Svako naše malo misto u duši (ni)je kao Podaca.
- Ako si gladan, u Podaci će ti dat ist i pit. Ima nas odsvakud, a glavnina svita je došla iz Bosne i Hercegovine početkom devedesetih. Svi smo ko familija i odlično se slažemo. Zimi nas ovde živi oko 300, najviše do 50 eura svita - kaže Ljubo Filipović.
I kako se živi u Podaci?

- Nikad bolje! - suglasna je “raja u ćošku”. Ima među njima električara i građevinara, sve traženi meštri koji zarana marendaju nakon čega piva i razgovor lakše teku:

- Plodine u Zaostrogu su nam ko Pelješki most, povezuju nas sa sviton. Tamo sretnemo Drveničane, ljude iz Gradca i Živogošća, svi dođu. Jučer sam vidio dvadeset Drveničana, a da sam bio u Drveniku, ne bih vidio nikoga! - govori Franjo Šunjo te nabraja što sve Podaca ima: poštu, hitnu, dućan, gostionu, mjesni odbor, nove dvije plaže, crkvu...
- I u crkvi za Božić piva zbor! Eto, šta nam više triba? - zadovoljno će Ljubo.
Ima li nešto da vam ne treba, a imate?
- Jedino što mi u Podaci smeta je policijska patrola. Ne možeš iz gostione kući! Ma, kad se ima od čega živit, dobro je, a za nas uvik ima posla; netko renovira banju, netko gradi kuću, uvik fali radne snage - govori Ljubo, po struci i građi građevinar.
Nije zadovoljan što mora po pivu u Hercegovinu jer piva u Podaci košta 8 kuna, a u Hercegovini je duplo jeftinija.
- Zbog Šengena više ne mogu u Hercegovinu, a meni je važnija Hercegovina negoli Šengen! Doduše, kad pivu priračunan u eure bit će mi lakše!
Svi prisutni redom hvale gračkog načelnika, SDP-ova Matka Burića, mada pritom nužno ne podržavaju njegovo stranačko opredjeljenje.

- Mnogo dobroga je Burić učinio za Podacu - veli Franjo Šunjo - napravio je novu šetnicu i trotoare, spojio plažu, napravio WC na plaži, igralište za djecu je uredio. Nema čega se nije dohvatio. Podaca je 16 godina bila zaostalo misto jer smo imali načelnika koji gleda samo sebe. Zato i je najbogatiji u mistu!
Ljubo kaže da nove mlade snage koje su preuzele općinu pokazuju odlične rezultate te je uvjeren kako stariji i oni bez vizije koče mlađe koji nešto znaju i koji žele mijenjati stvari nabolje.
Čovik i po
- Doša san u Makarsku po papir s katastra. - Ne mogu van ga sad izdat, tribat ćete pričekat! - kaže mlada službenica. To je najmanje 6 miseci čekanja - mislin ja, a ona doda - Dođite za pola sata! I još mi se izvinjava! Eto, to su te mlađe generacije: kulturne, pristojne i radišne. Svi koji su se primali u pionire davno su zastranili. I ja isto tako! - priznaje nam Ljubo Filipović.
Načelnik Matko Burić je član DVD-a i saznajemo da je sve vatrogasce vodio u Budimpeštu na izlet. Natječu se tko će ga i za što više pohvaliti:
- Burić je čovik i po! - slaže se i Nino Štula. - Podržavaju ga livi i desni jer ima rezultate i ljudina je! Vidićeš ga u gostioni, na sprovodu, svugdi. Bori se za svoje misto i svoju općinu, a koje je stranke, to me ne zanima. On želi da sve ide naprid, i ne samo što želi, nego tako i čini. Renovirao je i prostorije mjesne zajednice, tu najčešće dolazi omladina i druže se uz muziku i stolni tenis - kazuje Nino.
- Svugdi je lipo kad ti je lipo u glavi. Ali ne bi ti ja odavde iša, nema tih para! - nema Ljubo nikakve dvojbe.
Jasno nam je i zašto. Kad smo naručivali čaj, konobar nam je donio teglu domaćeg meda, pa zagrabi po želji, kaže. A platiti? Ne da Ljubo!
Uvjerili smo se da u Podaci zaista nećete ostati ni gladni ni žedni! Teška srca napuštamo mjesto jer, istina je, svi smo ovdje ko familija!

