Premda su otočani i njihovi gosti posljednjih godina s posebnom pozornošću promatrali brojne stare kabriolet VW 'Bube' i 'Buggyje' splitske tvrtke "Rapidus" d. o. o. na raznim turističkim turama po otoku Hvaru izgleda da im je sada automehaničar Ivan Matković (32) iz Vrbanja sa svojim bijelim 'Fićom' naprosto ukrao slavu.

Riječ je zapravo o kultnom automobilu "Zastava 750", čija je proizvodnja započela još davne 1955. godine po licenci "Fiat 600" u Zavodima "Crvena zastava" u Kragujevcu, što je potrajalo do 1985. godine.

Mali simpatični automobilčić je, govore, bio od presudnog značaja za široku motorizaciju bivše Jugoslavije, čak je korišten i kao službeno vozilo tadašnje milicije. O njemu su napisane mnoge pjesme, na njegov račun su zbijane šale, čak su i filmovi snimani njemu u čast, a sada je glavni oldtimer i prava atrakcija na Otoku sunca.

- Automehanikom se bavim od svoje 18-te godine i oldtimeri su zaista moja velika strast. Do sada sam vozio stare tipove 'Volkswagena', 'BMW'-a, 'Mercedesa'..., pa i američke marke, međutim, doista me iznenadilo kako ljudi gledaju na ovog 'malog zvrka'. Ja sam ga zapravo na određeno vrijeme posudio od mog prijatelja Ivana Caktaša iz Klisa, on je jedno vrijeme bio voditelj 'Oldschool ST Patrole', koja je u dalmatinskoj metropoli okupljala ljubitelje oldtimera. Tamo smo se zapravo i upoznali, spojila nas je ljubav prema automobilima – veli simpatični Vrbanjanin.

Naravno, pitali smo u čemu je posebnost tog 'njegovog' automobila proizvedenog 1977. godine, a on objašnjava da je malo proširen, ima posebne felge, dorađen motor, poboljšano hlađenje... Tome dodaje da je njegovo mjesto prema nekim neslužbenim statistikama svojedobno imalo najviše 'Fićeka' po glavi stanovnika, nešto slično kao kada su po srijedi Imoćani i njihovi 'Mercedesi'. Stoga nije ni čudo da je i on na neki način nastavio tradiciju svojih sumještana.

- E, da nije 'bile boje', pravo da vam kažem, ne bih ga ni vozio. Nikad ga ne turiram, iako je u potpuno ispravnom stanju, jednostavno guštam u malim okretajima. To je tek onako 'cruising po škoju', za ljetni štajun, kada mi je potriba malo razbistriti glavu. I zato hvala mome dragom prijatelju Ivanu, koji se pokazao kao pravi meštar od stila, dao je 'zvrku' novu dušu i time omogućio najbolju moguću promociju olditemara u našim mjestima – zaključio je Ivan iz Vrbanja.

Premda su otočani i njihovi gosti posljednjih godina s posebnom pozornošću promatrali brojne stare kabriolet VW 'Bube' i 'Buggyje' splitske tvrtke "Rapidus" d. o. o. na raznim turističkim turama po otoku Hvaru izgleda da im je sada automehaničar Ivan Matković (32) iz Vrbanja sa svojim bijelim 'Fićom' naprosto ukrao slavu.

Riječ je zapravo o kultnom automobilu "Zastava 750", čija je proizvodnja započela još davne 1955. godine po licenci "Fiat 600" u Zavodima "Crvena zastava" u Kragujevcu, što je potrajalo do 1985. godine.

Mali simpatični automobilčić je, govore, bio od presudnog značaja za široku motorizaciju bivše Jugoslavije, čak je korišten i kao službeno vozilo tadašnje milicije. O njemu su napisane mnoge pjesme, na njegov račun su zbijane šale, čak su i filmovi snimani njemu u čast, a sada je glavni oldtimer i prava atrakcija na Otoku sunca.

- Automehanikom se bavim od svoje 18-te godine i oldtimeri su zaista moja velika strast. Do sada sam vozio stare tipove 'Volkswagena', 'BMW'-a, 'Mercedesa'..., pa i američke marke, međutim, doista me iznenadilo kako ljudi gledaju na ovog 'malog zvrka'. Ja sam ga zapravo na određeno vrijeme posudio od mog prijatelja Ivana Caktaša iz Klisa, on je jedno vrijeme bio voditelj 'Oldschool ST Patrole', koja je u dalmatinskoj metropoli okupljala ljubitelje oldtimera. Tamo smo se zapravo i upoznali, spojila nas je ljubav prema automobilima – veli simpatični Vrbanjanin.

Naravno, pitali smo u čemu je posebnost tog 'njegovog' automobila proizvedenog 1977. godine, a on objašnjava da je malo proširen, ima posebne felge, dorađen motor, poboljšano hlađenje... Tome dodaje da je njegovo mjesto prema nekim neslužbenim statistikama svojedobno imalo najviše 'Fićeka' po glavi stanovnika, nešto slično kao kada su po srijedi Imoćani i njihovi 'Mercedesi'. Stoga nije ni čudo da je i on na neki način nastavio tradiciju svojih sumještana.

- E, da nije 'bile boje', pravo da vam kažem, ne bih ga ni vozio. Nikad ga ne turiram, iako je u potpuno ispravnom stanju, jednostavno guštam u malim okretajima. To je tek onako 'cruising po škoju', za ljetni štajun, kada mi je potriba malo razbistriti glavu. I zato hvala mome dragom prijatelju Ivanu, koji se pokazao kao pravi meštar od stila, dao je 'zvrku' novu dušu i time omogućio najbolju moguću promociju olditemara u našim mjestima – zaključio je Ivan iz Vrbanja.
