otvorenju je, u ime pokrovitelja Festivala, predsjednika RH, prisustvovao njegov savjetnik za kulturu Zdravko Zima, ministrica kulture i medija Nina Obuljen Koržinek te predstavnici gradskih, županijskih i državnih institucija.

Ovogodišnje, 67. Splitsko ljeto, otvoreno je na Peristilu premijernom izvedbom opere Pietra Mascagnija "Cavalleria rusticana" pod ravnanjem Ive Lipanovića i u režiji Jelene Bosančić.

Opernoj izvedbi prethodio je kratak program otvaranja. Glumica Katarina Romac izvela je stihove iz Judite Marka Marulića, prvog književnog djela na hrvatskom jeziku čija se 500. obljetnica tiskanja obilježava ove godine. Tom je važnom događaju za hrvatsku kulturu posvećeno ovogodišnje festivalsko izdanje.

Glumci Zorana Kačić Čatipović i Maro Drobnić upoznali su publiku s događajima pripremljenim za narednih trideset dana, a gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak proglasio je festival otvorenim. Netom prije toga zahvalio je svima koji brinu o tome da Splitsko ljeto bude epidemiološki sigurno, a posebno umjetnicima koji su se prilagodili novim okolnostima ne kompromitirajući pritom visoke umjetničke kriterije.

- Da se vratimo u normalan život treba nam još malo zajedničkog povjerenja u znanost i treba nam odgovornost, kazao je Puljak.

Uz fanfare, festivalsku su zastavu podigli mladi glumci HKK Split Katarina Romac, Ana-Marija Veselčić, Monika Vuco i Luka Čerjan, koji su odnedavno i službeni članovi dramskog ansambla. Potom je otpočela izvedba prve festivalske premijere, verističke opere "Cavalleria rusticana".

Ova jednočinka u Splitu je iznimno popularna a prvi put je izvedena prije gotovo stotinu godina i doživjela je niz uprizorenja.

Uz moćnu glazbu i dinamičan zaplet izrastao iz vrelog sicilijanskog temperamenta, opera dojmljivo priča priču o ljubavi i ljubomori, nevjeri, čežnji, licemjerju i fatalnoj osveti.

Uz Orkestar i Zbor HNK Split kao solisti nastupili su vrhunski solisti Kristina Kolar, Max Jota, Antonija Teskera, Paolo Gavanelli i Stefany Findrik.

Otvorenju je, u ime pokrovitelja Festivala, predsjednika RH, prisustvovao njegov savjetnik za kulturu Zdravko Zima, ministrica kulture i medija Nina Obuljen Koržinek te predstavnici gradskih, županijskih i državnih institucija.