Svako naše malo misto u duši (ni)je kao Podaca.
- Ako si gladan, u Podaci će ti dat ist i pit. Ima nas odsvakud, a glavnina svita je došla iz Bosne i Hercegovine početkom devedesetih. Svi smo ko familija i odlično se slažemo. Zimi nas ovde živi oko 300, najviše do 50 eura svita - kaže Ljubo Filipović.
I kako se živi u Podaci?
Uvik ima posla
- Nikad bolje! - suglasna je “raja u ćošku”. Ima među njima električara i građevinara, sve traženi meštri koji zarana marendaju nakon čega piva i razgovor lakše teku:

- Plodine u Zaostrogu su nam ko Pelješki most, povezuju nas sa sviton. Tamo sretnemo Drveničane, ljude iz Gradca i Živogošća, svi dođu. Jučer sam vidio dvadeset Drveničana, a da sam bio u Drveniku, ne bih vidio nikoga! - govori Franjo Šunjo te nabraja što sve Podaca ima: poštu, hitnu, dućan, gostionu, mjesni odbor, nove dvije plaže, crkvu...
- I u crkvi za Božić piva zbor! Eto, šta nam više triba? - zadovoljno će Ljubo.
Ima li nešto da vam ne treba, a imate?
- Jedino što mi u Podaci smeta je policijska patrola. Ne možeš iz gostione kući! Ma, kad se ima od čega živit, dobro je, a za nas uvik ima posla; netko renovira banju, netko gradi kuću, uvik fali radne snage - govori Ljubo, po struci i građi građevinar.
Nije zadovoljan što mora po pivu u Hercegovinu jer piva u Podaci košta 8 kuna, a u Hercegovini je duplo jeftinija.
- Zbog Šengena više ne mogu u Hercegovinu, a meni je važnija Hercegovina negoli Šengen! Doduše, kad pivu priračunan u eure bit će mi lakše!
Svi prisutni redom hvale gračkog načelnika, SDP-ova Matka Burića, mada pritom nužno ne podržavaju njegovo stranačko opredjeljenje.

- Mnogo dobroga je Burić učinio za Podacu - veli Franjo Šunjo - napravio je novu šetnicu i trotoare, spojio plažu, napravio WC na plaži, igralište za djecu je uredio. Nema čega se nije dohvatio. Podaca je 16 godina bila zaostalo misto jer smo imali načelnika koji gleda samo sebe. Zato i je najbogatiji u mistu!
Ljubo kaže da nove mlade snage koje su preuzele općinu pokazuju odlične rezultate te je uvjeren kako stariji i oni bez vizije koče mlađe koji nešto znaju i koji žele mijenjati stvari nabolje.
Čovik i po
- Doša san u Makarsku po papir s katastra. - Ne mogu van ga sad izdat, tribat ćete pričekat! - kaže mlada službenica. To je najmanje 6 miseci čekanja - mislin ja, a ona doda - Dođite za pola sata! I još mi se izvinjava! Eto, to su te mlađe generacije: kulturne, pristojne i radišne. Svi koji su se primali u pionire davno su zastranili. I ja isto tako! - priznaje nam Ljubo Filipović.
Načelnik Matko Burić je član DVD-a i saznajemo da je sve vatrogasce vodio u Budimpeštu na izlet. Natječu se tko će ga i za što više pohvaliti:
- Burić je čovik i po! - slaže se i Nino Štula. - Podržavaju ga livi i desni jer ima rezultate i ljudina je! Vidićeš ga u gostioni, na sprovodu, svugdi. Bori se za svoje misto i svoju općinu, a koje je stranke, to me ne zanima. On želi da sve ide naprid, i ne samo što želi, nego tako i čini. Renovirao je i prostorije mjesne zajednice, tu najčešće dolazi omladina i druže se uz muziku i stolni tenis - kazuje Nino.
- Svugdi je lipo kad ti je lipo u glavi. Ali ne bi ti ja odavde iša, nema tih para! - nema Ljubo nikakve dvojbe.
Jasno nam je i zašto. Kad smo naručivali čaj, konobar nam je donio teglu domaćeg meda, pa zagrabi po želji, kaže. A platiti? Ne da Ljubo!
Uvjerili smo se da u Podaci zaista nećete ostati ni gladni ni žedni! Teška srca napuštamo mjesto jer, istina je, svi smo ovdje ko familija!
