Radnici sinjske tvrtke "Telekomunikacije" čija je ponuda na javnom natječaju odabrana kao najpovoljnija za uređenje platoa oko Spomenika alkaru na Biljegu alkarskog trkališta ogradili su pristup spomeniku.

Preuzete poslove vrijedne 690 tisuća kuna izvođač se obvezao obaviti u roku od tri mjeseca. Za to vrijeme napravit će se drenaža i odvodnja oborinskih voda što je do sada bio najveći problem. Za vrijeme većih kiša cijeli Biljeg s uzdignutim spomenikom, koji je izrastao u glavno vizualno obilježje Sinja, pretvarao se u kaljužište.

Osim odvodnje te popločavanja platoa granitnim i kamenim pločama postavit će se i odgovarajuća javna rasvjeta. Spomenuti zahvat u Sinju je dugo bio potreban i zato je, sudeći po komentarima građana, jedva dočekan. Budući da pod Kamičkom u posljednje vrijeme ništa ne može bez prijepora, oni nisu izbjegnuti ni ovom prigodom.

Spomenik alkaru postavljen je na Biljegu 1965. godine, u povodu 250. Sinjske alke, a otkrio ga je predsjednik tadašnje SFRJ Josip Broz Tito kao pokrovitelj toga alkarskog jubileja. Autor skulpture je akademski kipar Stipe Sikirica, izdanak alkarskog kraja iz Jabuke kod Trilja.

Iako se radi o zahvatu na jednom od najpoznatijih i najvrjednijih djela iz umjetnikova bogatog opusa, oko planiranog preuređenja Biljega nitko nije kontaktirao Sikiricu.

– Dopustit ću sebi reći da je Spomenik alkaru prvi identitet Sinja i ako ga oni u Sinju tako ne tretiraju nedostatak je u njima, a ne u mom djelu. To što me zaobilaze smatram nepoštivanjem kako samog djela tako i mene kao njegova autora. Ovo djelo, argumentirano se usuđujem ustvrditi, spada među najznačajnija kiparska ostvarenja konjaničkih skulptura tijekom posljednjih nešto više od pola stoljeća u cijeloj Europi.

On ima svoj identitet i personalnost, što mi je bio i cilj kada sam ga radio. Kada samo ga postavljali, a činili smo to s mukom, na moju sreću sa mnom su tada bili uvaženi Sinjani toga doba, kao umjetnik pristupio sam Alci i ovom spomeniku kao nacionalnom brendu. Nisu me kontaktirali ni kada su restaurirali spomenik.

A restaurirali su ga diletantski. Na njemu je bilo pukotina od gelera i od vremenskog utjecaja, zbog rastezanja i skupljanja bronce od vrućine i hladnoće. To je trebalo stručno zavariti, a ne samo prekriti smolom i bojom. Spomenik je moje djelo i mogli su me barem pitati za mišljenje – s ogorčenjem je slučajno saznanje o početku radova na Biljegu prokomentirao 88-godišnji kipar.

Naručitelj radova je Grad u čijem ovogodišnjem proračunu je osiguran potreban novac. Lokalnim čelnicima, kako doznajemo, bilo je sugerirano da kontaktiraju umjetnika.

U povjerenstvu za izbor izvođača radova bili su i predstavnici Viteškog alkarskog društva koje je uputilo i pisani prijedlog da se Sikiricu kontaktira i upita za mišljenje. Administracija gradonačelnice Kristine Križanac zaobišla je taj dio postupka.

A radi se o čovjeku, izvanserijskom umjetniku, koji je svojim "kiparskim čekićem" oblikovao povijest alkarskog grada i kraja, a onda sav svoj opus darovao tom istom gradu u kojemu ga - zaobilaze.

Radnici sinjske tvrtke "Telekomunikacije" čija je ponuda na javnom natječaju odabrana kao najpovoljnija za uređenje platoa oko Spomenika alkaru na Biljegu alkarskog trkališta ogradili su pristup spomeniku.

Preuzete poslove vrijedne 690 tisuća kuna izvođač se obvezao obaviti u roku od tri mjeseca. Za to vrijeme napravit će se drenaža i odvodnja oborinskih voda što je do sada bio najveći problem. Za vrijeme većih kiša cijeli Biljeg s uzdignutim spomenikom, koji je izrastao u glavno vizualno obilježje Sinja, pretvarao se u kaljužište.

Osim odvodnje te popločavanja platoa granitnim i kamenim pločama postavit će se i odgovarajuća javna rasvjeta. Spomenuti zahvat u Sinju je dugo bio potreban i zato je, sudeći po komentarima građana, jedva dočekan. Budući da pod Kamičkom u posljednje vrijeme ništa ne može bez prijepora, oni nisu izbjegnuti ni ovom prigodom.

Spomenik alkaru postavljen je na Biljegu 1965. godine, u povodu 250. Sinjske alke, a otkrio ga je predsjednik tadašnje SFRJ Josip Broz Tito kao pokrovitelj toga alkarskog jubileja. Autor skulpture je akademski kipar Stipe Sikirica, izdanak alkarskog kraja iz Jabuke kod Trilja.

Iako se radi o zahvatu na jednom od najpoznatijih i najvrjednijih djela iz umjetnikova bogatog opusa, oko planiranog preuređenja Biljega nitko nije kontaktirao Sikiricu.

– Dopustit ću sebi reći da je Spomenik alkaru prvi identitet Sinja i ako ga oni u Sinju tako ne tretiraju nedostatak je u njima, a ne u mom djelu. To što me zaobilaze smatram nepoštivanjem kako samog djela tako i mene kao njegova autora. Ovo djelo, argumentirano se usuđujem ustvrditi, spada među najznačajnija kiparska ostvarenja konjaničkih skulptura tijekom posljednjih nešto više od pola stoljeća u cijeloj Europi.

On ima svoj identitet i personalnost, što mi je bio i cilj kada sam ga radio. Kada samo ga postavljali, a činili smo to s mukom, na moju sreću sa mnom su tada bili uvaženi Sinjani toga doba, kao umjetnik pristupio sam Alci i ovom spomeniku kao nacionalnom brendu. Nisu me kontaktirali ni kada su restaurirali spomenik.

A restaurirali su ga diletantski. Na njemu je bilo pukotina od gelera i od vremenskog utjecaja, zbog rastezanja i skupljanja bronce od vrućine i hladnoće. To je trebalo stručno zavariti, a ne samo prekriti smolom i bojom. Spomenik je moje djelo i mogli su me barem pitati za mišljenje – s ogorčenjem je slučajno saznanje o početku radova na Biljegu prokomentirao 88-godišnji kipar.

Naručitelj radova je Grad u čijem ovogodišnjem proračunu je osiguran potreban novac. Lokalnim čelnicima, kako doznajemo, bilo je sugerirano da kontaktiraju umjetnika.

U povjerenstvu za izbor izvođača radova bili su i predstavnici Viteškog alkarskog društva koje je uputilo i pisani prijedlog da se Sikiricu kontaktira i upita za mišljenje. Administracija gradonačelnice Kristine Križanac zaobišla je taj dio postupka.

A radi se o čovjeku, izvanserijskom umjetniku, koji je svojim "kiparskim čekićem" oblikovao povijest alkarskog grada i kraja, a onda sav svoj opus darovao tom istom gradu u kojemu ga - zaobilaze.
