Potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar hrvatskih branitelja Tomo Medved u četvrtak poslijepodne sa suradnicima je obišao Veteranski centar u Sinju na kojemu su upravo završeni građevinsko-zanatski radovi.

U nekadašnjih vojarni u Sinju izgrađen je jedan od četiri veteranska centra u Hrvatskoj čiju gradnju, dogradnju, odnosno rekonstrukciju sufinancira EU. Ukupna ulaganja u sva četiri centra iznose 339 milijuna kuna od čega EU sudjeluje s 85 posto bespovratnih sredstava. Sva četiri centra – u Šibeniku, Sinju, Daruvaru i Petrinji – imat će 620 ležajeva i godišnje 12 tisuća korisnika kroz trotjedne ili dnevne programe. Poslije onog u Šibeniku, Veteranski centar u Sinju drugi je izgrađeni. U njegovu izgradnju uloženo je 56,3 milijuna kuna plus oko 6 milijuna kuna Grada Sinja u infrastrukturu. Ovaj centar imat će 130 ležaja, a njegove brojne sadržaje i usluge godišnje će moći koristiti oko 2500 osoba.

- Za ovaj sinjski centar još tijekom srpnja objavit ćemo javni poziv za zapošljavanje 31 osobe, a paralelno ćemo raditi na opremanju. Do kraja rujna Veteranski centar u Sinju počeo bi s radom. Prvi smo otvorili u Šibeniku i njegovi korisnici tijekom proteklih mjesec dana iznimno su zadovoljni. Ovo su prva sredstva koja iz fondova EU idu izravno za potrebe hrvatskih branitelja. Nećemo stati. Planiramo nastavak izgradnje mreže veteranskih centara – kazao je Medved.

- Otkako sam gradonačelnik imali smo primjerenu suradnju s Ministarstvom hrvatskih branitelja pa smo uspjeli riješiti sve iskrsle probleme. Grad je uložio vlastitih 6,3 milijuna kuna. Osim same skrbi o braniteljima i kroz ovaj veteranski centar promovirat ćemo istinu o Domovinskom ratu – kazao je gradonačelnik Miro Bulj.

- Bilo je mnogo priča o tome kako će se EU odnositi prema hrvatskim braniteljima. Ovo je najbolji primjer kako u EU shvaćaju ulogu borbe za slobodu Hrvatske. Uz ovaj s državne razine u Sinju se realiziraju još dva velika projekta: novi kružni tok na državnoj cesti D-1 i Aglomeracija Sinj – kazao je župan Blaženko Boban.

Potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar hrvatskih branitelja Tomo Medved u četvrtak poslijepodne sa suradnicima je obišao Veteranski centar u Sinju na kojemu su upravo završeni građevinsko-zanatski radovi.

U nekadašnjih vojarni u Sinju izgrađen je jedan od četiri veteranska centra u Hrvatskoj čiju gradnju, dogradnju, odnosno rekonstrukciju sufinancira EU. Ukupna ulaganja u sva četiri centra iznose 339 milijuna kuna od čega EU sudjeluje s 85 posto bespovratnih sredstava. Sva četiri centra – u Šibeniku, Sinju, Daruvaru i Petrinji – imat će 620 ležajeva i godišnje 12 tisuća korisnika kroz trotjedne ili dnevne programe. Poslije onog u Šibeniku, Veteranski centar u Sinju drugi je izgrađeni. U njegovu izgradnju uloženo je 56,3 milijuna kuna plus oko 6 milijuna kuna Grada Sinja u infrastrukturu. Ovaj centar imat će 130 ležaja, a njegove brojne sadržaje i usluge godišnje će moći koristiti oko 2500 osoba.

- Za ovaj sinjski centar još tijekom srpnja objavit ćemo javni poziv za zapošljavanje 31 osobe, a paralelno ćemo raditi na opremanju. Do kraja rujna Veteranski centar u Sinju počeo bi s radom. Prvi smo otvorili u Šibeniku i njegovi korisnici tijekom proteklih mjesec dana iznimno su zadovoljni. Ovo su prva sredstva koja iz fondova EU idu izravno za potrebe hrvatskih branitelja. Nećemo stati. Planiramo nastavak izgradnje mreže veteranskih centara – kazao je Medved.

- Otkako sam gradonačelnik imali smo primjerenu suradnju s Ministarstvom hrvatskih branitelja pa smo uspjeli riješiti sve iskrsle probleme. Grad je uložio vlastitih 6,3 milijuna kuna. Osim same skrbi o braniteljima i kroz ovaj veteranski centar promovirat ćemo istinu o Domovinskom ratu – kazao je gradonačelnik Miro Bulj.

- Bilo je mnogo priča o tome kako će se EU odnositi prema hrvatskim braniteljima. Ovo je najbolji primjer kako u EU shvaćaju ulogu borbe za slobodu Hrvatske. Uz ovaj s državne razine u Sinju se realiziraju još dva velika projekta: novi kružni tok na državnoj cesti D-1 i Aglomeracija Sinj – kazao je župan Blaženko Boban.
